The forest was brimming with life, and we were lost.
"This was a horrible idea." Creed complained, the backpack jostled behind him as he walked.
"We're not lost," I insisted.
"Then where are we?"
I didn't answer and he continued "I cant believe I agreed to this- clearly you have no clue of anything, yet for some reason people keep listening to you."
"Wisdom of experience."
"We're the same age and you're wise as a muckfield that a village plonked in for six dung days after eating feces-tasting sausages enough to turn their innards into excrement."
After we walked a few more steps, he added "incase you didn't get it, you're wise as sh" "I got it. Look, what's the worst that could happen? And it isn't my fault they failed to properly inform where the nest is, or where we could find individuals. Besides, we could probably locate it by-"

We both hid in the nearby trees, Creed behind a tree, and I nearly melted into it, figuratively speaking. I peaked at my D(stealth) score- 10!

He nodded and I quickly made my way up. The trees' foliage was at about ten meters from the ground, and the branches were sturdy.
When I signaled Creed to do the preordained action previously agreed upon, he stepped out from cover, and shouted at the now visible enemy: "hey muckhead, I bet those wings of yours would make a nice accessory to WIPE MY ASS!" He turned around and presented his posterior.
I facepalmed.
He was supposed to throw me the rope so I could help him up. Then we'd go over and do something slightly smarter then pissing of a baby dragon.
And boy was it pissed.
It screeched at dived at him.
I calculated quickly; Creed was slightly behind me, on the ground, the wyrmling was about to reach him in six seconds, and trees were about three meters apart.
Then I saw the wyrmling's throat start to glow. Probably nothing good.
I swung from the tree I was on, drew my daggers and dived, managing to land on its scalding neck, with a dagger embedded on each side.
