Idel Tidus stared at the man standing on the podium with a bored, incredulous expression. He sat in a theater-like building, with a central stage on one side and a veritable sea of cheap, plastic chairs on the other. All the lights in the room pointed to the theatre, leaving most in darkness. He sat sandwiched between people on all sides, the pungent odour of sweat omnipresent. The man on the rostrum was currently in the middle of an incessant, droning speech, one which was delivered in an horribly monotone and flat voice. Idel’s face morphed into a grimace. He placed his head in his hands, it aching from how morbidly bored he was. On his lap lay a piece of paper.
