Chapter 873: Brave Entering The Star Torrent Fortress

Zhong Yue blinked again, a loud drumbeat shattered the dimension before 14 Heavenly Wardens descended ferociously, all of them looking at the drum’s remains.

Beside them was another huge drum, one that was even stronger!

“The Fuxi is still on the run!”

The scales on the armour of a Heavenly Warden slithered, crawled and clashed together. After a series of metal clanking, the warden said, “She is very impressive indeed, no wonder she managed to become the Heavenly Court’s Shumishi 1 . But then again, the Heaven Court is really trash, they did not even notice her and even made her the Shumishi!”

“This lady used her clones to distract us, killing four of her comrades. But now, she has no more chances to distract us.”

Just as the 14 Heavenly Wardens were about to look around for traces, the dimension shook as massive warships sailed out from a rift that was opened in the void. Endless gods were standing on these warships.

“Treacherous fools! How dare you intrude on our Jitong Clan’s territory, not to mention killing our people and destroying their planets!”

An old Imperial Emperor shouted, “And you’re thinking of running now?”

The wardens frowned and one warden took out a token and shouted, “We are the Heavenly Wardens and we are here to capture the Fuxi under Heaven’s order! How dare you stop us and humiliate Heaven!”

“Heavenly Warden?”

The old Imperial Emperor put on a smile and said frigidly, “Who cares about you Heavenly Wardens, do you know that you are in the ancient universe now? Since you have the guts to kill our people, you will have to face the consequences! Bring out the ancestor weapon!”

“How dare you!”

“Does the Jitong Clan intend to rebel? We are here under Heaven’s orders, and we Heavenly Wardens are in charge of maintaining order and making sure that everyone falls in line….”

“This rule of yours does not apply in the ancient universe!”

A loud explosion sounded out, the galaxy split apart and a terrifying might descended; a massive golden halo flew out. It was a chakra shaped monarch weapon adorned with a myriad of totem. As it spun quickly, one could make out a massive dimension imagination inside of it.

“The Jitong Clan is going to betray Heaven?”

The 14 Heavenly Wardens were shocked and angered.

They immediately activated and slammed onto the drum while the old Imperial Emperor from Jitong Clan charged at them with the countless Jitong Clan’s magnates.

But this war had nothing to do with Zhong Yue anymore as he was already far away, though he could still feel the tremendous and destructive power that flinched his heart greatly coming from the back.

Even if Jitong Clan killed the 14 Heavenly Wardens, they would still find out Si Ming is also one of the culprits and they will definitely hunt her down. They will be searching for her everywhere and she would not be able to stay in the ancient universe anymore.

Zhong Yue thought.

What Si Ming provoked the monarch races too much. With the insane capabilities of Jitong Clan, the 14 Heavenly Wardens are dead for sure, but Si Ming’s acts will surely be exposed at the same time.

But then again, if she could live her life freely in the Zi Wei Galaxy, the ancient universe’s Jitong Clan wouldn’t be able to deal with her as well.

Zhong Yue got in touch with Fu Li and was relieved to find out that Mu Suge was still in their hands. He immediately asked Fu Li for the Star Torrent Fortress’ location and rushed towards it.

Two months later, he arrived at the sacred ground where the humans resided.

Fuxi’s survivors, here I come.

Zhong Yue was extremely excited but did not forget his manners; he tidied himself and stood up straight before walking towards the fortress.

“Halt!”

Outside of the fortress, a wild human sentry guarding the fortress shouted, “Identity yourself!”

As his voice rumbled across the skies, everyone that was living within the few hundred planets of the Star Torrent Fortress immediately heard his voice; Zhong Yue generated power into his throat and shouted, “I am Left King Yi Feng, a servant under Zi Wei Galaxy’s Xian Tian Palace’s Imperial Emperor Xian Tian. I am here to pay a visit to the human leaders from the ancient galaxy, would you please inform them of my visit?”

His voice contained the essence of the Dao inside it as it reached every corner of the Star Torrent Fortress.

Meanwhile, Mu Suge, who was imprisoned in the deepest part of Star Torrent Fortress, was relieved, “Mister is here! He is finally here to save me! But can he do it? These wild humans are very brutal!”

“Xian Tian Palace’s Left King, Yi Feng? Wait for a moment!”

The giant turned around and shouted towards the fortress, “There’s a Yi Feng here to see our leader, are we supposed to kill him or welcome him in?”

The next second later, an even louder voice shouted back, “They said he’s a human like us but if he crosses the line, kill him! Let this fool in for now. If he does anything funny, kill him!”

“Ok, let’s go! Move!”

Zhong Yue nodded and walked right into the fortress.

At the same time, a few human magnates dragged Mu Suge out of the prison, tossing him to the ground. They said, “The leaders said that this Yi guy is here to ransom this brat Third Prince Mu here. If the ransom is too little, we will sell this brat in pieces. First, we will sell a bit of him to the celestial races, then the demon races. They will surely pay a generous amount for his pieces.”

“I’m drooling already!”

Another one said, “But that kid Fu Li is just a prawn head. In my opinion, we should just capture this Mister Yi and sell him off along with the prince. Buy one, get one free. How about that? Buy the prince’s leg and be gifted with Mister Yi’s arm, our business will blossom for sure!”

Mu Suge’s face turned pale and he was dragged all the way to the Star Torrent Fortress’s human saint palace.

This human saint palace was also very unique compared to the other saint palaces out there; it was entirely built from pale bones. These bones were the bones of the many celestial and demon races that the humans have killed. There were even Imperial Emperor level bones. Their bones that were used to build this palace was a display of their power.

Apart from that, Mu Suge also knew that these wild humans held no principles in themselves; just like the monster races, they were extremely ruthless, wild and fierce. They worked for anyone who paid them generously.

Sometimes, they might even go back on their words and kill their employers.

On this continent surrounded by stars was another saint palace, one that was left behind by the ancient humans when they were still Fuxi. But Mu Suge had never been in there before.

Before the White Bones Saint Palace, massive skeletons were everywhere and they were used to build roads. At the side of the road was a massive firepit and on top of the firepit was a huge pot filled with boiling oil. Beside the firepit were mountains made of sabers and fire oceans. Meanwhile, ferocious wild humans stood at the side, each holding a massive weapon. With their weapons in their hands, these wild humans stood along the roads, grinning as they looked around.

Mu Suge was then pressed onto the ground before the White Bones Saint Palace and he looked around at the hellish scene; the wild humans were just like evil spirits from Hell.

Behind him were many ancient wild human elders sitting on white bone thrones. The handles of these thrones were all massive skulls, presumably Imperial Emperor level skulls as they still emitted a vague Imperial Emperors’ might.

Fu Li sat right in front the palace with a nine ringed golden blade placed at the left and a bone club at the right, looking extremely ferocious and his hands were grabbing onto the chains chained onto Mu Suge’s neck.

The wild humans were all on their guard and when Mu Suge looked around, he saw a young god traveling towards him while ignoring the angry stares from the wild humans.

Mister Yi is indeed Mister Yi, such a calm and steady temperament is something that not everyone can cultivate, thought Mu Suge.

Meanwhile, Zhong Yue ignored these horrifying scenes and he walked towards his target calmly. As he closed in step by step, a saber suddenly flashed towards him and with less than an inch gap, it hacked right into the skeleton path.

Seeing this, Mu Suge’s heart pounded quickly, only to see Zhong Yue stop walking and look at the wild human that swung the saber.

This wild human was muscular with bulky totem patterns that intertwined around him, further amplifying his raw body strength.

“Not bad, kid!”

The wild human praised with a rumbling voice, “I am Fu Shan. I respect everyone with courage! You are weak and thin, I assume that you have little to eat but now, I am offering you a meal, are you brave enough to eat a god?”

“Why not?” replied Zhong Yue without even flinching.

Fu Shan smiled ferociously and suddenly, he grabbed towards a god slave, severed his leg off and asked intimidatingly, “Do you like it raw or cooked?”

“Medium raw would be great, it’d be even better if there was still some blood.” smiled Zhong Yue.

Fu Shan then roasted the leg for a moment and handed it over to Zhong Yue, “There you go!”

Zhong Yue took it over and in just a few bites, he swallowed the leg, threw the bones aside and thanked, “Thank you for your generous meal!”

“Good!” shouted Fu Shan, “Now you may go!”

Zhong Yue continued his advance and suddenly, an absurdly muscular woman slammed her halberd onto the ground and smiled, “You! What’s so great about eating a god’s meat, how about a demon’s meat?”

“Sure, why not?” replied Zhong Yue calmly still.

“There you go!”

The woman sliced a pile of meat away from a demon god’s chest, roasted it and threw it to Zhong Yue, which Zhong Yue ate without hesitation. After swallowing the meat, Zhong Yue wiped away the bloodstain around his lips and thanked the woman.

The woman gave Zhong Yue a fierce stare but Zhong Yue did not flinch. After a moment, the woman moved the halberd aside and cleared the path for Zhong Yue.

“Do you drink blood wine?”

A wild human placed a mountain size barrel on the path and said intimidatingly, “This top graded wine here is made of 99 types of demonic blood and 99 types of celestial blood. I even mixed in a few hundred types of demonic and celestial bones into the wine to further enhance the taste. Are you brave enough to drink it?”

“Of course!”

Zhong Yue lifted up the entire barrel and drank the wine right from it. After a moment, Zhong Yue entirely downed the barrel of wine and he spat out some bone pieces and praised, “Nice wine!”

“Hahahaha!”

Fu Li stood up, stepped onto Mu Suge’s back and laughed happily, “Mister Yi is indeed one of us! His courage is admirable! Today, you are our guest and we will not try to intimidate you anymore. You want to buy the third prince back and I will grant you your wish but I need to know how much wealth you’ve brought to ransom him back! You will have what you want as long as I am happy with the ransom!”

Mu Suge looked at Zhong Yue with his hopes all high up; in these three years, he has been through hell and he was dying for the freedom he once had.

“I brought no gold with me.” shocking words came out from Zhong Yue’s mouth.

Right away, Mu Suge’s face turned pale.
