“He…he left?”

In the buildings, all the observers were stunned at the scene shown from the screen.

The predicted conflicts didn’t occur and all three of their plans didn’t even get to be used.

But it was a Level 1 Psyche contaminated zone and he was a psyche mutant with such potential, the contact between them should’ve caused an enormous stimulation, and the observers were going to use that opportunity to eliminate the infected in the café. They could’ve also precisely examined the potential of the subject to decide whether they should take him in or just get rid of him with the infected.

But on the contrary, they only saw the 13th subject walking into the zone and walking back out.

There was nothing odd…

Every staff in the scene subconsciously looked at the short-haired woman who was the leader of the group.

She was also in a daze for a moment, but she soon ordered firmly, “Continue investigating, be ready for the 4th plan!”

Lu Xin who jogged slightly away from the café quickly came by the train station, as he wanted to leave the scene as soon as possible.

Even he himself didn’t know what was that he saw in the café.

However, he finally confirmed what his sister wanted to remind him.

Monsters!

Ever since the red moon, the world was flipped upside down. Numerous lunatics appeared, they wandered every day in the wilderness but they were still humans, what he saw was definitely not humans.

He obviously didn’t want to provoke them so he left.

The train station was empty, only in the staff room was there an elderly security guard dozing off.

Lu Xin sat on the bench and a small sigh escaped from his mouth.

He turned his head but he didn’t see his little sister around, so he couldn’t ask her what that was about.

He could only ask when he finally went home.

Lu Xin always knew about his own “family”, he knew something about them.

*Rub* *Rub*

Suddenly the sound of shoe soles rubbing against the floor appeared around him, Lu Xin lifted his head and he saw people coming towards the train station.

The train station that was empty a moment ago had more and more people starting to pour in; they wore different types of clothes and were walking in a hurry. They quickly went to the station, but it didn’t seem like they were here for the train. Rather, they located themselves around the station. Lu Xin realized something wasn’t right. He turned his head and looked at them, from an old man in a worn sweater, he recognized them.

They were the people from the café.

Lu Xin was shocked and he quickly stood on his feet. He saw a shadow behind the crowd.

It was the waiter in the café, and the pleasant smile he had never left his face. However, it appeared to be quite eerie under the lighting.

In his hand was a cup. It was the cup of coffee that Lu Xin didn’t drink.

He walked towards Lu Xin. The edge of his mouth lifted towards the side of his face, with a gentle and unhurried voice, he said, “You haven’t finished your coffee!”

Lu Xin stood up anxiously to leave.

However, the surrounding people copied him and started walking towards him, blocking his way.

The happy and friendly people from the café were no longer here, and what replaced them was an uncanny crowd. As if they were sleepwalking, there were no excessive movements in their actions. Lu Xin’s reflection was even nowhere to be found in their eyes. They were simply moving forward like robots. As they closed in, the space was getting smaller and smaller with Lu Xin in the middle. Like a cage made up of humans, he couldn’t move a step.

The waiter’s smile was getting even eerier, with the coffee in his hand, he held it up to Lu Xin.

Lu Xin who was a little awkward and frightened,

“I don’t have any money so I probably can’t afford it…”

The waiter’s face who was already very eerie became even more distorted. Suddenly, the black eye that was in the coffee jumped up from the cup. Drawing a black line in its projectile, it flew across and towards Lu Xin’s mouth.

Lu Xin who was startled pushed against the crowd with all his might.

He was young and strong, so he was able to remove a few people in his way.

However, the café customers in his surroundings were also moving. They stuck out their stiff arms in attempt to stop him.

With that many things holding him, they were like robes binding Lu Xin, giving him no way to escape.

Lu Xin’s struggle was getting harder as more people were acting against him. Some even tried to open his mouth forcefully.

“What’s going on?”

In the office used for observation, a frown was appearing on the face of the short-haired woman.

“He’s just like any normal person!”

“Maybe he’s unable to control his power!”

Some staff said, “Should we help him? Should we stop the investigation?”

Seeing Lu Xin being drowned in the swarms of tentacles, the short-haired woman slightly nodded and looked at the girl at her side.

The girl was already lifting her umbrella quietly.

“Wait a second…”

At that moment, a staff suddenly shouted.

Everyone stared at the apparatus used to observe his psyche, which showed drastic changes compared to Lu Xin’s normal state.

At that moment, Lu Xin who was held by the people, with his mouth forcibly opened, heard a small smirk in his ears.

“Hehe…”

Looking up, Lu Xin saw his sister who was hanging upside down on a sign with her teddy bear.

“Jelp Ne..”

Lu Xin who had his mouth pinched let out a vague moan.

“Big brother cold-shoulders me all the time, you always act like you don’t see me outside, you refuse to talk to me…”

His sister who was dangling in mid-air said gloomily.

“Jelp Neee…”

Lu Xin who looked at the black “eye” which was flying towards him said despairingly.

“Hehe, but you have to promise to buy me the best toy…”

His sister laughed joyfully, a provocative expression can be seen in her dark eyes.

“You!”

Lu Xin shouted. He was genuinely angered and his body stiffened.

Also at that moment, the eye was already clinging near his mouth and was rolling on Lu Xin’s face. It contracted slightly like a smile thenjumped promptly with its destination decided. At the same time, the surrounding people opened Lu Xin’s mouth to an even bigger degree. Like a helpless convict, he stared as the object slowly climbed towards his mouth.

The moment of despair!

At that moment, a cold small sensation filled his hand, it was his sister’s hand.

His sister was no longer hanging on the sign.

*Click*

In the eyes of others, Lu Xin appeared like a loach.

He who was bound by the others, his arms bent in an unnatural manner, his mouth wide open suddenly changed his mood. He twisted his arm so that it would go back in place, he moved his waist slightly and the arms that were binding him shook off. The hands that were opening his mouth were also gone, the eye also flew across his head as he ducked slightly.

At that moment he seemed to have adopted the state of liquid, he swiftly shook off the hands and escaped towards the end of the crowd.

The remaining people who filled the place rushed towards him at once, it still didn’t seem like he could escape.

However, Lu Xin’s appearance was something no one can understand. Uncannily, he dodged and went through the crowd.

“Body manipulation, spider-type!”

At the same time, the staff in the building observed through the camera. They who witnessed Lu Xin’s escape were all in awe. They all saw Lu Xin stuck from the screen and how he was about to be “contaminated” by the monster. However, his body suddenly became very flexible and agile.

Facing the countless monsters in the train station, it was like he was in the zone. His agility reached the peak point and no one could have ever thought of the ways he’s moving right now. Clearly, he was he stuck in the countless “people” from the café, but his out-of-ordinary moves allowed him to flexibly dodge all the harm hurled at him. He was even able to climb onto walls without any tools or help.

“What’s the percentage?”

“No conclusions can be made yet, but look at that, we guess it’s around or above 50%!”

“Damn that wouldn’t that initial potential even reach the likes of ‘Gecko’?”

The staffs were both delighted and scared. They excitedly observed the person who was rushing towards the entrance through their camera.

“Not good!”

Someone screamed after noticing an abnormal change.

In the station, Lu Xin who was holding his little sister’s hand was escaping swiftly.

However, the uncanny smile of the waiter who saw his agile movements became even weirder, like a wax painting, his body became so stiff to a point it became an empty shell.

At the same time, tentacles flew out from his back.

On the tentacles were sharp bones and eerie eyes.

“Shh” “Shh” “Shh”

The tentacles flew towards Lu Xin rapidly.

Lu Xin who was escaping on the walls felt the concrete dropping at his sides.

At the strong impact, the entire station was vibrating violently as if it was going to collapse at any minute.

However, no matter how fast the tentacles were, they were no match for Lu Xin’s incredible movements. His movements were so weirdly fluent that it looks natural. He moves in ways that defy the law of physics to dodge the tentacles. From others’ perspectives, in a sense, it looks like he was dancing on the walls and ceilings.

In the span of just a few seconds, he was already a few tens of metres away, nearing the exit.

Looking at the scene, the short-haired woman greatly inhaled and looked at the girl at her side.

“Prepare for the wind-up.”

The expressionless girl stood up and lifted her umbrella, slowly opening it.

“Wait…”

However, at that moment, a staff in front of the screen astonished by the scene said, “He’s… provoking them?”

“…”

“Why?”

The atmosphere was tense, the staff members were looking at each other among themselves.

Since the moment Lu Xin showed his abilities, they were already preparing to leave because they knew how dangerous the potential of spider-type can be. They knew there was no way that the café or the people in it could stop him, as there were not many facilities in the world that can confine a spider-type to start with.

However, this was something they didn’t expect: the spider-type didn’t leave…

He turned back and provoked them!

What kind of manner of a being would provoke them rather than escape?

“What are you doing!?”

Lu Xin yelled horrifyingly.

The exit was right there and he could escape just fine. But his sister didn’t let him do so.

“What do you think you’re doing”

His sister said with a pout.

“Escape, can’t you see the monsters in front of us?”

Lu Xin was angry and impatient.

“Why’re you so scared, big brother?”

His little sister smirked while provoking the waiter.

Under the untidy hair, her eyes shined brightly

“It should be him who’s scared.”
