"Death...it's coming...death...it's coming...we are doomed...all of us...everyone will die...and there's no escape...!" The old lady muttered while walking through the city streets in a currently unknown city.

...

...

...

A couple of minutes had passed.

It had been merely a couple of minutes since entering this mysterious place.

In this mere two minutes, as the strongest of the group, Asmodeus realized something that caused someone like even her, to cringe.

"It seems that we've found ourselves in quite the problem." She said. Her eyes did not leave the view of the landscape below, as the group members behind her also stared at the landscape, home to many creatures that they have never seen in their life.

Standing at the highest point of a rocky mountain, Asmodeus proclaimed.

"Time is being manipulated.

It seems that time moves quicker here than on the outside.

By the time we exit this place, many things may have changed in that world...

But, more importantly, would we even be able to leave without any unforeseen events."

Her grim expression was caused by the scene that was being displayed in front of her eyes.

The lands that spat flames, and the creatures that shot beams of destruction toward each other.

It was majestic, but downright frightening scene from the depths of the Abyss.

The creatures that could be passed as demons had red skin and even though they had humanoid bodies, their teeth were jagged and they had demonic tails, long claws, blood trickling down their faces from their eyes, and a wide crazed smile was ever present on their faces.

...

...

...

"The Little One Has Awakened..."

With a pair of blood-red eyes surrounded by an infinitely black sclera, he peered into the very white walls of this realm that spanned infinitely.

There wasn't anything present in this white space, besides massive and tall obsidian pillars, and the shadows of entities who sat on the highest point of these pillars.

The entity who spoke, seemed as if his eyes could peer past even these walls and outside of this infinite realm!

"Yes...

Even Though Sealed, Eldest Brother Was Still Able To Get The Little One That System We Created.

Truly, Eldest Brother Is The Strongest!"

Unlike the previous figure, this one released a palpating and utterly evil aura that would send shivers to any lifeform.

His eyes were also blood red, as they darted toward the person sitting on a pillar furthest from him.

"You Shouldn't Look Soo Worried.

We Will Eventually Get Our Revenge And Save Eldest. But First, We Must Keep The Little One Hidden From The Eyes Of Our Enemies, So He Could Acquire Enough Time To Grow.

Plus, It Isn't As If Eldest Can Be Killed By Those Arrogant Fools...!"

His words powerfully resonated within the white infinite space, causing explosions and for spider cracks to appear in the very fabrics of space, by merely, his voice!

"Yeah, Second Eldest Is Correct. It Is Shameful For A Member Of Our Race To Act Like A Helpless Mortal..."

The first to speak, once more spoke as he berated the entity sitting on the pillar closest to him.

The other entities sitting on the other four pillars remained quiet as the figure who was being berated only gazed at the two pillars which were vacant.

His golden eyes released beams of mysterious light...

...

...

...

"Even though you're not aware of my existence, congratulations on awakening a bloodline that will forever change your destiny..." In the darkness of space located in an unknown realm, the voice of a completely unknown entity ringed throughout.

"This might be the last time I will be able to help you though before those bastards find out, and possibly find you too...!" As he said this...

His red eyes shot grandiose beams of light, brightening up his surroundings in but a mere split second. And it was in this split second that one would be able to see his surroundings.

As bolts of black lightning that completely transcended sound landed on his body without making any noise, he remained unflinching while being tied to a tall beam that was decorated with exquisite drawings of mythical animals such as phoenixes and dragons!

From his eyes, a beam of red light shout out as space was twisted.

This red beam seemingly disappeared...

...

...

...

The green sun remained floating in the void of space. Orbiting around it were multiple celestial bodies that were many light years apart from one another.

One of these natural planetary-sized objects of the universe was the planet on which Blade was located.

Suddenly, outside the atmosphere of Blade's planet, the space twisted as a crack appeared, and a beam of red light shot out of it, quickly zooming across space and into the atmosphere of the planet.

It moved soo quickly that no one was able to sense this beam...

They had no chance to ward it off even if they were able to sense it anyway!

The cave's mouth was a few meters wide, and the roof was another few meters tall. It was impossible to see any deeper into the cave, due to how dark it was.

But it all changed when a blinding red beam of light descended in a flash from the skies and shot into the cave.

It quickly disappeared into the depths of the cave an instant after appearing. The forestry located in the surroundings of the cave remained unchanged, and filled with unaware animals playing around with one another...

...

...

...

Some tens of kilometers away from the cave, one can see the campsite littered with dead bodies piled up on one another inside of a deep pit.

Outside the pit, Blade's figure could be seen as he threw pieces of wood that were already burning from fire.

Throwing the last piece of wood onto the bodies of the bandits, he turned his focus away as he began approaching the camp which was previously used by Zale.

Speaking of Zale, one can see his figure lying on top of the dead body of Alexandria as they both were left burning in the flames along with their bandit comrades...

It was a funny sight.

Even though Alexandria was the disciple of Adrian.

Even though, Alexandria was one of the three scouted individuals by the great Cosmic Punisher individuals...

Here was her body burning in flames as her soul would also burn in flames, which would be many times much hotter than these.

And then there was Zale.

Even though he was the leader and he was greatly feared and admired by his subordinates.

It didn't change anything as he was stuck on the same level as the people who once listened to his every command.

Entering the camp, he saw the figure of Dolion walking toward him with a bowl filled to the brim with white liquid.

"Do you want?" Dolion said with a red hue on his face.

"What is it...?

Hmm, it smells like porridge.

Since you're sick, you should worry about yourself first.

I simply came for this.." Blade said while picking up a black pair of gloves and putting it on.

Leaving the tent, Blade then approached the location of the river, where many bodies were present still floating down the river stream.

"Even though he ate the Healing Pill, he's still sick... Why is it like this?" Blade uttered out loud while his system replied in its usual robotic voice.

{While you were unconscious many things happened. Maybe one of those things is still affecting this creature's body. After all, even back in your home world, simply because one is vaccinated, doesn't mean that one wouldn't get the disease}

Hearing his words, Blade replied, "And, what did happen when I was unconscious?!"

{It isn't my place to speak about it. Let's just say, the creature Dolion isn't what it appears to be...}

Tsk!

Blade clicked his tongue in annoyance.

His movements came to a halt as he appeared at his destination.

In front of him was a shovel stuck to the dirt ground. Grabbing it, he then walked toward the water and dragged out three bodies.

One was the body of a certain female who was the mother of a boy who Blade had met in the city.

The other being Athena's corpse, and finally Brittany.

He threw them to the side, as he began digging with the shovel, into the ground.

...

...

...

"Even though I don't know you, your son was an innocent child that saw many things he shouldn't have at his age. For that, I'm truly sorry that I didn't make it in time to save him.

Well, even if I did, I would not be able to save him since at that time I was too weak..."

His ink-black pupils surrounded by an even dark shade of black iris showed no emotion and were unnaturally hollow, while he said these words to the body that was six feet under the earth.

Moving to the last grave, he said emotionlessly once more.

"Brittany, I'm only doing this because we were teammates... and you were a good girl who didn't deserve this."

At the final grave, he said,

"Athena, you were honest, brave, and very annoying, but I know you meant good for your friends.

Your braveness was proven when risking your life to chase after Brittany who was blinded by anger.

But sometimes...

Braveness turns to stupidity, and you were incredibly stupid, without even realizing...!"

He said, before turning around and walking toward the camp once more.
