Chapter 19: Atlas I have arrived… 1.19

Hahaha... I let out a hollow laugh while looking out of the bullhead. The Vale was getting smaller and smaller as the civilian transport bullhead I was on board, left the ground.

Inside the bullhead was like a lounge with white sofas and large windows where you could look outside. There is lot of space in middle and people were walking casually or just sitting on the sofas. Nothing here screamed about safety regulations...

To be honest I didn't care. If it drops we are dead anyway most likely. So I appreciate the comfortable environment more than...

Lets say the plane is full of seats and someone is kicking your seat from behind and another one is trying to adjust his/her seat over you from front... a nightmare.

I much more prefer this casual, but luxurious style of flight.

I looked outside once again while standing beside one of the large windows.

Ohh.. there is Vale Hotel... goodbye. In the distance I could see large castle like structure. That must be Beacon...

"Yawn..." No wonder the bullhead left at 6 a.m...

I just got this information when I boarded the bullhead.

That the distance between Vale and Atlas...

...was Over 2000 Miles... and this flight takes about 9 hours... it goes about 250 miles per hour? I don't know... I'm bored.

Good thing I got this day free from work and it's weekend tomorrow. I would have never gotten back to work on time otherwise tomorrow.

For now... I should read the weapon smith's books Coco gave for me. I already have an idea what kind of weapon I want to make. Just need to learn how to make it.

I gave one last look outside the window seeing only clouds.

"Yawn..." I covered my mouth for a moment before walking to a free seat. 'How to make foldable metal parts for weapons, 3rd edition' I looked at the book cover for a moment before starting to read from the middle of it.

My scroll made a sound as soon as I stepped out to the Atlas Bullhead port. Docking bay... something like that.

Did I mention that the friggin island was floating in air?!

Like the city of Atlas was actually floating above another city called Mantle. Some kind of white lines connected from the lower city to the bottom of the floating island. Some kind of elevators? or maybe they are like anchors keeping it in place.

I smiled before remembering my scroll.

Why! This gacha makes no sense...

Not that I'm complaining or anything... I just wish to know how I'm actually getting this fate points. It almost seems like completely random, most of the time at least.

Maybe it's just broken? I shook the scroll in my hand while walking forward soon seeing someone coming towards me.

"Hello, You must be Miss Primrose." A woman in her late twenties with greenish blue hair swept to right side and black coal like eyes. She looked cool and beautiful. She was little taller than me wearing black womens business suit with short neat black skirt and black stockings.

"Yes, It's nice to meet you miss?" I tilted my head little while smiling.

The woman smiled before offering her hand which I took. "My name is Mint Reyes." I shook hands with the cool lady while smiling... I want to use the token...

"I will be hosting you on the request of Mrs Mavis. I will be organizing your stay here and the time before Miss Schnee's concert begins. We will go to the hotel first. If you would follow me Miss Primrose." Mint let go of my hand and pointed towards a car not too far from us. The white luxurious looking car had a man wearing all black standing before it.

I soon sat on the car with Mint sitting right beside me calmly looking towards front. I can't use gacha with her so close to me... or can I.

I turned little sideways from Mint making her turn to me. I just pointed my white scroll to the green haired woman who smiled and nodded before turning back.

I also checked that my scroll was covered from backside by my hand... because you know... It's kind of like hologram technology you can touch, so the backside was reflection of the front side.

'Use 1 token (Mystery Grade)?'

I clicked it seeing the ever so hatewonderful golden wheel spinning and spinning.

The mesmerizing chests with glittering and shiny different colors made me unconsciously grin.

One after another they went past my screen... I even saw a chest with deep red color and mysterious sparkles around it easily two times larger than regular chests spinning by...

I want it.

I really really want them all.

Soon the Spinning got slower and slower going by two empty spots that made my heartbeat accelerate.

'Congratulations! You won a treasure chest!'

I smiled looking at the mysterious blue chest with silver glow around it.

"Something good, Miss Primrose?" I turned my head seeing two black eyes looking at me with little amusement.

"Yes something good." I nodded while clicking the chest open secretly.

"Hmm..." Mint made a cute thinking sound, but I was looking at the trembling blue chest which burst open with blue puff of smoke.

'Congratulations you got Magic artifact ticket!'

What?

I want to take it out to get more information... but. I looked at the woman beside me secretly paying attention to me.

Haahh... maybe later.
