"First of all, things were already planned. I made you arrive here and execute the plan I had in my head without your knowledge. However, since things got out of my hand, I came here to save you by gathering the familiars that had followed you."
Xiulong continued to explain things to Lucas, starting from the beginning until the current situation.
"You will become the Divine Emperor, which means that you are tasked with taking over the whole Four Heavens. But don't be stiff and nervous, you don't have to rush. But, are you sure that you are going to do that? The reverse spell."
Lucas let out a sigh and said, "I have no other choice. My karmic points skyrocketed and the things bothersome in my life won't give me happiness and the fulfillment of living in the Four Heavens. I will pretty much do it."
"But why do you seem to be calm? You didn't complain about the legacy, which I expected you to do."
Lucas snickered as he saw how Xiulong was confused about him. He then smirked. "It was just about being alive. I know that I won't die if I do the legacy, and becoming the Divine Emperor without my interest is something I couldn't resist. However, it doesn't mean that I won't be able to stop it."
"What do you mean?" Xiulong asked.
"After I become the Divine Emperor, I will give up my throne and create a legacy for someone to sit on it. Easy, right?"
Xiulong looked blankly at Lucas, making his face create obvious disbelief in what he had just heard.
'This guy... he is not joking.'
"But," Lucas cut off. "Since you didn't restrict me with the methods, I will do it in my own way. You explained the requirement, which gave me 10 years to finish it. However, something like invading it out of my hand."
"What are you going to do? How will you take over all of the continents?" Xiulong asked.
"By winning over their hearts. Wars will happen, but making a word that land is my property is not in my interest." Lucas didn't sound optimistic, but his voice was not to the point that he was being a spiritless person again.
"Are you sure about that?" Xiulong asked, sounding doubtful over Lucas's words.
Lucas nodded and smiled afterward. "Okay, sir ambassador. I will do my job now. I just hope that the backlash won't be that huge on me." Roger took a deep breath, and green lights began to shine from his hand. And seconds later, the land started moving. Trembles were visible at the moment.
Xiulong let out a sigh while he shook his head and started flying over Lucas and the whole process.
'The Eastern Continent is in great danger right now. If he fails, I have no other choice but to break the rules and participate in their affairs. I could just accept a little punishment since it would be just for one time.' Xiulong thought, greatly disappointed at the course of his legacy.
The process continued until Lucas's eyes glowed green light as well. The color of his skin started to become visibly green, despite not having changed into it as it was an effect of the light. But, that light to him was harmful as every strength of the light, the brightness of it was equivalent to the Magique Qi he had.
Lucas continued to do it, despite having a hard time breathing.
The land started to grow green trees, reversing everything just when the explosion happened. The people nearby the radius were surprised and baffled at the scene they were watching where everything returned slowly. It was so majestic and divine that their eyes couldn't be disconnected from the sight.
Slowly by slowly, the life of humans started to return. Despite breaking the rules of life and death, Lucas took a huge risk since it was his first time reviving a huge number of people within just one spell and also by reversing the effects.
'Their souls are still here... I could return them without any problems, along with the time-reversal.' Lucas thought out his worries in his head and endured the pain he was feeling.
An hour later, more humans came back to life, even if even their Qi had been restored. It was a miracle for everyone as their consciousness came back and they witnessed the sight as well.
At the center of the spell, Lucas started breathing strangely. He started coughing and the lights of his spell started blinking. The magic circle that was drawn on the land was also diminishing due to the lack of his Magique Qi.
'Little more...'
Lucas just had to revive everyone, including his familiars, Yuna and Lia. His eyes also started to flow blood from forcing his system to pass through the limits of the boundary of cultivation and magic. And just like that, he fainted, but he had already finished the spell.
Everything went blank for Lucas, but the final process of the spell was instantly done with him collapsing.
On the other hand, Yuna woke up slowly, feeling the stress she had just felt. And just when she opened her eyes, she saw everything. Her eyes were fixated on the sky where Lucas seemed to be a god that had descended to fix everything, repair what must be repaired.
She could see the desolated land returning to life as well as the other creatures in the surrounding. When she stood up, she felt weak, but she tried to reach Lucas.
'Lucas... There is something different about him again.' Yuna initially thought when she saw Lucas shouting from the pain. 'It is him now.'
Yuna attempted to drag herself to move but failed on the first try. But then, at the second one, she managed to muster the strength she needed to move. She felt her Qi and Magique Qi returning, and with it, she forced her body to be refreshed by flowing her energies to the veins.
She succeeded, and just after that, Lucas collapsed, making her act out of instinct to catch him before he could hit the ground.
She floated smoothly and caught him. As Lucas's skin touched her, and also with that, she could see Lucas's whole face, slowly calming down from the agony he had felt.
Yuna slowly put Lucas down on a huge rock and watched his system with her reinforced eyes.
"What just happened to him?" she asked herself and then tried to look at Lucas's dantian, but surprisingly, she managed it easily without any difficulty. But, she saw different. It was not a dantian, but something similar to it.
Yuna felt compelled to seek assistance in order to assist Lucas, but she was halted when she sensed a hostile presence nearby. It wasn't directed at her, but to someone else, and she suspected that it was for Lucas.
Yuna immediately drew a protective array and reinforced it, creating a dome barrier to protect Lucas. She then darted with a glare to the source of the intent and hissed, "Stop what you are doing."
"Yuna...?" A familiar voice resounded, instantly changing Yuna's face with confusion.
"Yuna, you're alive!"
All of a sudden, Lia appeared and embraced Yuna with an elated face of relief. When Yuna felt the tightness of the embrace, she unconsciously tapped Lia's back to disconnect from the embrace.
"Lia, calm down." Yuna said.
Lia followed what Yuna said and looked at her with teary eyes. "I thought you were going to die. I am sorry for being useless."
'It is weird to see Lia show her worries to me, but I guess it is not bad.' Yuna smiled, but then, after realizing what must be focused, she gasped. "Oh no. Lucas needs help."
"Lucas?" Lia asked with a sharp tone and glared at Lucas, who was inside the array. "Stop worrying about him. He tried to kill us!"
"But he saved us." Yuna instantly cut her off, making Lia show a confused expression.
"He didn't save us!" Lia shouted, but Yuna only looked at her with calm eyes.
"He saved us, Lia. I saw everything from desolation, but Lucas pushed himself to restore everything with a mystical art that I couldn't recognize. He was extremely exhausted, and his Magique Qi was weakening at the moment. He drained himself from saving us, Lia"
Lia became silent and showed her reservations. And just as Yuna noticed, she continued saving Lucas's image from her.
"Lucas returned to his previous state. I know that I suffered from it, but he reversed everything and returned it to its previous state."
"Yuna, this is not the best time to debate."
Yuna suddenly became silent. "You mean that you are going to ignore Lucas's faults?"
"I am not going to ignore it since you were hurt in that. But, Lucas must survive for him to be punished." Lia argued and ran away from Yuna, going straight to the creatures she had seen earlier.
'Since they have the familiar essence of him, they must know how to save him.'
