She was shocked and worried to see Damien stumbling inside the warehouse with a bloodied arm.
"Damien, what happened?! How did you get hurt?" Nathasia called out worriedly as she tried to get up, but the chains around her leg restricted her from going anywhere.
"Just...shut up...ughh...my head...." Damien grumbled as he limped towards the sofa and began to mutter as his eyes became drowsy.
Nathasia's expression became grave as she quickly grabbed the chain and focused before the chain became loose around her legs, and she easily freed herself.
She could have done this anytime before, but the only reason she didn't was that she wanted to was that she didn't want to make Damien angry.
She didn't know if Damien was aware of her powers or not else, he would have taken extra measures to make sure she doesn't escape.
She quickly took the first-aid kit and sat down beside Damien only to have him trying to push her away feebly, "Get away….from me...:"
Nathasia bit her lip and said, "You are hurt...let me help you."
"I don't need...anyone's help…" Damien incoherently said, and before he knew it he dozed off.
Nathasia didn't waste this chance and swallowed her fear to check out his arm, only to frown even more upon seeing that a large bullet had lodged inside his arm.
She panicked, not knowing if she could try removing the bullet with just a first-aid kit since she did not have the necessary tools to take out the bullet without causing any accidental damage.
But then she took out a tweezer and focused as she elongated the metal till it was long enough to take out a bullet.
She placed her palm on his arm and was somehow able to sense where the bullet was and took it out using the modified tweezers in her hand.
However, the amount of blood loss he had suffered made her pull at her hair, especially seeing how sickly his face was looking.
She couldn't understand why Damien did nothing to prevent the bleeding or apply pressure on it. She felt that these were things he should have already known.
But she didn't think about it too much as she washed his wound and dressed it.
However, she felt a bit more relieved, seeing that his breathing had gotten better. But she couldn't understand how he even got injured if he was already so powerful.
If he had the power to destroy military headquarters, safehouses, and so on, which were protected by heavy artillery and tanks, how could he get hurt by a single bullet?
She still continued to sit beside him to see if he might face any more discomfort later. But she started feeling drowsy because of trying to experiment with her powers too much.
She still couldn't understand what her powers were, and the first time she realized she had them, she panicked and did everything to make them go away or didn't try to use them at all.
Later on, out of curiosity, she only tried to do small things like changing the shape of a rock with her powers since that was the best she could do.
But lately, after everything that happened, she found out that she could do more than just changing the shape of small things.
Soon she dozed off and had her consciousness slip into happy memories when suddenly a cold voice woke her up, "Why are you sitting here?"
Nathasia got startled and held her breath as she shrunk back towards the corner of the sofa with a defensive pose, "I...I was treating your arm."
Nathasia pointed to his arm, and Damien looked at his arm to see how his wound looked clean and neatly bandaged. He also saw that the bullet had been taken out.

He then looked around to see that the chain he had used to bind her had been tampered with.
His expression became dark, making Nathasia wonder what she did wrong. But he grabbed her collar and pulled her close as he asked, "How did you free yourself? Didn't I give you clear instructions to stay put?"
"I was...only trying to help. Y-You can punish me, but I still won't regret what I did…" Nathasia said with resolute eyes, much to the annoyance of Damien.
He snorted and asked, "You didn't answer how you freed yourself."
"I-I used my powers…" Nathasia said with teary eyes.
Damien didn't get melted by her eyes and instead realized that he never bothered to ask her about her powers in spite of telling her that he let her tag along to use her for her powers.
He felt that his head might be messed up more than he thought, especially his absent-mindedness that always followed after he used his powers.
"What are your powers?" Damien asked in a serious tone.
Nathasia parted her lips to say something but then stopped herself before looking around and took the modified tweezer lying around.
She then focused as the modified tweezer began to change shape into that of a circle, making Damien raise his brows.
"I can do this with any small object or affect a small part of any larger object, like those chains. I made the chains loose around my ankles to let myself free."
"Have you used your powers to free yourself before? To sneak out while I am out and come back before I return?" He asked in a grim tone.
"No, no! Of course, not. Today was the first time I even tried to free myself, and that was to treat your injury since it looked quite serious," Nathasia answered sincerely.
But still feeling his unwelcome gaze, she pointed at the chains and said, "A-And if I did try to free myself before, the chains wouldn't exactly look the same after I tampered with them."
Damien glanced at those chains, and indeed a certain part of the chain looked different, but then he was in no shape to observe anything for the past few days.
So, he couldn't tell if she did try to escape or not before and felt it quite frustrating. But at the same knowing that she did to help him made him feel a prick in his consciousness, stopping him from doing anything rash.
"Do you know Merlin Tan?"
Damien's sudden question took Nathasia by surprise, but she answered, "Isn't he the one...who found the organization for heroes a dozen years ago?
"Good. Then you know whom to kill now," Damien said with a dark smile.
"Kill? B-But what did he do?" Nathasia gulped, wondering why Damien wanted her to kill this man out of nowhere.
"That's none of your business, or have you forgotten that you will obey exactly as I say? This is your chance to prove your worth. If you fail, I dispose of you, but if you succeed, then you get to stay," Damien sternly said as he let go of her collar and got up.
Nathasia felt her heart thudding against her chest since she had never thought of killing anyone with her own hands. But she gritted her teeth and nodded before asking, "B-But my powers…"
Damien turned around and said, "I will make sure that you can do more than just bending some tweezers."
