With the Dao Flowers falling into his body, Zhong Yue could clearly feel his True Spirits growing at an incredible rate. The Sui Tree and Innate Tai Yin Qi would ensure his True Spirits’ advancements into the Innate Trie Spirits, while the Dao Flowers were the assurance that the two True Spirits would not be killed!
The Innate True Spirit was the prerequisite to enter one of the state of extremities in the True Spirit level—the awakening of the Innate True Spirits was a state of extremity only accessible by the innate spirit bodies.
If one didn’t have an innate spirit body, they would never be able to cultivate this state of extremity, and would slowly be distanced away from the innate spirit bodies in the future.
This was one of the many advantages of the innate spirit bodies, none of the races could ever force it.
Thus, when given the opportunity. Zhong Yue would do anything he could to get there!
The Dao Flowers were consumed by the two True Spirits, boosting their powers.
When the thirty-ninth Dao Flower was fully consumed, Zhong Yue’s mortal body shuddered lightly. A marvelous sense of realization rushed into his head; his Golden Crow Yuan Shen was soaring and fluttering, and totem patterns that were even more profound and abstruse than before emerged from its body!
The knowledge and abstrusities of these totem patterns rushed into his head; they were the innate totem patterns that were far more profound than the Great Sun Totem Patterns he had previously attained!
With the help of the Sui Tree and Dao Flowers, the Great Sun True Spirit advanced one step faster into the Innate Golden Crow True Spirit!
Zhong Yue’s heart throbbed with excitement, the Innate Golden Crow True Spirit brought a huge leap in his prowess. His attainments in the Great Sun and True Spirit skills were wider and deeper, even his control over the Pure Yang Qi increased!
Furthermore, it was the sun that gave light to the moon; with the success of the Innate Golden Crow True Spirit, he could feel his Star Toad True Spirit growing at a faster rate toward the innate state!
“Good, good! It’s all worth my hundreds of years of cultivation!" Zhong Yue was overjoyed. He now turned all of his focus onto the Star Toad True Spirit. In comparison, his Star Toad True Spirit was more inferior to his Golden Crow True Spirit, its foundation was not as strong.
He didn’t cultivate the Star Toad True Spirit as much as his Golden Crow True Spirit, and also because it was taken from Xiao Chuqing instead of him manifesting it on his own, it was much weaker than the Golden Crow Yuan Shen.
However, the Dao Flowers and the Innate Tai Yin Qi, in addition to the newly cultivated Innate Golden Crow True Spirit, the Star Toad True Spirit grew at an incredible rate!
“Six more Dao Flowers left…”
“Two more…”
“Here comes the last Dao Flower…”
Zhong Yue tensed his heart, he was getting nervous as there was only one last Dao Flower left, and his Star Toad True Spirit was on the verge of breaking through!
He could feel the innate boundary just one step away, all he needed was a final impetus strong enough to advance it that last step!
……
Meanwhile, a divine tree with a leafy treetop arrived in the edge of the Ancestral Star’s galaxy. It stopped and rooted itself in the center of the sun, shrouding the sun core away with its tree branches.
Its branches extended out in all domains to every corner of the galaxy; the Celestial Water Star, Celestial Gold Star, Ancestral Star, Celestial Fire Star, and eventually, the whole Solar System!
Then, the leaves and branches grew fainter as the whole divine tree hid itself the void. Since that moment on, the fundamental principles that dictated the galaxy had irrevocably changed!
At the same time, a huge scroll unfurled itself above the Solar System, covering the whole galaxy like a screen of light.
The scroll first wiped the surroundings back into a state of chaos; then, right inside of the the scroll, the light and dark was separated within the endless chaos, the endless elements of nature emerged, and also the beginning of life—it was a reenactment of the birth of a universe!
Eventually, the Ancestral Star had become one of the many stars and planets of the reenacted universe inside the divine scroll.
The Divine Tree of Knowledge and Skymetrical Scroll coexisted like a single entity; one changed the fundamental principles of the surroundings, and the other replaced the surrounding of the Solar System with a whole new universe.
The two divine weapons arrived silently without fanfare. They had already covered the Solar System without arousing any of the races’ suspicion.
Only some of the gods were able to detect that something was amiss; they looked up into the sky and found the stars lights blurred out for a split second as if a piece of silk had flashed over them. But the feeling had disappeared in the next second when they looked back again.
On one of the moons orbiting around the Celestial Wood Star, Qiu Jin’er abruptly raised her head and gazed into the endless space. She felt an invisible barrier flowing across the top, but the feeling was vague and indistinct.
Like slowly boiling a toad in a bowl of water, no one was able to detect the monumental change that would forever change their fates!
“Lie Shan Clan, your little fire spark burnt a huge hole!" On the edge of the Solar System, King Zi Guang mumbled in dissatisfaction as he saw the large hole in the previously flawless Skymetrical Scroll.

He shook his head and sighed while randomly picking a planet and tucking it into the large hole, now leaving the Solar System with eight planets.
“All done, I should go back now!" King Zi Guang laughed and left.
Over the next hundreds or even thousands of years, the elements required for cultivation would fade from existence. After five thousand years, even the strongest skill and art might not even be able to light up a box of matches!
Six thousand years later, the final flames of the path of cultivation would have extinguished to finally usher in a new era.
“Roar— Who are you?! Why are you standing on my path!" An indignant roar rumbled like thunder.
When the last Dao Flower disappeared into Zhong Yue’s mortal body, it was also the time when the Divine Tree of Knowledge changed the fundamental principles of the world around. As a result, the Dao Flower was no longer flawless!
The Dao Flower was formed by the heaven and earth, and it carried the will of the world. And when the Divine Tree of Knowledge affected the rules of heaven and earth, the Dao Flower was affected as well!
It was just the negligible blemish, but it was nevertheless a crucial element for Zhong Yue’s success, causing him to fail in cultivating the Innate Star Toad True Spirit.
The sudden absence of the Dao Flower’s energy created instability within the newly formed Innate Star Toad True Spirit, eventually leading to its reversion back out of the innate state.
Not only that, but the lack of the Dao Flower’s energy left a small window in the Star Toad True Spirit’s protection. Thus, the Innate Tai Yin Qi was allowed to strike it, nearly killing his Star Toad True Spirit!
If the Star Toad True Spirit was destroyed, half of his prowess would disappear along with it, and he wouldn’t be able to recover the lost cultivation at all!
The swimmer knew best of the water’s temperature. Zhong Yue was cultivating with the help of the Dao Flowers, he was in fact, the first to sense the sudden changes that occured in the world.
He quickly kept the Innate Tai Yin Qi away without hesitation. Then, he looked up into the sky and saw an invisible barrier disappearing away into the void.
“What is that… a barrier?" He cast out the divine third eye to look again with the Fuxi divine eyes, and he saw it.
There were the fake stars and planets duplicated in front of the real ones, but none of this was visible from the Ancestral Star. There were also tree branches and leaves that extended all over the space.
“This…" Zhong Yue’s heart pounded in terror, he mumbled, “How large, these leaves are… this is a layer of a… membrane? Is this the end for the Ancestral Star, the thing that moon god spoke of? It’s finally here… Xin Huo, can you find anything?”
Xin Huo glanced around through Zhong Yue’s divine eyes. Moments later, he shook his head and said, “I’ve got nothing. You are still too weak, I can only see what you can. The stronger you are, the more I can see. These leaves and tree branches, it’s no doubt they are from a tree. By the looks of it, whatever this tree is, it is surely strong enough to stop all cultivation, but what is this membrane about?”
The innate moon god once told him that the Ancestral Star would be robbed of the path of cultivation, but she never elaborated on how that would happen.
“To seal our connection to the laws of heaven... just how strong must one be to be able to do this?" Zhong Yue’s face darkened. If cultivation in the Ancestral Star were to disappear, all the races, even the ancient celestials and demons would end up the same— Qi Practitioners will cease to exist!
But the rate of change from the divine tree was slow, it would take many years for it to happen. Right now, the living beings on the Ancestral Star could still cultivate, and even ascend into deityhood.
There would be no obvious change within the near future, but the worst outcome is inevitable as long as the divine tree remained.
“Humans are weak in nature, it is only because of cultivation are we able to stand a chance against the other races. If our path to cultivation was severed, we would never be able to protect ourselves against the other races!”
The celestial race and demon race had high intelligence and strong bodies, they had a long history and firm foundations; while the insect race had the strong mortal bodies with a terrifying rate of reproduction and ability to adapt. They were only less intelligent than the celestials and demons.
In stark contrast, the human race was the weakest, in each and every aspect!
The end of cultivations would greatly impact the humans, more than any other races!
“Brat Yue, the Ancestral Star’s fundamental principles are impaired, this place is not suitable for cultivation anymore." Xin Huo said decisively, “You need to leave this place already, either to the Kun Lun Realm, or activate the Heavenly Monarch Imperial Road in the Celestial Fire Star to go to the Zi Wei Galaxy. Forcibly cultivating in a flawed environment like this will leave flaws in your foundation!”
Zhong Yue nodded softly, he had the same thought a long time ago as well. He was already reaching to the limit of what he could achieve on the Ancestral Star.
Now, he could finish traveling across the whole Ancestral Star in just less than three days, and he could stride across the ocean in two hours time. The Ancestral Star that seemed to be huge in the past now appeared to be incredibly small.
A dragon would never be able to grow in a small pool of water.
“But, if I leave just like that, what will happen to humanity?" Zhong Yue mumbled softly, he raised his head up and said, “Our survival is contingent upon our ability to cultivate. With that gone, then in the future, our people will not stand a chance to live well in this cruel world… Xin Huo, I will leave with you, but before that, I need to do that one thing I have been wanting to do a long time ago.”
“What thing?" Xin Huo asked curiously.
Zhong Yue inhaled deeply and sighed, his voice suddenly turned colder than ice as he said, “A blood ritual, one like what the evil existence had done to us Fuxi. With the blood of the celestials, demons and insects, I will execute a ritual to seal all of them… just like how the Fuxi were sealed into humans!”
