Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Kakashi patiently waited for smoke to settle so that he could read his book but he wasn't expecting to see the silhouette  of a person who was still standing in front of him. Kakashi raised up his guard as he waited for all of the dust to settle and the image of the person in front of him was finally visible to him making him raise his eyebrows weirdly because he wasn't expecting Naruto to do something so stupid.

"Naruto? Could you tell me what are you doing?" Kakashi said as he looked into Naruto's eyes.

Naruto said nothing as he continued to look into Kakashi's eyes. Kakashi felt a bit weirded out by this and just when he was about to pull back his eyes from him and focus on his book he felt that he wanted to look at him a  bit longer and so he did which successfully completed the ten seconds. Kakashi now couldn't help but fantasizing about Naruto in his mind because of this and all the things he had read in that novel of his, he started imagining doing those things between him and Naruto.

Naruto counted the ten seconds in his mind and realized that Kakashi sensei now lost in his thoughts. Taking advantage of this he slowly walked towards him and took the two bells from his hand making Kakashi recover himself a bit.

Kakashi coughed a bit to recover from his state but he couldn't look straight into Naruto's eyes now after what all he had done to him in his mind. Kakashi was not an experienced ninja for nothing as he soon stabled his mind and said "Well, I wasn't expecting this to happen so lets do this, Now that you've got two bells Naruto, you need to choose now. Who do you want to pass this test with? Sasuke? or Sakura?"

By the time he said this Sakura and Sasuke who had been watching what happened from nearby got out of the bushes. Naruto gazed at the two of them who had a confused expression on their face. Naruto raised the two bells on his hand and showed it Kakashi as he said "We're a team so if one doesn't gets selected that means no ones gonna get selected, I know I'm being selfish here but at times one has to be that." With that Naruto crushed the bells that were in his hands as the broken shards fell on the ground to the surprise of all the people present there.

Kakashi recovered first and nodded at the answer. He was quite pleased with the answer and said "Alright, you all pass. The main aim for this test was to check whether you'll abandon your teammates when cornered or not. I'm not sure about the two of you but seems like Naruto will not abandon his teammates and that's why you're all passed. If you were in his stead would you have done the same? Think over your guilty conscience and correct it because it would be needed in the future." 

Kakashi disappeared from there leaving only the three of them behind to celebrate and think things through.
