Legend of The First King.

I see you came to me in search of answers, about the history of our world. And you will get your answers, but first. Tell me, do you believe in monsters and demons? Then if not, the story I'm about to tell you is meaningless. And trust me, monsters do exist, they hide behind every corner, you can find them on the streets, on the market or even in your home. Because the humans are the true monsters, we are the reason for every murder, trash and let's not forget the wars, ah yes, the wars… They are the reason for our fucked up world. 

But why do we do all of this? Is God really on our side? God is someone who takes care of us after we die, he judges us if we were good or not. But are there truly good people in this world? Maybe, if you look hard enough you might find a person who has no sense of malice, a person that doesn't lie or kill, a person who gives more than takes, a person the devil hasn't heard of. But this person probably doesn't exist because the devil lives in all of us, he is the source of our negative emotions and God is our positive side. These two sides are at war with each other and it doesn't matter how good you are, just one shift in the balance is all it takes to show the devil within you.

Long long ago, a man by the name of Dante Yamamoto came to our world in order to destroy it. No, that's not right. Yes, he looked like a man, but by nature he was dragon, intelligent enough to transform his body into that of a human, he did this when he discovered a power which he called "Magic", he used that strange power to make world kneel before him and making the two dragon species the ultimate lifeform. 

The world was burning, the blood moon was shining upon the land, people were screaming "Please kill us!" our world was a hell! But a strange man appeared… His name was Ivar Gates, the leader of the Northern Kingdom. He searched for power to defeat Dante, so he asked the devil for help. But the devil doesn't give anything for free. Yes, he gave him what he wanted, but at a great cost. His power would grow simultaneously with his anger and eventually they would become two separate beings. And when his anger takes over his body, he won't be able to distinguish good from evil and friend from foe, turning him into a monster. 

Ivar Gates didn't care about the cost, all he wanted was to stop this devil before he destroys the world. He confronted him at the bottom of the world tree, right at the center of the continent. He told him to back off but he wouldn't listen, the two titans got into a battle. The ground was shaking violently, each strike was meaningless, they were almost equal in power. Dante screamed and the ground beneath him melted, two giant wings appeared on his back, his skin turned into scales and he transformed into a monster. 

Ivar was losing the battle, his breath was fading away, his heart was filled with hatred, until a yellow lightning struck him. The strike was powerful, yet he survived it, he raised from the ground, the lightning was part of him, though he didn't feel anything in that state, just a mindless killing machine. He banished Dante, imprisoning him in hell for all eternity.

Though after his triumph, the world was still in imbalance. The two dragon species were naturally at war with each other, a war which lasted for ten thousand years. This war was another threat to humanity, Ivar Gates dedicated his entire life in order to stop it, but he failed. He used his power to separate the dragons from Eupatia, creating a new island in the process, he called it "The Forbidden Lands", this island served as a prison and a battlefield for the dragons, to solve their problems on their own, without risking the lives of his people.

Just like everything, King Ivar Gates had to leave this world. On his deathbed, his son and his fellow kings came to comfort him, Ivar decided to give each of them a partition of his power and to this day that power was given to the rightful ruler of each kingdom. 

Generation of kings and Queens came and left and the world was finally at peace. Until a couple of years ago, the king of the Gates Kingdom declared a war with Edessa for stealing his child.

The south and the north are at war with each other. Now is the age of blood! And let's not forget about The Evil King, the monster lurking in the shadows, turning the rain into blood and the earth into hell, a child kissed by the devil, a child of destruction and despair. None shall escape his rage. He is coming…
