Chapter 2: Chapter 1 – The Evergreen Village

There is a village called evergreen because the people who reside in the village are the evergreen clan, which is guarded by the robust men of the village against the ferocious magical beasts. The village is peaceful and joyful, the children were playing merrily, and adults and children were practising to increase their cultivation.
Only one child was sitting lousy without any intention to get up from the place, his name is Xia Feng who is a 12-year-old boy at body amendment (1st stage of cultivation of this world)
Xia Feng could not stand against the advice of an old man, so he arose from his place to cultivate with other children,
The children were cultivated under a magical tree which constantly fills the environment with its essence, nourishing and cleansing the blood of the children's bodies.
The village chief is teaching the technique moves against the ferocious beasts by using only the hands and legs to display the defensive technique, many children are astonished to see the scene the power is so terrifying that nearby magical bushes wilted and disappeared
Xia Feng sat with the other children and learned the techniques
Xia Feng started to comprehend a scripture that he found in the forbidden parts of the green woodland forest which is near the evergreen village,
He didn’t tell anyone about this mysterious scripture but he couldn’t
understand any symbol present in this scripture finally after two whole days he started to understand the symbols, his parents were shocked by their son who has no interest in cultivation suddenly interested in cultivation so they started to prepare his favourite food beef as an appreciation
Meanwhile, Xia Feng finished comprehending the scripture he can sense a change in his body that his flesh and bones became sturdy enough to lift a large boulder also his spirit become stronger, At last, he found the name of the scripture it is “intensify mortal” he was shocked by the name of this scripture because it is not very famous but it had more benefits for the people who comprehend
Xia Feng went to the village chief Gu Yu to gain more knowledge of this “intensify mortal” scripture.
The village chief Gu Yu was shocked by this scripture because it resembled their ancestral techniques then he asked “what is your name and where did you find this scripture?” in a gentle voice, yet Xia Feng was aware and kept his guard on, in a kind and respectful voice he replied “ I am Xia Feng, I found it near bushes "
“Found it near bushes? ” the chief asked “ Xia Feng speaks the truth only” Xia said, “very well come to me in the morning after sunrise”, the chief replied and strode to his home.
Xia Feng was afraid that the village chief Gu Yu had found the truth about where he found that scripture and he was deep in his thoughts as he reached his home. Xia Feng's mother Li Fei warmly welcomed and served his favourite food, and Xia Feng's mood immediately brightened.
And started to dig into his favourite dish shallow fry beef with some particular vegetables he liked and he slept soundly after having his dinner.

Xia Feng woke early in the morning to meet the village chief Gu Yu, he was still sleepy but the scripture started to glow as he was near the chief. The chief was astonished “ the lost forbidden technique of our clan seems to be found b this boy” and he asked Xia Feng” did you cultivate this technique”, “no chief Xia didn't cultivate” he replied. Gu Yu replied “good because this is a forbidden technique don’t you try to cultivate this however keep this scripture, you may need this in future” he left Xia Feng and he thought “just to hear 2 or 3 phrases of advice I have to wake early what a waste anyways this is a forbidden technique of our clan am I lucky or unlucky to obtain this technique “ he wondered and went to his house, slept again

Xia Feng again woke up at 9oclock ate food and head out towards his cultivation area he wanted to if there are any after-effects of that scripture luckily there were none. Then, he started to read some mythological stories which always fascinated him. Someday that he can be one of the immortal beings who can create or destroy universes with a swing of a hand but he hated hard work, he is a lazy person and a bookworm.
Xia Feng started to read anything related to “learning forbidden technique” the information was shocking, “if one cultivates forbidden technique they will meet unfortunate end ” or “ there is a low chance to obtain benefits from it” this made him afraid, he closed the story books and started to devour the essence of the universe and tried to comprehend the advanced form of the forbidden technique but received a backlash of heaven because of the forbidden technique and again he tried to comprehend the forbidden technique although he received a backlash again, he endured through it and fully comprehended the advanced form
He suffered many injuries as he comprehend he strengthened his body and started to devour the essence around him to heal his injuries. Xia Feng was shocked because of his progress he reached the mid-form of the first stage. even villagers were shocked by his progress in three days of seclusion he reached the mid-stage.
However, his body could not withstand a sudden growth, it started to crack and released weird sounds, he entered into seclusion o make his body much sturdier and imperishable
He headed out from his seclusion, he naturally felt that his body became stronger and got blessings from his clan masters and parent
Suddenly, the World horn howled the power was so terrifying that the heavens trembled. The immortals were alarmed and were summoned to discuss the matter. Younger generations started to shiver in fear however the older generation did not fear. Immortals advised the younger generation to stay calm. When the world horn howled, after so many decades only a threat will come to this mortal world. However, they asked the younger generation not to be lazy.
Evergreen clan superiors lectured the younger generation but Xia Feng escaped from their lecture and started to cultivate because he wanted to be powerful to protect his clan. At dusk, he returned to his home. He started to read some stories of fallen immortals he wanted to know how bad his future could be. After he ate his dinner he slept.
The morning was beautiful in the evergreen village, birds were chirping happily, and even the older generation were laughing and chatting. Xia Feng happily ate his food and started to cultivate he whispered the holy scriptures to cleanse and strengthen his body, he wanted to reach the peak of this stage. Xia Feng aims to be powerful enough to lift the giant boulder in the village but only those mortals at the peak of 2nd stage can lift it.
Xia Feng cultivated his body and his spirit for days, he tried to lift the giant boulder every day yet he could not move it. On the first day, he was able to move 1 inch and on the second day, he was able to move 2 inches, many times the villagers mocked him as a tortoise because he was still slow compared to his generation who were at peak of the first stage and senior generation scolded him for being lazy but Xia Feng endured it.

After one month he successfully lifted the giant boulder without reaching the 2nd stage, finally, he had reached the peak of the body amendment stage the older generation were amazed by his progress and they felt ashamed. It was astonishing Xia Feng walked toward villagers bravely and majestically. His generation was jealous because he reached the 2nd realm at just a young age, he was strong as a village guardian but compared to the whole mortal domain he is a normal cultivator. He wanted to be a giant dragon who can protect the world from any evilness.
Xia Feng returned to his home his mother warmly hugged him. His mother and father congratulated him.
His friend Yun sheng came to praise him “ you are a legend, my dear friend”. Xia Feng replied, “stop this nonsense Yun”.
Yun Sheng asked, “why a sudden interest in cultivation Xia ?”

Xia Feng replied “Yun how many years do you think the world will be peaceful, even the world horn has howled. There are only 20,000 or 50,000 years left for the mortal domain to enter into chaos. Even immortals can’t find destroy the dark force ”
Yun sheng said “okay my friend, I will cultivate with very hard my friend so together we can destroy the evil forces of the world"
Xia Feng thought "what a daydreamer"
