Chapter 1: The Devil’s Game 1.1

There is a legend about a game of the devil. A game hacked by the devil. It could be any game disguised as the actual game, but if you start playing it. You can only stop by winning... or losing. In either case the one playing would vanish, never to be seen again.

I had heard about this rumor too, at the time I thought it was all bullshit. Who wouldn't?

Until I played a gacha game I randomly loaded based on RWBY.

As I started the game using the first hour making a character for myself. The thing which especially attracted me to this game was the wide variety of customization you could do to your character.

First I set the characters gender as female, because it's more fun to customize female characters. Set the height to 5'3", same as Weiss.

Hair color white at base and pink the longer it grows. Eyes beautiful pink color, breast size moderate. Face, small and beautiful with small nose and thin pink lips. I customized the legs long and slender, frame thin. Skin color, lets go with pale, not that the tan would have looked bad.

I looked at the character I had created seeing it was to my liking. Okay, now to set age and name.

It doesn't matter what age you choose for the character so I set it as 10 000 years old.

As for name. I wanted to follow the color coding rules set by Monty Oum. Which means it had to be color, sound like a color, mean a color or make people think of a color.

Well something to do with pink. Sakura comes to mind first, but it's a little boring. Can't think anything else... I shall just go with google search. Primrose it is.

No last name, god bless me for trying to think anymore names.

As I completed the character I had a sudden pop up.

'Welcome gift +1 spin on Gacha.'

I wanted to start the game, but it's free?

I accepted and soon the background changed to a gate standing on top of clouds. 'Enter Gacha?'

I blinked at the double confirmation, but clicked yes anyway.

Slowly the golden gates with numerous writings started to open with lot of light coming out.

A golden lucky wheel and one token beside it.

I clicked the wheel making it spin as the token number changed to zero.

'Congratulations you won'

I waited for a while, but no notification of what I won was declared.

"Did it bug?" as I muttered the Golden wheel started to turn red the white clouds started to turn dark as if storm was coming. A sudden flash and sound of lightning was heard from my phone.

I was in a white room sitting on chair like before... it was not in the same room.

Why... the wallpaper is little different. The floor is now from real brown wood and not imitation.

"How..." ?!

My voice. "Hello." It was clear and high like females, not like my usual low voice.

My hands were different and WHAT THE STRAWBERRY?! I had really long hair! It's pink too!

I stood up with haste and walked to the lone window in the room moving white curtains aside to see outside.

A foreigner world. A street full of cars and grey multilayer buildings across me. Is that not bullhead. A familiar plane used in RWBY to move in air was hovering in air not too far away. I saw railway stretching above buildings, a giant castle like structure on a hill far away. I was in Vale.

"What happened to me?" The unfamiliar female voice came out.

I looked closer to the window seeing a girl looking back on the reflection. The girl being eerily similar to the character I just made... in a game...  My phone.

I walked to the table sitting back down noting that even the table was sturdier and made from different brown wood.

I touched... this is not my phone? My white smartphone had turned into slimmer and wider version with pink diamond at the right side and at the back of it. Its a scroll!

A device used on Rwby verse similar to a smartphone, but with additional capabilities such as reading users aura someway?

It had only single app named Gacha. I clicked it. Soon the familiar golden wheel and a token counter at zero. The game had vanished, leaving only the gacha. I saw a buy tokens option on the left side which had been greyed out before.

'Buy gacha token: 100 FP'

... I had 0 FP on the coin icon.

"So what am I supposed to do now?"
