Samantha and Daniel's cliffside villa had a really nice view of the ocean. The dining area was situated near the glass window offering a picturesque view, and it was the perfect spot.
The table was filled with all kinds of food, it had pork, beef, lamb, turkey and seafood dishes. It was like a feast. There were lots of fruits and desserts to choose from.
Everyone was standing in front of Samantha and Daniel, they stood by the end of the table and smiled to everyone.
Samantha spoke first, "I'm very happy to see everyone here. It means a lot to us."
"I started building this house about several months ago and I've always had Samantha in mind all throughout the process. Now, it's finally happening." Daniel looked at the woman next to him and placed an arm around her.
"We'd like to let you know that… we're getting married." she smiled as she announced and everyone in the room cheered and gasped from the revelation.
"FINALLY!" Mrs. Cho exclaimed and Samantha's mother chimed in.
They walked up to them and gave them wishes. The atmosphere felt very warm and cozy with all of their loved ones gathered together. It was what they wanted, no drama… just love.
The housewarming started with the announcement of their engagement and then followed by apéritif. Every one of them had a glass of drink in their hand and jazz music filled the air. Hannah was talking to Liam by the breakfast table and they enjoyed each other's company.
"So you're telling me that you have been to Country F a couple of times before but haven't tried snails?" Liam questioned before he took a sip of his dry wine.
Hannah shyly chuckled to hide her embarrassment, "I just don't think I can eat snails."
"Well… I can't say that I'm a fan of it but at least you should've tried one." Liam showed his pearly whites.
They talked about anything and everything casually, laughing once in a while making Seo Joon a little uncomfortable at the side as he gave them a side glance.
"I see that you haven't made your move yet." said Becca when she approached his ex-boyfriend.
Seo Joon looked at her and they exchanged warm friendly smiles. "You sure are cool about this, as expected of Becca Wise." he commented as he thought of how different Becca is.
"I can't say I'm not hurt but… I'd rather accept it than sulk. I don't like forcing myself to someone. And… I want you to be happy." she confessed with a serious look while she observed Hannah.
"Becks, I'm… sorry." Seo Joon said softly.
In which Becca returned with a chuckle, "Don't be sorry… you should never be sorry when you're in love."
She sighed heavily and stretched her arms forward, "I guess my search for Mr. Right continues." she laughed at her own sentence.
"You're a good person, Becca. I'm sure that you'll meet him at the right time."
The feast began and everyone enjoyed the scrumptious meal. After dinner, Hannah approached Samantha and asked, "S, where can I get more wine?"
"Downstairs, far right is the wine cellar. Can you get two bottles?" Samantha requested and Hannah nodded her head.
All this time, Seo Joon had been watching her. With one gulp, he emptied his wine glass and gathered the courage deep within his gut. He stood up and without anyone else realizing, he followed Hannah downstairs.
She reached the end of the hall and opened the door of the wine cellar. Contrary to the modern style of the entire house, Samantha and Daniel's wine cellar had a classic touch. With a solid mahogany interior, the whole room was cool and smelled of wood. Hannah tapped the light switch and the room was illuminated, showcasing rows and rows of bottles of wine.
She wasn't an expert of wine but she had some favorites. The one she wanted was placed atop the shelf, and with her small stature, she had a hard time reaching it.
Seo Joon had found his way inside the cellar and caught sight of Hannah trying to reach a bottle. With a naughty smile on his face, he sauntered and stood behind her.
At this point, Hannah still didn't notice his presence until Seo Joon's long and strong arms hovered over her and effortlessly taking the bottle that she was trying to reach.
Startled, she froze on the spot.
"You could've asked for help, you know?" he spoke in a low voice making Hannah's insides melt with the sound of his sexy voice.
She gulped and turned around abruptly. Without knowing what to say, she just stood there and looked at him.
Seo Joon stared at her sweetly and she lowered her head. "Becca and I broke up," he announced.
And as soon as Hannah heard it, her heart pounded as if it was about to leap out. 'Calm down, heart. He might hear you.'
Seo Joon couldn't read what was on her mind, nonchalantly, he asked, "Do you need anything else?"
She lifted her head and their eyes met, "Two."
"Huh?"
"I need two bottles," she confirmed.
He reached and took one more from above her, the entire time Hannah's eyes didn't leave him. That time, Hannah no longer held herself back from getting mesmerized by the beautiful man in front of him.
Noticing her gaze, Seo Joon smirked. Looking down at her, he questioned, "Did you know that these are very expensive?"
Hannah didn't understand why he asked the question but she nodded her head, "Yes, and?"
He handed the two bottles of wine to her and she received them. Holding one bottle in each hand, she looked at him when he spoke, "If you let go of the bottles, you're gonna have to pay for it."
Tilting his head and leaning in, "I want to kiss you," he spoke just before he touched his lips to Hannah's.
Her eyes widened in shock but there was nothing else she could do except to let him. It's not as if she didn't long for it, so why would she refuse?
After a few seconds, she closed her eyes and started to respond to his kisses. Savoring his lips that had the taste of wine and strawberry, mixed with his musky scent, Hannah was sent to euphoria.
She fought the urge to let go of the bottles in her hands and pull him close. She started to think, 'Kissing him is more satisfying, I wouldn't mind paying.'
Just as she had these thoughts, footsteps were heard from the side and the door of the cellar opened.
Daniel walked in and saw Seo Joon and Hannah kissing.
He stopped in his tracks and at the same time, the two of them turned their heads in his direction.
Hannah blushed super red when she realized that Daniel Cho caught her kissing his fiance's brother.
Seo Joon also didn't know what to do at that moment, it seemed like time had stopped for a moment for the three of them downstairs.
Daniel found himself in an awkward situation and the only thing he thought of doing was to escape.
Thus, without looking directly at them, he grabbed the door handle, "Carry on," he said before he closed the door of his wine cellar.
