Right, not a king rat. No, It's much worse than that. Why? Why did it have to be now?

Before my eyes a rat two times my size faced me. Its red beady eyes glowed daggers in my direction.

Its size may even be bigger than that spider I ate. Unfortunately, this is not the same as that big spider.

Back in the modern world, Yaks were bulls that are harmless to humans but unfortunately picked off as human's meals.

There's no way I would eat this yak if it ever existed in my old world.

I swallowed, but in this world, it was completely different.

The howling of an angry mommy. If I don't kill her here, she'd be a pain in my ass!

 

Admin Leo: [Master, be careful! That Mommy Rat isn't like the others!]

 

I kind of understood that the moment I saw it! I can't keep hesitating, if it's a battle it wants, it's a battle it gets!

I faced that Monster Rat, even though my life was on the line. But the laws of nature had one thing nothing could avoid.

I slithered towards the giant rat and used my Farming skill to do a side swing as I passed her.

I somehow managed to make a strike into her stomach,

She screeches and slides a bit, then turns to face me. Her rage must be her steroid because she looked pretty unfazed by that hit just now.

I could see the blood oozing from her stomach. Is she that pissed that she doesn't know that she's been hurt?

She charged at me again. Her head was lowered and her steps were a bit quicker.

This battle was going to end faster than I expected. This Rat has no battle sense, I almost feel bad for it.

No. Survivor of the fittest! If I don't kill it then I become the food.

"Let's end it here!"

I have to make it a fatal blow this time.

A few minutes later I stood gasping for air. After all that, I managed to take it down.

I was already exhausted, but now, I think I just want to sleep here.

One more step to complete the transaction and I can go home.

Skill Gluttony was used to swallow the whole rat. Snakes have powerful stomach-swallowing techniques.

As soon as it went down I felt like a parade announced my victory.

That sounds as if the choice I make will affect my future choices. I better be careful with this.

I finally reached level five and even gained an evolution path, I'm on my way to getting stronger.

Let's see what paths God has down for me to choose from.

 

[Evolution paths: White Mamba Snake

1. Icy White Mamba- The ability to control ice in any form. Will learn low-level ice spells upon becoming an Icy White Mamba. First Evolution Path - Glistening White Mamba - spell learned - Ice Creation.

2. Earth White Mamba - the ability to control Earth, even nature itself. Will resonate with all things that are on earth. All low-level spells related to Earth will be learned. First Evolution Path - Horned White Mamba - spell learned - Earth Sound

Even if the Evolution path is changed in the future all Icy or Earth abilities are kept by the user. This path does not mean that the user will immediately become the evolution race. You work hard on the path to evolution. What path will the user choose?

 

Wow, these choices are no joke. If I choose Icy White Mamba, I can learn spells related to ice. It sounds cool, I mean Glistening White Mamba sounds like something pretty.

But, I'm not that into the whole pretty thing. Honestly, it's too much of a cliche for my taste.

As for the Earth White Mamba, who wouldn't want to have horns?

It's probably not a great idea to pick a path based on features alone, but....it's horns.

This must be the start of evolution.

My shape, it's growing bigger, some of my scales have turned grey mixing in with my white scales, and on top of my head, three meters apart, there are horns.

Small, stubby, and cute horns have appeared on top of my snake head. Why would a human be excited by horns?

Isn't it obvious? I'm no longer a human and horns are super cool!

All the sparkling lights lost effect and I was now standing there in my new form.

 

Admin Leo: [Congradulations Master, for evolving and becoming a Horned White Mamba.]

I made a new step forward. A new evolution and a chance to grow stronger. But now, the others should also grow stronger, I can't be the only one.

Ah, but that new spell, I should check it out later.

I proceeded to the exit and found a set of stone stairs outside the tunnel leading up.

I climbed them all the way to the top and was met with a rock wall that had a secret.

It was a hidden door that opened by pressing a hidden stone slab.

It slides open and I was met with eight pairs of familiar eyes looking in my direction.

"It's Leader! She's alive!"

I was bombarded by four lively snakes, I almost forgot these four faces.
