"It's quite alright, just please let me know next time. You know I'm supposed to be strict with you but then I don't think you would like me which doesn't sound like a good situation for me to be in." Russ commented which got a giggle from Jessica as she smiled in the vague direction that she assumed Russ was in based on his voice.
"That would be very bad indeed, it doesn't seem like fun having a strict butler who I can't relax and be myself around. I very much prefer someone like you over that." Jessica responded earning a soft chuckle from Russ who looked at her clothing and face, both of which were covered in dust and dirt. Russ walked to the sink and damped a rag as he brought it over and learned down a bit to start wiping some dirt and dust off of Jessica's face which earned him more giggles.
"So young lady, other than an abundance of dust and dirt did you happen to find anything interesting?" Russ questioned her as he kept wiping the dirt off her face while having to wash the rag off once or twice. Jessica shook her head.
"Sadly, there wasn't anything interesting to be found in the basement, dirt and dust included. I just wish I could explore more than just inside the house which I've already explored several times." Jessica replied with a sad tone to her voice as she laid on her back sighing loudly.
"I'm sorry but you know how your father is, with you being blind from birth and after losing your mother two years ago he has become really protective over you. He doesn't want to lose anything more than he already has." Russ said with a frown on his face though no one would see it as it was just him and Jessica around at the moment as the other staff of the house were working on making dinner and keeping the rest of the house clean.
