Huge cities stretched all the way down the long tunnel, using passports to cross the border.
Hard to say bright space, not too dark. The first layer of the ancient underground city was like a whole remodeling of a vast rock cave.
By the way, natural rock columns and large rock mountains are processed as they are shredded and habitable. In the midst of such a number of rocky mountains, a stone building as large as the castle and seemingly mysterious was built there, connected by several passages and bridges.
Even as it decays and collapses, the lighting still shines bright lights and continues to illuminate such a city.
The ceilings, not so high, the large buildings are mostly getting there. For this reason, the hollow is intricately intertwined with passageways and bridges, and you can't see it any further a little further.
The missing buildings of the inhabitants, the corridors that enter and the boulevards that run at the bottom of the earth. All of that was now turned into a demonic dwelling, where such sights continued for dozens of kilometers.
(It's still wonderful here. It's like a dungeon.)
Mira looks around again at the sight in her eyes, before its overwhelming scale, recalling the aliases once attached to this dungeon. The name of a computer game called the Original Dungeon RPG.
Ancient underground city. It was so vast that it could be the royal road of the dungeon and the final form, and it was such a complex dungeon that it was said to be one game here alone.
Mira steps loosely into such a dungeon.
As he crosses a huge bridge and kicks through the demons he was wandering along the way, Mira stops in front of several branched paths.
A path leading to a building as large as a fortress, a staircase leading to another bridge that passes upwards, a passage at the end of a bridge that is collapsing along the way, down to the bottom of the first layer of sight. There are countless such branches in ancient underground cities, which are also very easy to get lost with their vastness.
But for Mira, it was like a garden she was used to going through.
"Straight ahead, right, that's the first key."
Mira, whining to confirm her memory, walks straight out toward the end of the collapsed bridge. Then, in "Wide Walk in the Sky," he ran across the universe and flew to the other side.
The ancient underground city, as ranks were divided by hierarchy, had a wide range of demons to emerge, making it a very popular hunting ground even in the days of the game. Mira, too, used to work out quite well here, and I still remember the minimum amount of geography needed. That's why we were able to take the shortest route to the lower level.
"First, not the first one."
After crossing the bridge, Mira enters the tower that was near her and ends the herds of demons, etc. with a touch of armor sleeves before putting her hands on a crystal ball on the top floor of the tower. Then a small letter like a symbol floats in Mira's palm.
By collecting these five letters, you will be able to open the door to the deepest part of the Great Temple, where there are stairs for descending to the second level.
Mira goes down the tower to where the next crystal sphere is. Continue down the aisle, up the stairs, through the interior of the building and occasionally jump between the road and the road. By the way, while defeating the demon, Mira followed a truly solid and efficient offensive route, finishing collecting five letters in about an hour.
It would have been collected more efficiently on Pegasus. But Mira didn't because her own rules were set in the first layer of the ancient underground city.
Is it the remnants of the former security apparatus that disqualifies those who were in the universe for more than a certain amount of time from entering the Great Temple for a whole day?
Back then, when Mira was Dumblrf. When the letters were collected by rushing through a straight distance in "Wide Walk in the Sky," the crease had been disabled and it was not possible to proceed to the second level. and so on.
Mira learned at a later date that it was judged by the cumulative time her leg had not reached the ground whether it would be disabled or not. This was written in a book called "Guide to the Great Temple" in the library on the tower where the crystal sphere was installed.
After such a bitter experience of recoil, or even wildly using "open walks," Mira, who first grasped the cumulative time, had figured out where to use it to fit within that range to derive the shortest route. While a vast ancient underground city, the key places are fortunate to be concentrated, or the route still seems to have burned behind Mira's brain.
"Well, let's meet someone."
The center of the site, laid with cobblestones with very old seasons. On the front, the old Grand Temple. A short distance from it was the figure of a man or woman sitting thoughtfully.
Everyone dressed lightly and wondered if it was a group of adventurers, an atmosphere that wasn't. Mira stared at them wondering what they were doing, and they waved and responded.
I don't know more and more. Mira, who waved back her hand for now, turned back to the Great Shrine and dropped her gaze on the five letters floating flat in her hand.
"But I miss it here too."
Was the last time I visited it about a year ago because of my physical senses? Mira lays her hands on the door of the Great Temple, bitterly laughing that it was something that annoyed her companions for so long then. Then one flat letter glowed and the big door began to open. And as Mira steps inside, the door closes.
As soon as Mira entered, she proceeded straight through the cathedral which was located.
How much history is there here? Old stained glasses and collapsed statues of gods were rolling by the way.
Successfully avoiding them scattered at his feet, Mira stands in front of the door behind the cathedral. And when I put my hands together again, one more letter opens the light door.
Beyond that was a long corridor of white cobblestones. There is no demonic appearance, only the white lights continue to dot.
Proceed through the hallway and hold hands at the door on the way three times. And when the fifth door was opened, all the letters of the palm glowed, and all of them vanished.
Then in front of you, a junction device. When Mira finally unbinds with a union-issued pass, she goes out into a large hall surrounded by stone walls ahead.
There existed a group of demons that emerged on the second level. It's a combination and arrangement that even says turn back if you're going to struggle here, but naturally, for Mira, the collaboration of those demons is not enough, and all the dark nights come together.
Thus Mira arrived on the second level in good order.
The second layer of an ancient underground city. Although the sight is not so different from the first, it is about half the size. The more difficult this dungeon gets down, the narrower it gets. Still, because the eyes are unusually wide, even at the lowest level, they are as large as the capitals of the major countries, so it is no different than unusual.
If there is only one difference, is there no lag limit that was in the first place? For that matter, on the second level, restrictions exist on the conduct of combat around the Great Temple. If you violate this, you won't be able to open the Great Temple door for a whole day.
"Okay, please. Pegasus or."
Without a stagnation limit, Mira, who summoned Pegasus just because it belonged to this one, flies across the back of Pegasus, who hisses with motivation, to obtain the letters that are key to the third layer.
Thanks to Pegasus's overwhelming motor power, its mobility efficiency is significantly higher than at first sight. But that's why the second layer of character collection stipulated something new called order. Besides, the tower where the letters can be obtained is now spread throughout the second layer, and we have to start from the north and circle around to draw the five dead stars.
Still, the usefulness of Pegasus was enormous. Mira tries to sew in gaps, such as bridges, that enter, and goes around those towers. It was going very well compared to when there was no means of flight.
"Well, one more thing? But at all, it's a tricky trick..."
Getting the letters in the fourth tower, Mira blurts as she jumps right on Pegasus's back.
Six hours early after arriving on the second floor. I even pinched a light meal break or something along the way, but that time was spent almost on the move.
Though they fly and travel, they stand out for that matter and are often attacked by flying demons such as bird systems. All of those were shot down with lightning emitted by Pegasus just to stay out of the way, so it didn't take much time, but the problem was the second layer of construction.
"Well, next in the southwest direction. Please."
When Mira says so, Pegasus hisses small and rises to the universe again. And as instructed, he flies toward the southwest firmly.
It's just that the bridges, corridors, etc. are more complicated than the first glance, so we can't get extra speed. It is easy for Pegasus to avoid it while still speeding, because in doing so the Mira riding will be shaken off. In fact, a little more than enough since the beginning of this layer of offense, Mira was dancing brilliantly through the universe.
So Pegasus is flying safely right now. But for that matter, Pegasus was in a very good mood because he and Mira would be together longer, and he was running lightly through the universe.
"It's a second tier attack, and it's going to be over today."
When I check the current time, it's almost seven o'clock at night. By the time you've finished collecting your letters and arrived at the Grand Temple, it will be nearly nine o'clock.
Nevertheless, if you try to attack the second layer on foot, it will take a week, so Mira is a fairly easy person to get to the sky.
For the record, on the first and second levels, there was a person acting on behalf of this collection of letters. He who finds his own shortest route, just like Mira, or has the means to fly.
A first or second layer with no significant return for a group of high-ranking adventurers. Given food, etc., the length of stay is finite and I can't take the hassle and time in such a place, etc.
That's where the proxy comes in. This seems to be fitting well and is well established as a business. It should be noted that it was these who waved to Mira in front of the Temple of the First Eye that were the proxies.
"Hmm. That's the last of it. I'm getting hungry for boulders."
Thus, at the last tower where he arrived, Mira, who obtained the fifth letter, leaves the top of the tower, lightly adorning the demon that had just been attacking him as he waited. And look over the dim city from its heavenly side and admire its vastness again.
(There used to be a lot of people living here. As a dungeon or a hell of a place, but as a city or a hell of a place.)
What people lived in, what life they lived in, and why they built so many cities underground, not on earth? Mira finds out, even her historical-setting favorite friend hadn't unraveled it, the history of an ancient underground city.
Looking at the views that flow on Pegasus's back, Mira wonders if the mystery of an ancient underground city is also sleeping somewhere. And I was just curious to understand the feelings of a friend who tells history with excitement.
When it was past nine o'clock at night. As planned, Mira arrived in front of the Great Temple in the middle of the second level. As with the first layer, several door-opening agents dot near the temple. The gaze that can be directed at Mira seems sharp because she got off the universe on Pegasus or because she thought it was a commercial enemy.
(Why not? Stunned……)
Without any intention whatsoever, Mira opened the door of the Great Temple to make it the Inn of the Day and jumped in to escape.
After all, when there is a roof, it is calming. There seemed to be many like-minded people like Mira, and several groups of adventurers were thoughtfully generous in the cathedral ahead through the door.
Mira was frightened by the gaze of the adventurers, who would have reacted only because the door opened. Again here we proceeded from the cathedral to the side passage to escape again.
Though ancient, only the Great Temple is robust and bigger than anything else. For that matter, there are a lot of small rooms that seem to be available as a resting area. However, because the doors are decaying, there is no security.
Mira indulges in a small room that seems usable while illuminating the dark corridor with the light of intangibles. Along the way, I got in the way of two people who were whispering love to each other in a dark little room, but I managed to find the right room to calm down.
Mira, who placed a special sleeping bag instead of a rug and rolled over it, switches on the insect repellent that comes with the sleeping bag. In the meantime, the bugs crawled out of the room to escape. The boulder is made by the Dinoir Chamber of Commerce and has an effect of surface.
(Lily, lily is a good thing...)
No eyes on the bugs, Mira distorts her mouth when she remembers something. Mira, illuminated by the light of intangibles placed in the center of the room, had a very troubled smile.
"Well, finally, it's time for some fun!
Mira, who had come to her considerable crotch because she had been riding Pegasus for a long time, began to take the tools out of the item box with great pleasure after a short break.
What came out was various ingredients and a cooking set for the first time adventurers. I even admired it somewhere, like an adventurer. Cook in the camp. Mira feels a little excited when she does the most adventurous thing she's ever done.
Tonight's dedication is Mira's special vegetable soup. The cooking set is not cleverly...... but, even though it is not a wake-up call, Mira cuts the vegetables apart at all risk.
Cabbage in carrots, mushrooms in onions. And the lead beef. The shapes are inconsistent, and the streets of the fire become urban again, but I don't mind that, and I throw it into the pan just because this is the adventurer. He then poured the water produced by the intangible technique and placed the pan on a small stove.
Twist the knob on the small stove and light the fire. All you have to do is add the seasoning while you taste it, and if the whole thing goes through the fire, it's done.
"Hmm, I'm smelling good."
Mira is heartened by the changing scent as she puts seasonings into the boiling pan in a timely fashion. He takes another bite with a spoon, checks the taste and says, "Not a little salt," he whines like that and laughs.
After that, spill the pan over the meat and taste it several times. Finally, I became a Mira and was able to cook my first dish.
Mira swallowed the hot vegetable soup with a wooden spoon, breathing and cooling it into her mouth. And when I gently chew and swallow, I get a really satisfying grin.
"Hmm! Is my cooking taste pretty good, too?"
Melted vegetables and boiled beef until tender. Although the flavoring is the most basic salty flavor, it is made from mineral-rich natural salt, so it brings out a more complex flavor than you can imagine. Mira added pepper and butter to it. That gave it a deeper flavour, and for the first time it created a flavour that I could fully enjoy.
It's the lowest level of vegetable soup inside, though. But it was a memorable dinner for Mira to say that situations were the biggest seasoning.
After the meal, Mira, who cleaned up the cooking set, went on to take out a single bag. This is also one of the adventurer's items purchased at the Dinoir Chamber of Commerce, a simple magical laundry bag with just water.
Mira, who quickly took off her clothes and looked like her underwear, also quickly threw them away and into the laundry bag with her clothes. Then water it with intangibles and switch it on. By the way, the power source, the Magic Cartridge, has already been set.
From inside the laundry bag, shabby noise. How does fulfillment work? Wherever and how it is placed, it is excellent to wash thoroughly.
Mira, dressed in her changing underwear, sleeps on the sleeping bag listening to what a pleasant sound of water she feels after summoning the watchman Holly Knight near the entrance to the small room. Then I started reading all the skills I got from Luminaria. Some of these conditions are likely to be immediately mastered, and they are mastered here. This is how Mira spent more leisurely time in the dungeon than she thought.
For the record, the intangible technique of producing water consumes mana to such an extent that it corresponds to other intermediate levels of technique in the partition of its effects.
Mira used it naturally, but it was only because she had enough local power to train with magic specialization, acquire a variety of protections and skills, and be able to fill her consumption with the maximum value of Mana and the rate of recovery. From this point on, Mira's camp is very different from other adventurers, and if she had done the same thing in the cathedral, it would have been a storm of solicitation from many groups because of her abilities.
