Lucas stretched his limbs and stood up. Looking at the surrounding, it feels like it wasn't months for him. Well, of course, he was sleeping that in his perspective it was merely a blink.
He sighed and assisted Felicity to stand. With her ragged clothes quite disturbing to see, Lucas took out a robe from his storage magic.
Felicity witnessing it widened her eyes in surprise. She froze and stared at him with denying eyes. What just Lucas did was not supposed a feat for those who have a lower cultivation base.
"L-Lucas, can I ask what cultivation base you're at right now?" She asked in case her eyes were just playing with her or it just degenerated after being reset to a lower cultivation base.
Lucas realized that she just showed something that he should not. Being careless in his deed, he slapped his forehead in disappointment.
"It's 3rd level of Warrior Spirit Realm. W-Why do you ask?" Lucas asked while his eyes can't maintain eye contact with her.
Felicity was speechless for a moment.
"Did you just use mystical arts? How can you do it when you're currently at Warrior Spirit Realm?" She asked.
'Mystical arts? That's what they call something like magic? I guess I was wrong that mages and cultivators have different matters. It was just mages don't practice martial arts while cultivators do and have mystical arts too.' He thought.
Lucas averted his eyes and spoke, "I already told you, I am not also from here. I'm not normal you know."
Felicity stared at him for a second and nodded afterward.
"Then it explains your mystical aura. Sorry for asking." She said and continued after. "So where should we go now? Thanks for the clothes by the way."
Lucas thought for a second. He really didn't think where they should go first. In fact, he doesn't have any plans.
He just looked at her and smiled. "Then how about I let you decide. I kind of going with the flow. I don't have a plan actually." He said, making Felicity gasp.
"I guess you are one of a slacking rogue cultivator. May I ask when did you start cultivating so that I could think of what you should do right now? It's my responsibility anyway since I said that I will help you to ascend."
"Hm… It was a month and a week I guess…" He mumbled.
A crease emerged from Felicity's brow, calculating the progress Lucas had. However, when she realized that something was wrong, she afterward gasped again with her eyes gawking at him.
"No way… That fast? Don't tell me you're lying."
Lucas's lips pointed while his chest forwards. "I guess that what you call a talent?" Lucas said acting unaware.
However, deep inside, he knows the reason for it.
'Crazy as heck but it was because of my absorption body. Everything that I reached and attained back in my world is strikingly working normally!' He thought with a burning excitement in his chest.
"That's… amazing!" She said while deep inside, she was feeling inferior in front of Lucas revealing his talents.
'It even took me months to reach the peak, but he just casually said that it took him a month and a week? Forget about the month, he was sleeping near me so it just took him a week!'
Lucas raised his eyebrow looking at Felicity who had the blank expression of someone who was in deep thoughts. He waved his hand in front of her and snapped.
"Hey! Are you okay?" He asked.
"Hm?... Ah! Yes, I am!" She flinched. "Then, let's try to have a source of resources first. Monsters in this area are at least near the peak of the Apprentice stage and they won't benefit your cultivation base. That's trash for you right now."
It was like a struck of lightning for him. Did he just waste his efforts for pebbles? That's a joke right?
While in disbelief, he asked Felicity, "Then… it would be just all for nothing? I kind of did some effort in collecting this. What should I do with this 'trash'?"
"Though it is trash for your cultivation, we can sell it in shops in exchange for small coins. I think you still don't have a martial technique in your system so we will buy one or I will teach you."
"What cultivation base are you right now? Why can you feel that I don't have martial technique?"
"Well, I'm currently at the peak of Emperor Spirit Realm. That's the least I can reach by reducing my cultivation base."
Lucas was speechless by her revelation. She is at least the strongest cultivator in the Mortal Realm. Or she's the most expert of experts in this realm as she had unending knowledge.
"Well, if you are at Emperor stage right now, what would you do about ascending in 10 years?"
"Who says that I don't have nothing to do in 10 years. We will ascend together since I am here to assist you." She said.
"That's reasonable. I get it. So… let's sell this 'trash' first?" Lucas asked with anticipation.
"Yes. From what I can remember, there is a famous city for trading in this Realm." Felicity said with ease.
Lucas was perplexed as to why Felicity knows such information. Though he knows that she visited here in her training days, but who knows how long it was since then.
He stared at her with deep thoughts, "How old are you?"
Felicity became suddenly stiff, "T-That's a rude question to ask!"
"Well, I was just curious when was the last time you visited here. And you still know such information?"
"I-I… I have a brilliant memory you know! Who said that I can't remember even this place was 2 Heavens below my home!"
Lucas just snickered at her. "Well, forgive me then. So, where's that city?"
"Are you in a hurry?" She asked with a quite strong attitude.
"I am not. Just wanted to test your memory." Then he laughed.
'He's a quite goofy character. I didn't expect him to be this easy to talk to. I thought he would stand on being a person with a noble aura.' Felicity thought while Lucas was deep in his laugh.
"It's called Morning Sun City." She said.
"Are you sure that it still exists?" Lucas asked thinking that the information might be outdated.
"I don't know. But depends on the cultivation world, it barely has revolution in the geography since cultivator lives a long life."
"That's understandable. So, we'll go right there immediately?"
"No. We still need you to have some monster cores that would help your cultivation."
Lucas's lower lip curled then he nodded. "I see. You are a great teacher. Thanks."
"No problem it's my job anyway. I will inspect the area to find the location where Warrior stages live."
Listening to Felicity, Lucas pondered how she can do such a feat. Well, for him, it wasn't surprising if there's a method to do such a feat. But since he doesn't know things, it might be knowledgeable if he asks.
"How can you do it? I mean with the looking in the area?"
"Celestial Sense. If you reach a particular cultivation base, you can try learning this. It helps me see everything in 10,000 km diameter."
That was a baffling distance that she can peek at, but for Lucas, such a feat is also a caliber that he can reach. If he didn't seal his core for reservation, he might see the whole world with ease if he activates an ability with the same effects.
Well, nevertheless, he was kind of taking a path of a safe road.
A few minutes later, Felicity was finished inspecting the whole area within her diameter. She looked at Lucas and asked, "Can you fly? I bet you can and I won't surprised if you'll it. Basically, saving me is quite a defying matter to look at."
Lucas nodded to her question. And Felicity confirming it, she sighed.
"You have surprises up in your sleeves. Let's go. Follow me, I know where the area is." She said before ascending in the air.
Lucas willingly followed her and activated his flight magic with his third energy.. Though he still doesn't have a pseudo for it, he still keeps on calling it third energy since he's not obligated to name it.
