Chapter 7 

Under the sinful watch of the cameras and netizens, he then disappeared from the eyes of everybody.  

What happened later was, the city lord's mansion, which stood so high in the main city, exploded, with the beautiful man who they once watched walking towards the mansion, levitating in the sky. His long hair waving, and his hand holding a ball of crystal.

That ball of crystal, was no doubt, his eyes. The people in the city were only aware of the event after it occurred, that's how fast everything happened. Within seconds, the mansion exploded. 

It was known that the city lord is the only one residing in that mansion. 

Afterward, they found the body. There was no sign of struggle or pain on it. A clean corpse. It looked more like a painting than reality, except, it was covered in scarlet blood. 

The netizens watching everything that had happened were in awful shock, and are naturally, angry.  

They called him evil; they called him selfish; they called him despicable. The media has been doing all it can to discredit the beautiful man, and the city lord's family has not done anything but keep quiet about this, even if they know everything. No one wants to go public knowing what the city lord has done. 

It was then, they found out that under the exploded mansion, debris, they saw a path leading underground.

Underground was a laboratory, and they saw several human body parts that looked like it has long been rotten. There are tubes with humans that look like monsters, their body parts stitched together. It was horrible. 

Netizens who were watching everything using the advanced drone were aghast. 

 They didn't want to see it anymore, so they moved on, thinking maybe those were just some experiments to research good things. 

But soon they knew better. People were crying in the uninet telling that, "I can't ever forget that face! That was my son, he was a soldier, and just a month ago, we were mourning his passing!" 

They couldn't accept the fact that someone, at least under a position in the Government, someone could experiment on human bodies. 

The people finally realized, even with such advanced technology, there are still people with ulterior minds.

The forgotten beautiful man was once again the spotlight of the show, there were doubts and theories about who he is, and how does he know about the city lord's doing. 

What they are more curious about is, how powerful he is, to do a big event in just a matter of seconds. 

Vorjax, the beautiful man, held the crystal and crushed it. "Should everyone be aware, whatever that once belonged to me, will always belong to me." and directly looked at the lens of the drone. 

They felt chills, because that eyes, the beautiful eyes, held nothing. It was as if they are just ants he can kill anytime. 

Smiling, Vorjax said; "Let me introduce myself..." 

"I am Vorjax Sinnen. The King of Greed."

The uninet, which was known for its universal internet, for the first time crashed.

'The Kings' was a popular mythology of the Empire. It was stated that the heroes of the Empire killed the Kings. There were seven of them, and Vorjax is the epitome of Greed. It was stated that each king handle each race, coexisting together until each race left and went to their respective planets. 

But they know it's just a myth, yet, why is there someone introducing themselves as one of the kings? 

There were many speculations and theories about what was happening. But they all agree on one thing, the Empire is in chaos.

The world started to turn upside down as all kinds of news about him flooded the public’s mind. 

There were also rumors spreading about what the Kings have been up to over these years.

Many speculate they might just have died during a big explosion or a natural disaster, and not killed by the heroes of the Empire. 

Some once said they are not dead, others say they are just hiding and some even claim they are immortal. 

They are right, because Kings are made, and can't be killed.

The Government has been contacting the Temple of Light and the Royal Family. 

The old men in position have long been demanding to fix the mess, no matter how hard they tried to, they can't deceive the netizens. 

They just need to wait for the words of the Royal Family and the Temple of Light. 

And the government believes, the words they would say, would surely set the world back straight. They were sure they could bring peace to both the nation and netizens. 

But for now, they just sit tight, watching the events unfold, waiting for the Royal Family and Temple of Light to make any final decision about the whole incident.

Somewhere in the Temple of Light. 

"So, what do you think will happen?" asked a young woman. She was wearing a white dress with her hair naturally flowing.

"We don't have to do anything. What's happening right now is natural events that would unfold at any moment, and that time has surely arrived." The man with silver eyes said. 

"We just have to wait." 

"Wait for what? Let me remind you, soon, the Temple of Light will soon fall!" stomping her heels, "Don't you have any idea in that head of yours-" 

The man looked at her, his silver eyes glimming under the moonlight, "Shall I remind you your position, Princess." 

"This Temple, is in charge of everything."
