1000 hours, 2 July 0145…

Me, Axel, Christine, Nolan, Lisabelle, Kyoko, Commander Katoki, and Commander Marisa are walking on to the airport terminal exit. Besides, I saw several police with a holy costume patrolling across this airport terminal.

After all of us exited the airport and standing in the drop point, a minibus. And then the tour host from the Cleanser Squadron got out of the minibus and greeted us with a smile.

"Buon giorno signori e signore. Welcome to the Grande Maria, the holy city of San Martino," He said to us with a thick native accent.

And then, Commander Katoki approached him and greeted him back by shaking his hands.

"Pedro Alvarino? it's been a long time! How's your day?" He asked back.

"Thankfully, I'm good, Commander Katoki Jefferson! It seems like your kids must be ready for a tour, then?" Mr. Pedro responded with a smile.

"Of course! Everyone is ready.,"

It slightly surprised me to hear Mr. Pedro mentioned me as a kid. I wanted to correct him that 6 of us are already over 20 years old, but I don't want to offend him any further.

Thenceforth, Commander Marisa introduced us to Mr. Pedro.

"Mr. Alvarino, this is Axel, Christine, Tsuyuki, Nolan, Lisabelle, and Kyoko.,"

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Alvarino," Said Lisabelle to Mr. Pedro with a smile.

Mr. Pedro nodded in understanding. Afterwards, he offered us.

"Alright, shall we get on the bus for a tour?"

"Of course, let's go!" Said Nolan in excitement.

Afterwards, all of us putting our suitcases into the baggage, entering the minibus. And the bus will take us onto slight tour, before they will take us to the Cleanser Squadron basecamp.

Inside this minibus, it was cozy. Although the interior may be smaller than any normal buses, the luxury facility cozens me even more. From the cool ACs, comfy seats, and wide windows on each side.

I'm sitting on the right side near the window while listening to the music through my EarPods and looking at the view from the outside. While Christine sat beside my left. Therefore, I saw several historic building and some old town, considering Grande Maria is a historical city.

And then, Mr. Pedro makes an announcement through the microphone while explaining the old fortress that we've just passed on.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen. As you can see, we're just passing through the historical building of Grande Maria called Grande Vespucci Fortezza, which means The Great Vespucci's Fortress. It originated from an ancient war between the invading Imperial Walrusian troops against the defending Martonian armies. And what's unique about that fortress and the creator of it is like they prefer to setting up tons of trap inside that fortress, and let the invading Walrusian troops entering it,"

"After the Walrusian armies entering that fortress, the Martonian armies under the command of Vespucci will conduct guerrilla warfare by hiding in several blind spot, let the poor Walrusian armies engulfed by their traps, and caught several Walrusian armies when they're off guard,"

"And when the Walrusian troops weakened in the middle of that fortress because of the traps, it's the Martonian armies' time to strike them all at once.,"

"And because of that, the whole invading Imperial Walrusian army will never invade this city. Because the peoples of this city will do anything to take them down on any occasions.,"

"Because the Martonian armies' warfare tactic is to stay calm under massive pressure, let the enemies wasting their resource during the invasion, and start attacking when the enemies are off guard,"

And then, everyone in this minibus nodded in understanding after hearing Mr. Pedro's history lesson about that old fortress and the Martonian armies.

Of course, his history lesson is pretty interesting to hear. Unfortunately, it's not my cup of a tea. Because all I care in Grande Maria is to abolish the Cleanser Squadron, and Onigashi. Despite that, I have to hide my motives. So the Cleanser Squadron won't catch me and thrown into their stupid concentration camp. Where they will force me to read the Holy Book, whilst beaten up for 24/7.

When I glued my sight toward the outside view inside this minibus while listening to the music through my EarPods, Christine patted my left shoulder and whisper.

"Psst, Tsuyuki!"

And it flinched me in a slight. After that, I turning off the music through my phone, took off the EarPods, looked at Christine on my left and asked.

"What?!"

And then she exclaimed.

"I mean, don't preoccupy your mind in here,"

"What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously.

Suddenly, Mr. Pedro explained.

"And by the way, for all of you kids in here. Try not to get into a daydream phase when your mind is idling. Because this place is such a holy place, where there are tons of evil spirits that will easily possess you if you did some indecent things in there. Even if you're on home.,"

"And no, I'm not trying to scare you like typical campfire stories. It's just you have to stay cautious. Because you have to obey the rule in this city, and it's often happening 24/7," He continued.

"Yes, sir.," Everyone nodded in understanding.

Furthermore, I don't give a crap and continue on listening to the music through my EarPods, whilst looking at the view from inside this minibus.

45 minutes have passed, and we've arrived at the front gate of the Cleanser Squadron HQ. But before that, the security checking up the vehicle before letting us to enter. After that, the security allowing us to entering the front gate.

When this minibus taking us to the lobby entrance, I saw several Cleanser Squadron's mechanoids passing through. Like human-controlled one, tall feet mechanoid with laser in the mouth, and some weird-looking tanks.

It amazes me from how advanced their military technology is, despite their hard-religious ideas they had. And it makes me wonder how Cleanser Squadron is able to negotiate with William Harris on sharing his technologies for this squadron?

And the most interesting part of those mechanoids is there are quotes in each of their body that's said.

"Dio sopra ogni cosa.,"

Which refers to "God above everything.,"

And it's no surprise that Cleanser Squadron is always wiping out anything that's opposing their ideas with these advanced weaponries.

After a few minutes, we have arrived at the front lobby entrance. And then, we're getting out of the minibus and entering the lobby of the Cleanser Squadron HQ.

Inside this lobby, it looks clean and luxurious. I saw a dome from above with an ancient religious calligraphies, and some painting in each wall about the story of their believed god. When we're standing in the middle of this lobby, 3 Cleanser Squadron soldiers approaching and greeted us.

"Welcome to the Cleanser Squadron headquarter. And may God bless all of you, amen.,"

"Lt. Pedro. I hope you'd understand that we're not taking a tour in this place.,"

"Alright, everyone. Let me introduce you to these soldiers. Meet Antonio, Lorenzo, and David,"

"By the way. These 3 are from the Galeo squadron. And they are also Authonoids like you.,"

"It's a pleasure to meet all of you, Minerva Authonoids," Lorenzo greeted us with a slightly deep, stern voice.

"If I may ask, shall I know the reason you're here?" David asked us.

"And it seems like you're willingly coming back to us, Christine," He continued as he looked at Christine.

However, Christine looked the other way with a bitter feeling. Because Antonio had an engagement with her. And I'm afraid that he might do something bad to her in the latter time.

Furthermore, I stoop forward and answer his question.

"I'm Tsuyuki, the leader of the Black Vulture squadron. Currently, Crescent is on their way to commit an uprising in this city. Where Onigashi marched her Infectoids troops onto Grande Maria. And she's planning to steal the disguise serums and assassinate Enzio Busso.,"

"Hmm… interesting…" Antonio nodded in understanding.

Suddenly, Lorenzo approached and offering us.

"By the way, shall we talk about these issues while we're having fine lunches? I hope all of you are starving this time.,"

"Thanks for your service!" Axel replied while nodded formally.

However, Lorenzo chuckled a bit and answered.

"It's alright, no need to be super-formal for us. Let's take it easy and don't over pressurize yourself,"

When the rest of my friends following their leads to the dining room for taking a lunch. I saw Antonio patted Christine's shoulder and asked.

"Christine, may I talk with you in somewhere else?"

"Yeah… sure…"

Therefore, Christine followed Antonio's lead into some place where they can discussing something in a private place.

Besides, it worried me he might do something wrong with her. So I tailing them sneakily.

However, Katoki stopped my lead by holding my chest and said.

"Look, Tsuyuki. I know that you're worried about her, considering that she had an engagement with Antonio. But for this time, just let her took care of her affair by herself with no interruption,"

"And you can talk to her after she's finished her discussion with him," He continued.

"Fine. And it's none of your business if she's wounded," I replied to him in a bitter tone.

"Stop being over-dramatic. It'll be done when we're in the dining room.,"

With no further ado, me and Commander Katoki following the rest to the dining room.

Although I'm worried with Christine when she's had a private discussion with Antonio, I still had a faith that she will be fine.

And I hope she'll come back alright, and doesn't leave any bitter feeling.
