Chapter 82: Bullhead mode 1.82

I woke up feeling happy.

 

The bed seemed just right. Not too hot, yet still warm and comfortable enough to make me wish to never wake up...  eternally sleeping.

 

I got up feeling discomfort from the sudden thought... scary.

 

"Uuuuu..." I let out a sound while stretching my arms.

 

Weapon... yes.

 

I slowly got up.

 

"Shower... shower." I muttered while walking towards the bathroom...

I had walked outside of the hotel after getting ready. The sun had already risen indicating I had slept longer than I was planning... Well I did stay up pretty late...

 

Rather wasn't it almost morning I went to sleep?

 

While wallowing in my thoughts.

 

I saw something approaching me fast from right.

 

I stepped away from a kid speeding past me on a black bicycle...

 

Carefully now...

Where was that place again... with the girl.

I can't remember.

 

I took my scroll out from my right hoodie pocket. I was wearing an oversized black hoodie and white tight jeans today... casual is the best after all. I especially liked the white combat boots I had.

 

... At some point I had started spending so much on clothes... weird. My suit seemed to be getting new clothes one after another... I didn't even know where to put them all.

 

I clicked the pink diamond and stretched the scroll open. Soon seeing the light screen open to the usual main screen.

 

'5 New messages!'

 

Uhhh...

 

All messages inside seemed to have come from Weiss.

 

...

 

The clock was '3:24PM'...

 

Great!

 

I mean not!

 

No wonder I felt like dying from hunger!

 

I had felt discomfort from my stomach for a while now.

I started walking towards a cafe I had gotten used to eating breakfast... Not that they would have that this late. I remembered the open lunch table they had from seven to eleven.

 

Some fruits and... and heated toast could be good too? And coffee of course...

I clicked the first message from Weiss open. I was currently walking across the street, along with some other people.

 

'Sender: Weiss Schnee

 

Primrose what exactly happened yesterday! Answer my calls!'

 

Calls?

 

I didn't get any though?

 

I felt glad Weiss seemed to be okay.

 

After looking at my scroll settings I noticed the 'Bullhead mode'. All calls coming went ignored and only messages went through muted.

 

Uhhh... I did indeed recall putting it on when I was half asleep.

 

Why did I do that again?

 

I looked at the other messages.

 

'Sender: Weiss Schnee

 

Are you deliberately ignoring me?! Primrose I just had a call with my sister. She mentioned talking to you last night? We have to speak of what happened. Call me as soon as you see this.'

 

Umm... Winter. I don't think my reply qualifies as us having a talk.

Prim, I might have sounded harsh, but I want you to know I only wish for us to converse about what happened like adults. So please answer my calls.'

 

I'm starting to feel bad for Weiss...

Primrose it seems like you are not currently using your Scroll. Which I have to say is really irresponsible in this day and age. You need to be more aware of the danger of not having a scroll with you at all times...'

 

The message went on for a while... Seriously, Weiss.

 

I looked at the latest message.

I'm going to your hotel.'

 

The last message was sent fifteen minutes ago.

 

Did I ever tell Weiss where I was staying? I probably did.

I stepped inside the cafe hearing a ring of a bell over the door I opened.

 

There were a couple people inside occupying two tables.

 

A young faunus man with brown lizard scales on cheeks looking at a scroll while drinking juice.

 

Two young girls in a school uniform of some sort.

 

And at the corner table. I saw a girl with short dark red hair. She was eating cookies and looking outside the windows to the street. For some reason she was fidgeting slightly... Was she nervous? excited?
