Chapter 48: A test of heiress 1.48

I was currently in a control room of some sort?

After the Mustache dude left... haha. I had a hard time not laughing while remembering a rumor about his tie.

The whole meeting went almost over my head not asking him directly...

"Miss Primrose you may come to sit over here." The secretary of SDC spoke while pulling a chair near a see through glass for me to sit on.

"Thank you." I nodded at the older woman within business suit. I have never seen a woman like this before.

Is this what a mean business lady who gets older is like? I could read nothing from her polite expression that seemed like an old tree that someone had carved a small smile on.

"Let the training begin." The old woman spoke to  a man sitting further away from me. The man was wearing a black business suit and had face like an old soldier. There was a control panel with various buttons and other indicators before him.

"Is this the place Miss Schnee usually practice?" I spoke while looking down from the window. A bright white hall without a single door. The window I was looking from was situated high above the floor near ceiling.

A door opened suddenly from the side of the hall and a familiar girl walked out with steel in her eyes. Weiss had brought her rapier... can't remember its name.

"This is the practice room the president has build for training." The old woman looked down at Weiss and gave a look at the man before the control panel.

A click was heard and a noise of quiet static sound appeared for couple of seconds.

"Are you ready for a little warm up Miss Schnee." The woman spoke while looking down at the white haired girl below.

"It doesn't matter what you try I will show that I'm ready." I heard Weiss voice as if she was right before us?

"Very well. Let us begin with three Ak-130 knights. Do it." The secretary spoke to the man who pressed buttons.

The door Weiss came in closed and a new door opened. Three dark-grey metal robots walked from the dark door with bright red eye visors in place of eyes and a V mark shining red on their metal chests.

Ohh... I watched in wonder at the real battle robots walking towards weiss in a triangle spearhead formation.

Wait a minute am I really just here to watch Weiss training? Not that I mind as it's interesting. Also the one chance the mustache spoke about.. Weiss should clear it easily to go to beacon? Something just doesn't feel right in this...

The droids lifted their hands towards Weiss who was already in a battle stance.

The first droid started to run towards Weiss a metallic sword suddenly appearing from its arm.

The other two droids didn't move yet as Weiss sprinted towards the first droid.

The droid lifted its arm to slash Weiss, but at the same time the white haired girl was already raining the torso of the robot with multiple rapid strikes.

Series of sound of metal being pierced before the robot dropped to its knees. Weiss looked at the two droids who by at this point both lifted their hands. Something seemed to be revolving on them.

Weiss seemed to know what was coming as she abruptly jumped up over a volley of rounds being shot from the droids.

The droids changed their aim to follow the girl in air.

I almost stood up seeing my friend getting cornered before seeing her step on empty air... and accelerate to side, still in air.

The scene after turned into a one sided slaughter as weiss pierced both of the robots glowing visors in couple of flashes of white.

Weiss is really not a bad fighter... although her amount of aura and stamina is... well. Anyway as long as it's normal mob she should have no problems to handle them.

"Splendidly done Miss Schnee, as expected ot the Schnee Heiress you possess much talent." The secretary clapped while speaking towards the white haired girl standing over the motionless robots.

"Is this enough? Tell my father that I will be attending the Beacon academy then." Weiss had a cold look on her face while speaking below. I didn't like to see her like this.

"Why do you wish to go so far away? The president is just concerned for you. Here we can help you immediately if something happens, but in Vale it's not so simple." The old woman spoke like Weiss was a small child.

"It's because it's far away that I want to go there." Weiss spoke while turning towards us.

"I understand your concern, being born in family of prestige and power, but why would you want to run there?" The old woman spoke and I was looking between both of them wondering why am I here?

"It seems you can't understand anything at all. A will-less puppet after all..." The eyes of the girl below resembled ice for a moment. So blank was the voice she used while speaking to the old woman.

"It seems you also have a talent for irritating people." The old woman spoke without smiling. Also blankly staring at the heiress below.

"Why thank you. It seems you actually have the ability to sense irritation, I'm happy for you." Weiss spoke while spreading her hands. While I was looking at her mocking voice and cold expression, I had to cover my mouth with my hand, to stop the others from seeing my grin.

Oh Weiss...

It's actually funny to be friend of a person who can be like a bitch as long as she wasn't one towards you... Of course being a mean was a no, no.

I would slap her butt if she did it without reason, maybe I will in future?

"Do it." I turned hearing the old woman speak in cold voice.

The man seemed to hesitate, while looking at the secretary for further confirmation.

"It's fine... we have the president's permission."

The secretary looked coldly at Weiss below.

Weiss walked confidently towards the opening door.

*Swooosh!*

"Weiss!" I stood up.

A giant sword, easily five times of the size of Weiss slashed to ground just beside the white haired girl.

"Eh.." Weiss muttered.
