"Madam, we're landing."
A private jet touched down at a private runway, just beside Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport.
"Is the car ready?" a smooth, silky, soprano voice asked in English.
It was a woman, twenty seven years old. Her jet black hair was tied up in a chignon bun. Expensive gold dangles hung from her ears. A hugged her hourglass body, contrasting her vanilla skin. Black, five inch, leather stilettos covered her long and narrow feet. A lapis lazuli necklace circled around her collarbones. Chanel sunglasses covered her eyes, masking her face well.
"Yes, Madam."
Inside the private jet were six men, bodyguards, and the one woman.
The woman turned her head, dark brown, intelligent eyes blinked. "Good."
She stood and gathered her Chanel purse. Exiting the plane, she started down the stairs and stepped foot onto the tarmac. One of the bodyguards collected her suitcase from the underbody storage and brought it over to her.
The woman headed for the all black car, a Mercedes van. After putting the red suitcase in the trunk of the vehicle, she climbed inside. Her bodyguards, all dressed in black pants, black shirts, black shoes, and black bullet-proof vests, climbed in as well. With the fully tinted windows, she was safe from being seen. So, she took off her Chanel sunglasses and laid them in her lap.
"Madam, to Paradise Headquarters?" the driver asked.
The second young lady of the infamous Luo group in Shenzhen, in all of China, Luo Xueli罗雪丽, luó xuělì – beautiful as snow, nodded and leaned back in her seat.
"That's right, Antoine. And from now on, speak only Mandarin. We want to accommodate people here and be courteous."
"Yes, Madam," all the bodyguards echoed in Mandarin.
They drove away from the airport and soon merged into bumper-to-bumper traffic on the highway. She groaned.
"I forgot how back the traffic is here. I guess I've gotten too used to Paris."
"Madam, are there any sides streets we could take? Is there any way we can get to Paradise Headquarters without getting stuck in this traffic? We know you're wishing to return, and Boss ordered us to stay with you and help you."
She shook her head. "It'll be even slower to take those. Don't bother. It's eighteen fifteen, right in the middle of rush hour. We just have to sit and wait. And as for who you'll listen to... as long as you're here in China with me, you listen to my words. My family has influence and power in this country. Alessandro has no status here, so his words do not either. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Madam," they all acknowledged.

About half an hour later, she was putting on her sunglasses and walking inside the headquarters to the biggest and most-renowned watch company in China with her six men in tow. She barged right in, ignoring the security, and made her way to the elevators. Her long and slender index finger pressed the up button.
Luo Xueli waited impatiently for the box to reach the ground floor. When the bell dinged and the doors opened, she and her group glided inside and pressed the button for the thirty third floor, a floor reserved for business meetings between the highest ranking people in the company and leaders of other companies. No normal employee was allowed on the top floor.
When the elevator dinged again, and the doors opened, they stepped out. Walking to the check-in desk, Luo Xueli left her luggage with the receptionist, who also worked as the CEO's personal secretary.
"Excuse me, Ma'am," the receptionist began. "But you and these men can't be on this floor. I don't know who you are, but only the CEO, CFO, President, Vice President, and partners in the company can be on this floor. As the CEO's personal secretary, I have the authority to call security and have you all removed from the building."
"Ch, ch, ch, Zuo Duanshu左端淑, zuǒ duānshū – elegant. You dare to throw me out? Let me see you try!"
Luo Xueli took off her sunglasses and stuffed them into her purse. She leveled the other woman with a cold glare. Zuo Duanshu couldn't believe her eyes.
Is it really-? How can this be? I- is the woman standing before me really the bookworm, the nerd, the quiet and submissive Second Young Lady Luo?
"Zuo Duanshu, do you not recognize me after six years of being away?"
"S- Second Young Lady Luo?"
She scoffed. "Took you long enough. Who's in the conference room right now?"
"The CEO, CFO, President, Vice President, the partners, and your jiejie, Luo Xuehe罗雪荷, luó xuěhé – snow lotus. They're deciding on whether or not to name her as CEO."
Luo Xueli's eyes narrowed. How dare they? After all I've worked and suffered for... I won't let my sister take everything from me again.
She spun on her heels and turned towards the conference room. Storming forward, she barged in, ignoring Zuo Duanshu's cries of dismay. The people inside turned and gaped at her and her six men.
"Who are you?!" they demanded.
She snorted, "After six years, have I been forgotten? After six years, can my own family not recognize me? After six years, why did I bother to come back then?"
The current CEO of Paradise, and the head of the Luo group, Luo Jiahuang家煌, luó jiāhuáng – bring glory to the family, peered at her closer.
His eyes widened as he gasped, "X- Xueli? Is that you?"
