'So, this thing is Time Stone? What about Tesseract?'
[That's the Space Stone.]
'She said it's a weapon that protects Earth from Extra Dimensional Threat. Can you teach me how to use it?'
[Yes. It could be done. If you can open it.]
Cloud summoned the Keyblade, which turned into a black glove with silver studs at the centre and a light came out of it, unlocking the enchantment on the Pendant, revealing the green gem inside, 'What now.'
[Hah. Finally, something to brag about.]
Cloud rolled his eyes, reading the information sent to his head. It wasn't all that hard. If he used Haste, Slow, Stop, then the Time Stone would enhance those spells and give him more freedom.
"Wow! What is that?!"
Cloud raised his eyes to find a little girl standing before him, grinning as she looked at the pendant, "A bald woman gave it to me."
"A bald woman?"
"Monk," Cloud said, "Shouldn't you be inside?"
"Yeah," She curled her lips, "They don't think I am grown enough. Why would a Monk give you that?"
"Dunno."
"Oh," She smiled, remembering, "They are calling you inside."
Cloud patted her head, "Next time. Tell me that first."
The girl giggled, sticking out her tongue as she followed after him as he entered inside. From what he could tell, the mood inside was heavy, and Harry was standing in one corner without daring to breathe.
"What?"
"I think this is where you give everyone an explanation," Fury shrugged, enjoying the fact that he was in trouble.
Cloud looked at Vers and Maria, watching him, and snapped his fingers, "I'll show you."
Be it Vers, Maria, Maria's daughter, Harry, and especially Fury; they were surprised to see what they saw a change, a place they hadn't gone to.
"You must be Wendy Lawson."
"You know me, and I know you too," Wendy pointed a gun at them, "Coming out of nowhere, turning a Scorpio into a binocular or a broom into a bike? Riding at more than 400km/hr? From where are you?"
They watched as the brown-haired girl stepped forward, "Miss Wendy Lawson…No, maybe I should call you Mar-Vell. Did you see all that from the base above the Earth?"
"You know where my lab is and who I am? Which planet are you from?"
The girl bowed, "I am Aerith Gainsborough, and I am the seer who saw you die in three days."
Cloud spoke up, "It was six years ago that Aerith saw her death. She doesn't see every death, but only the ones that cause mass casualties."
"Uh…you want us to ignore all that turning Scorpio into a Binocular, Broom into Bike part?"
"Simple Transfiguration. I was young six years ago. About 11 years old. It was through Transfiguration that we took adult forms."
"Ok, so you are seventeen?" Maria raised her eyebrows.
"Almost 18."
"Right," Vers exchanged a look with Maria, and Fury pulled them back on track, "Ok. Did you go to save her?"
"Yes and No."
Their surroundings changed, and another scene appeared in front of them. One where Mar-Vell was struggling, pleading.
"Aren't you a Seer…? Don't you know why I am making Light Speed Engine? Do you wish to take their hope away and leave them dead?!"
She stepped forward, taking her hand, which was stiff because of the spell, "I understand; we understand how much is on your shoulder and how much this works to you and for that race. It saddens me to say, in three days, fate decree's that you will die, and Light Speed Engine must be destroyed, and it's one that I am not sure we could change. That is why we are preparing a backup in case of your death if we fail to save you. We'd have something that could help those people make this trip. It might be a one-way trip without the whole energy source."
"For that race? To save them? Why do I feel she is not talking about the Kree?"
"She's not," Cloud shook his head, and another scene appeared when hundreds of Skrulls walked out of a chamber in a ship, "She was talking about Skrulls."
"Skrulls? The Race that invades other planets and rules over them?"
"Who told that?" Cloud asked Fury.
"She?"
"And who told her that?"
It barely took a moment for Fury to realise; he would have even if Cloud didn't ask that question, "Propaganda?"
"Yeah. Skrulls had already lost their planet, and their people had become refugees all over the galaxy. All they wanted was a place to live, but they couldn't. Not in places where Kree Empire could reach, and so Mar-Vell wished to make the Light Speed Engine, to end the war between the two races."
"She always said our work was to end all wars," Maria muttered.
"No, but I saw them! They…" Vers sat down, "So I am guessing…you didn't manage to save her?"
"No, we did. The one we failed to save was you," Cloud sighed, and their surrounding changed again.

They saw an energy bullet making its way for Mar-Vell when Cloud appeared, deflecting the bullet with an invisible shield.
"Who are you?" Danvers wasn't sure who he was or what just happened while Mar-Vell couldn't help but sit up, "It's you."
Cloud narrowed his eyes without replying to her when the man walked out from the dust, holding the pistol, "Oh, a native managed to stop my attack. But swords, this planet is still so primitive, or are they some technology?"
The man turned his eyes towards Mar-Vell, "Mar-Vell, you have fallen so much. To think you would help those Skrulls. I will kill you myself."
"You are not going to get to her!" "You won't be touching her!"
They only saw that Cloud's body was thrown backwards as the energy came out from the man's gauntlet, and the other girl appeared.
She lashed her leg out, slamming it into Yon-Rogg face, pushing him back.
"Hmph, weak," Yon-Rogg slammed his palm on Tifa's stomach, using Gravity powers he got from the gloves to shove her back.
Cloud barely landed on his feet when Mar-Vell raised her gun.
She apologised, "Sorry…."
"Nooo!!!" Yon Rogg shouted, but he couldn't stop the bullet or the explosion that happened right after, releasing immense energy that hit Carol Danvers and Tifa.
And everything around them disappeared, "She didn't want to let them get their hands on the Light Speed Engine. No matter what. But she wasn't dead, and nor where you."
Cloud showed an image of Carol lying on the ground, and bluish energy covered her body, "You were covered in that energy. You somehow absorbed the power of that blast and gained Super Powers. We wanted to make sure to let him think that you were dead by changing a slight bit of his memory, but even if we did that, he would think that humans have the potential to be experimented on."
Cloud stopped, "We were kids. We barely had control over our powers. Change a little bit of someone's memory, and there is a chance they might find out. Change much of it, and they will fight as Kree did with you. So, that day. We could only save Mar-Vell, but they were suspicious because we changed the memory and never found the body. Her lab in space and the source of energy, Tesseract. They took all of it, and you."
Cloud fast-forwarded, "Suddenly, we were responsible for a whole race and saving you. Mar-Vell couldn't create another ship that big, not with the resources on Earth and what government would provide. We divided the Skrulls into teams, and they went deep undercover, stealing military equipment, tanks, planes, and everything that could be used to make a spaceship to carry more than a thousand people. Since their goal was to save other Skrulls, the size increased even more."
"That was you!"
"Shh!" The little girl put her finger on her lips, making Fury shut his mouth grudgingly.
Cloud continued, "A few years back, they managed to do it, and alongside a few scientists from Earth that helped us out, she went to space to save the Skrulls and…you."
"Me?"
"A month ago, she told us that you escaped in a pod and were coming to Earth, but at that time, something else was going on at Earth. It would have been chaos if you had landed, so we had to stop your time in Space."
"Stop in time? Now that's a bit much," Fury just said when Cloud pointed at Harry, "Stop."
A white gear appeared, covering Harry, and his shocked expression was stopped in time. Fury even tried to poke Harry's cheek, backing away since he didn't feel anything.
"Since you were stopped in time, there were no life signals, and how hard do you think it is to find a pebble in space? Kree couldn't find you, and we waited until your time started moving again, and I followed you. To see if you recover your memory on your own."
"If I hadn't?"
"I would have helped you."
"Why not help from the start?"
"You didn't like someone helping you the first time, or you wouldn't be here."
"Right…."
Harry was freed from the spell, and Fury looked at Cloud, "Can you stop anyone in time for a month?"
"No. Someone helped us do that. She gave me this…the thing she thought might come in use," Cloud took out a pendant, and still wearing his Keyblade as a glove, he opened it, showing a green crystal, "It possesses the same level of energy that Tesseract does. All that differs is their nature."
"Nature?"
"Tesseract controls Space. This one controls—Time," Cloud placed his palm on the table, using the telekinetic force, and it broke apart.
"What are you doing? My table," Maria angrily said when she saw a green ring appear on Cloud's wrist, and the broken table started to go back reverse in time and reform.
"Time…" Fury widened his eyes, "And here I thought nothing could surprise me anything."
"Well. Now. The real reason I am tailing you," Cloud looked into Denver's eyes, "I need your help saving the universe."
"That…escalated," Maria muttered, "I am still not over the time part!"
"And she is right! Even if there were a threat to the universe, we wouldn't talk about it so publicly."
"Time Stone can bend time. What do you think the Space Stone can bend?"
"Space!" Maria's daughter snapped her fingers, grinningly answering.
Cloud got down on his knee, patting her head, "Right, Space. In the hands of an Empire, and if I remember correctly, Supreme Intelligence that rules over them is a Supercomputer? Mar-Vell was a genius, but it didn't take her much to turn that thing into the Power Source, and the Kree are probably already experimenting on making more Super Soldiers like you. Or worse, they know what it is and plan to use it. Teleport wherever they like, whenever they like."
Cloud stopped, letting that sink in, and he walked away from them, finding a place to sit. He became lost in thought and slowly spoke.
"Years ago. I knew she would die, her mentor…and I saw too much of myself in her situation. I wanted to save Mar-Vell…and I did. But doing so…I might have doomed the whole universe for a war it never asked. I want to stop it, and I need your help with it."
Fury's eyes were as wide and red as they could be when he said, "Tell me you have a plan."
Cloud didn't answer him, he watched Carol Danvers, who stared back at him, and Monica's bright eyes, watching her before she raised her chin in Fury's direction, "What about it? You have a plan, right?"
"Yes. I have a plan."
