Chapter 5: 5- Oscar The Wrestler

"Bang!"

The frog headed lizards tongue smashed the location Oscar was in a second ago, cracking the few rocks in place of his body

Assuming from what he had seen, That frog headed lizard uses his tongue as the main weapon which, whilst being fast as lightning bolt. Its weakness was apparent, It can only do the long ranged attacks as it needs momentum to build force behind its every strike 

'Just like with wizards you have to get closer to them to deal with their long ranged strikes, hopefully this frogy lizard would be physically weak just like them... Hopefully' fingers crossed, he dodged another lashing of that gooey tongue lashing his way. As he leaped from one place to another

"Swush!"

Fortunately, His hearing was greater than that monsterous tongue hitting the wind right after coming out his mouth, making it easier for Oscar to know when the attack will come its way and when he dodge 

"Bang!"

With another leap, Oscar came closer to him but just when he was about to aim that monsters wide reptilian eyes as planned before hand 

"!!!" Unexpectedly, it skittered back with a speed Oscar didn't considered possible for his size before that monster lashed out his gooey tongue right at his face with a speed he couldn't evade

"Ghaaaa!"

Screaming, Oscar hurriedly tried to bash it with his right claw only to get it caught within its grasp making him almost lose his balance and fell down

"Crack!" 

Utilizing all his remaining limbs to its maximum strength, Oscar barely able to stop himself from getting pulled away in that wide mouth just like that black squirrel

"Ghiiiii!" 

Gritting his teeths loudly, he tried to pull out his entrapped hand with his entire might only to know the extent of that monsters grip was identical to a dragons claw grasping his hand

'Fuckkk!' He cursed his bad luck to encounter this damned frogy lizard

"Urgh!" The spots he was holding onto, was also  starting to crack as he felt the strain was becoming greater and greater at the joints of his limbs against his torso 

Knowing, if he didn't do anything he might lose this tug of war. Oscar mustered his courage while cursing aloud in mind

'I

Fucking

Hate 

Frogs!'

"Khaaa!" 

He chomped down that tongue, piercing his sharp jagged up jaws as fast as he could. Tearing its fleshly thick tongue making it bleed profusely 

Oscar didn't stop from just one or two chomps, like a madman/goblin out for blood. He fervently attacks with his jaws from every angle he could all the while the frog lizard thrashed its head with angery growls making his entrapped hand to twist in an unnatural ways with its shoulder bone cracked 

His jaws only digs deeper as the time went and finally

"Khuurrrrrr!" As quick as that monster attacked, it tried to retract back its bloodied mangled tongue which Oscar didn't let the opportunity go to waste 

Grasping firmly back at the losen tongue with his both hand as he withstand the pain and the numbness, Oscar let go all his hold and let his body to free fall using that monsters tongue as rope 

"Khaaarrrr!" It wastes no time from pulling back its damaged tongue without noticing that goblin riding it

"Ghheee!"

"Bang!"

Oscar crashed landed near its tail, though not as intended. He swiftly sprang forth with toes digging into the surface and the damaged hand gripping its tail. Oscar hacked the nearby leg with his claw as fast as he could

'Now you feel how it felt having your limb dislocated and detached huh bastard!' Like a wood cutter on a cutting spree, Oscar kept piercing and pulling its bloodied muscles out 

"Khrrrraaaaa!!!"

As the blood splashed on his body, it gives Oscar a natural monstrous look with little resemblance of a former human 

'Huh?!' Before he could react, The frogy lizard runs away as it shrieks in pain with its now only three legs, pulling Oscar as he didn't let go of its tail 

Maintaining his balance by wrapping himself on top of the lizard twice his size, Oscar grins before continuing his slashing yet another leg joint making it shriek louder as some blood dripped down the path below

Though it would his end, if the lizard dropped down with him on its back 

When a turn came, the monster lizard slowed down a bit, Oscar digs his both stubby yet sturdy legs aside. As he wrapped his two hands at the lizards torso with one being almost numbed to the stinging pain

"Ahhhhh!"

He put his entire might in lifting the frogy lizard lower body with an action that can be mistaken from a kid trying to pull trees roots out the soil but little Oscar was hell bent on performing his favourite move against the frogy lizard

'Take my, German suplex!!!' 

Determined, he internally shoutout the name of the move he used to watch but never able to perform 

"Ahhhh!" With the monster already losing its one leg and second leg being damaged more than enough, it wasn't hard to make it lose the grip from the lower half body, making it dangle down with a little goblin attached to it's tail

Failed to maintain its balance with just two front legs, the frogy lizard dropped down as its body rotated midair because of the goblins hanging like a pendulum on its tail

"Boom!" The monster crashed its head against the spikey gravels below, puncturing its skull but still alive

"Urbgd!" Coming out the rubbles, Oscar furiously shakes his head getting rid of some dizziness and when he saw the monster still alive, he quickly jumps on top of its head before raising his hands... Or he tried

His right arm remains motionless, startled Oscar quickly plunged his only working hand deep inside of the monsters skull ending its life before trying to touch his injured arm only to felt nothing from it! 

"Huh?!" 

As the level up notification comes, Oscar saw his body glowing in a magical blue light making him feel warm all over. As his previously drowsy mind became active and his fatigue gone but more importantly... He could feel his 'lost' arm back as his hand loses the unnatural paleness and glowed back in a natural Goblins green

'A free healing?' He guessed for getting a heal up followed by the level up screen

'So I was indeed poisoned...' He didn't noticed his condition before as his mind was also affected from it 

'Yea, who would check their status in the middle of the fight... It wasn't a video game where a health bar will always present at the top of my head... Though, I admit I was too into the brawl that i neglected the early signs, not that I could do anything other than running away and dying alone somewhere in dark

If not for this level up I might have perished together with this shit' he kicks the limp skull under him before shrugging 

'Guess, I have to be more careful in the future hmm?' 

Oscar glanced at his dark surroundings and noticed the smell of blood oozing near him while his ears was picking subtle vibrations from the monsters footsteps trying to sneak at his direction

'Let's dig as much as I can before running from the crime scene' wiping his drool, Oscar showed a hungry smile

'Itadaki masu!'
