"Oops, it looks like I made a huge blunder."

Light illuminates brightly down upon the man standing in a clouded, blue sky.

Before him, a translucent woman, wearing a white gown stood above that man with a guilty expression.

The man was confused, he wasn't certain what just happened to him.

Right now, he believed that he must have pulled over in his car and fallen asleep.

"Where...am I?" He asked glancing about with a frown.

The woman rubbed the top of her head and blows out a sigh that indicated her frustration.

Instead of answering the question right away, the woman was going through her archives instead.

The Goddess of Flow controls the flow of one's time of death.

She rarely ever makes a mistake.

So, when she was given a mission to bring in a woman meant to die today, she somehow mixed the names in the database.

Finally, after a few minutes of searching, she found the person she summoned to the heavens in the archives.

Name of Arrival: Zin Amathis

Time of original Death: 40 years

This mistake was more than just a blunder on her part!

The person she meant to bring in was a woman named Zena Amara.

How'd she confuse the two? That is beyond her.

"Um..." the man raised a hand to get the Goddess's attention.

He's assuming that's what she was in this dream.

She glanced up and gave the man a smile of regret, "it looks like I will have to fix this mistake of mine." She tells him.

He gave her an odd look, "what mistake?" He asked.

She scratched the back of her neck while also avoiding his gaze, "it looks as though I accidentally, may have, killed off the wrong person?"

It was silent for a few, when a long enough time passed, he laughed out loud while holding his stomach.

It was like this for a good minute before he finally caught his breath to speak.

"This dream isn't in my favor if I suddenly died," he says while wiping away tear ducts.

The woman stared at him as though he had a few screws loose.

"Dream? I'm afraid to tell you this, but you're not dreaming," she points out.

The man waves his hand about, "of course it is, there's no way it's real."

The woman felt bad suddenly, it's clear that this poor soul had no clue that he died in a car accident.

It must have all happened so fast.

Well, all she can do is show him that moment for him to believe her.

She splayed her hands out and conjured up a magic viewing screen.

In this magic viewing screen, one could witness the tragic death of the soul standing before her.

Afterward, the man looked completely taken aback.

"That's not right.... how could this have happened?" He asked falling to his knees in defeat.

To have died without even realizing it, how embarrassing!

The Goddess felt pity for the soul knelt before her. How can she compensate him for her mistake?

Something suddenly came to mind that could only work if he consented.

Clearing her throat, the Goddess pointed up, "how about this, if the soul so wishes, I can give you a chance to reincarnate." She tells him.

The man sniffs and wipes his eyes using the back of his arm before looking up at the Goddess, "really? Then does that mean I can go back to my world?" He asked.

The Goddess panics and waves about her hands, "unfortunately, that is not the case," she admits.

The man frowns, he was confused by the Goddess's words, "then where would I reincarnate?" He asked.

With the viewing screen still floating above him, the Goddess reveals a world similar to Earth.

"This is the planet known as Iredil. If the soul agrees to reincarnation then I shall send you here," she tells him.

It was the first time he ever heard of such a planet, he also tells the Goddess this.

"Indeed, that is because Iredil is in another dimension different from yours. In this dimension magic and creatures beyond your imagination exist," she explains.

A world where magic existed, something different from Earth.

The man contemplated this. If he agreed to these terms he would no longer live on Earth, was that such a bad deal?

Back on Earth, he lived his days slowly and without much care.

Working a nine-to-five job and letting his life repeat this over and over again.

Honestly, there were no attachments that he could say would keep him from agreeing to the Goddess's suggestion.

"This world that Goddess-nim is sending me to, is it a dangerous place?" He asked.

"It is much more dangerous than Earth, but the soul does not need to worry, I shall not send you to a world without preparations." She told him.

The scene on the viewing screen transforms into floating orbs with different colors.

The Goddess explained what these colors meant.

According to the Goddess, the orbs' colors were based on Ranked skills from Rank F to Rank SS, SS being the highest rank.

Orbs' Colors and Ranks:

  1. White Orb- F-Rank (Normal Skills and Items-can be upgraded)
  2. Grey Orb- E-Rank  (Same as White orbs, a better selection-can be upgraded)
  3.  Black Orb- D-Rank ( Uncommon skills and items with a mixture of Normal Skills - can be upgraded)
  4.  Blue Orb- C-Rank (Same as Black orbs, may have magic skills and items in the mix - can be upgraded)
  5.  Yellow Orb- B-Rank (Rare skills and items, a great chance to get magic items and skills - can be upgraded)
  6. Green Orb- A-Rank Epic skills and items, hard to come by - can be upgraded)
  7. Red Orb- S-Rank  ( Same as Green orbs, has a very rare chance of obtaining - Can be upgraded)
  8. Purple Orb- SS-Rank (Legendary Skills and Items, hard to obtain - cannot be upgraded)

"Usually a soul cannot obtain such an amazing opportunity, but because of my mistake I will grant the soul orbs to get by in the new world." The Goddess says.

The Goddess sorts the orbs to make it easier for him to view each skill and item.

"Please choose carefully, whatever you choose will stay with you all your life." She warns.

The man stared at the orbs, "how many can I have?" He asked.

"Well, since it's my mistake I shall let you choose eight skills, but you're only allowed one SS Rank skill, and two S Rank skills," she points out.

This should be good enough, normally if sent to another world the souls could only pick low-ranked orbs, it's up to them to upgrade them once they entered the new world.

He eyed the orbs and without fail found eight skills he felt would be useful in the new world.

"Oh, I did not expect such amazing choices." The Goddess says drawing the rest of the orbs into a chest.

Once the chest vanished she turned her attention to the soul once again, "I hope you are satisfied with the skills that you've chosen before I send you to the new world. Is there anything else you wish for?" She asked.

The man rubs his chin, "is it possible to receive a few other things? I feel that I'm lacking something."

The goddess knew that she could not send him to a world with just a few skills, it was not enough to make up for her mistake.

Something came to mind, "how about I give a few blessings that are only meant for a hero?" She asked.

The man wasn't sure what she meant by blessing, but it must not be bad by the way it sounded so he agreed.

"Alright, then it is decided! I shall grant you three blessings. Ah, one more thing, because of the skills you've chosen, it would be useful to receive these blessings in the new world." She points out.

She explained to him that she would give him the title of healer based on the SS Rank skill that he had chosen.

Afterward, she preceded upon passing on her blessings.

"With this, you should be able to live in that world without any problems," she tells him with a nod.

Even if he died because of a mistake, he was glad to receive the Goddess's blessings and was grateful that she was doing her best to make up for her mistake.

"Thank you, Goddess, I'll be sure to serve the goddess well." He tells her bowing his head.

"Oh no! There's no need to do such a thing, please live the way you wish in this new world, that is all that I ask." The goddess tells him.

A peaceful life, with the skills that he chose, he plans to live a fruitful life more than a peaceful one.

"Live well, Zin Amathis." She says closing her eyes and summoning a bright magical light.

The man shields his eyes from the bright light that nearly blinded him until eventually, everything became dark.

The New World

In a small kingdom known as the Xesreles Kingdom, lived the Amathis Dukedom.

When it came to ranks in the world of Iredil, the Amathis Family was ranked C in the kingdom charts.

So as not to lose their place in the ranks, for generations, the Heads of Amathis have done their best to only birth useful children.

If not useful, they would exile that useless child and then make the next best child the head of the family.

The Head of the Dukedom and father of four children, Duke Magnus Amathis, had one son and three daughters, he was a man who chooses pride over familial love.

So when his eldest son, Zin Amathis finally turned fifteen, he was ecstatic to find out what his job would be.

During his son's coming of age, he was more nervous than any other person in that room.

In the temple where jobs are given to children of age, his son's job was announced.

After hearing about the job his son received, his world collapsed instantly.

While on the other hand, Zin was confused, for when he opened his eyes he was surrounded by all these stares.

While he was told that he would be reincarnated in a new world, it was still quite the shock to do so.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself kneeling in a building that seemed like a temple.

Not only that, it looked as though the body he entered had the same name as his original self.

Was he going through a ceremony right now?

"The job as a healer? Priest! Are you certain?" A bearded man standing close to his left asked.

The priest standing high on a podium spoke, "I'm afraid so, Duke." The priest says.

The bearded man became red, he refused to look over at his son and waved his hand.

"I, Duke Amathis, declare that Zin Amathis is no longer my son. For now on, he is exiled from the Dukedom and my eldest daughter Mirim shall take his place as the next successor!" Duke Amathis yells.

It was a declaration that Zin did not see coming. What the hell happened before he took over this body?

Once it was announced that he was a healer, everyone around him looked down on him as if he were an insect.

"All your wealth and your last name will be stripped. You shall live your days in exile on a Wasteland in the Far East. Do not worry, this land is yours and I will not involve myself in whatever you do on this land." Duke Amathis tells him.

Could it be that in this world, healers were considered the worst job?

For the Goddess to not tell him this, he would have chosen a different job.

Guards came up and dragged him out of the temple and tossed him out onto the ground.

Before he could even do anything, he had been stripped of his wealth and last name.

Wasn't he supposed to have a better life than before?!

He stood and dusted his pants off, before throwing up a middle finger at the temple.

A carriage pulled up beside him and a man in a butler outfit stepped out of the carriage, "Sir Zin, please get in." He says with a bow.

Zin sighs, it looked as though he had no other choice.

So he boarded the carriage and was led outside of Xesreles Kingdom.

The drive to a certain wasteland took three days to complete.

Upon arrival, he was left there without a single belonging on his person.

Should he see this situation as a good thing?

Based on the skills he chose from the goddess, if he had stayed in the Xesreles Kingdom, they would be deemed useless.

Since he's here he should be able to freely call upon his profile then.

What did the Goddess say? To view his profile he has to call out something?

He hits the palm of his hand with his fist, "right, STATUS!" He calls out.

It's better than he expected, thanks to his conceal skill he was tossed out of the kingdom. But this was good for him.

Not only that, there seems to be an extra skill, he didn't remember choosing the B Rank skill swordsmanship.

Is this the Goddess's doing? Well, it's a good thing, having a melee skill would be useful.

He calls away his profile and stared out into the distance.

From this height, he could see the layout of the entire land.

The reason it was known as a wasteland was due to its inability to produce crops.

Not just that it was a land where monsters gathered.

Despite this, the land was fairly large, there was access to trees and rivers which lay farther to the east.

He could barely make it out, but he was sure that an ocean was on the horizon in the north.

He shouldn't have much to worry about, he'll use everything the Goddess granted him well.

With the Kingdom's blessing, he'll show his father that he can become a force to be reckoned with, not only as a leader but also as a Combat Healer!

Before going down to confront those monsters, he'll stay up on this cliff for the night.
