Chapter 217 -I am just an old mother struggling with my moral standards. (4)
Boarding started after 30 minutes time.
Gu Nian and Lin XiaoXiao, with their business-class tickets in hand, walked past the long line and had priority boarding.
Gu Nian was still surprised even when they were inside of the walkway. “I can’t tell whether the production team of Gold-Medal Screenwriter is generous or frugal anymore. Are they flying everyone business class?”
“The trip is not a short one. Business class will be more comfortable. Besides……”
Gu Nian looked up curiously. “Besides?”
“Besides, business class in this model only has two seats side by side.”
Luo Xiu brought the boarding pass that he was still holding in his hand next to Gu Nian’s and, leaning down to immediately next to her forehead, there was a melodious, low and dull smile in his voice, “It makes a perfect couple, no?”
“––“
Gu Nian froze on the spot.
She walked through the corridor mechanically, mechanically walked inside the cabin while the air stewardess was smiling at her and, again, mechanically arrived at her seat inside the business class under the guidance of the air stewardess……
Gu Nian finally recollected herself when she sat down inside the spacious seat inside the cabin.
Her cheeks were bright red and they were burning.
Gu Nian only wanted to smack that little person in her mind with the crazy ideas silly and then stomp on them––
Her precious son was referring to the seats being a pair!
No crazy thoughts allowed!!
Right when Gu Nian was crazily smacking herself in her mind and trying to bring her conscience and motherly nature back, she heard a super tender voice that seemed like it was coming from the sky.
“May I help you with your seatbelt?”
“Su-……” Gu Nian blurted out but the tone of the last syllable raised up as she turned her head blankly, “…..-re??”
“Thank you.”
The man smiled tenderly. Once he had gotten permission, he had already reached out and pulled up the seatbelt that was dangling to her side.
The air seemed to have been pressed thin and Gu Nian’s nose was enveloped by a light and fragrant manly scent.
She wasn’t certain if that seatbelt was particularly tricky. Luo Xiu seemed to have spent a lot of time adjusting it.
Gu Nian struggled to keep her mind pure. She wanted to adjust her body a little.
“Don’t move.” She was stopped by the tender but burning atmosphere right up next to her. “I am almost done.”
“……”
Gu Nian’s brain was drawing a blank.
The air stewardess came in from the front of the cabin. She seemed to be ready to take their beverage request but stopped after just taking one step. Giving the two figures that were stacked together an understanding and regretful look, she smiled and nodded at the dazed Gu Nian before lowering her head and walking back out considerately.
Gu Nian, “…………?”
It really isn’t what you think, Sister Air Stewardess!
But Gu Nian couldn’t possibly explain herself. She had probably already lost her ability to speak right now.
Her rationality still remained in her head but her body wouldn’t follow her commands. She could only hold her breath as she stiffened up between the man’s body and the seat. Her heart seemed to want to take off before she did.
At this rate, Gu Nian felt that she would either stop breathing or self-combust.
Luckily, before either one of those took place, the naughty seatbelt fairy finally let out a moaning sound and snapped together with a CLACK.
“Done.”
Luo Xiu looked up and leaned back into his own seat.
Leaning back into his seat, Luo Xiu looked at Gu Nian tenderly and asked, baffled, “Are you hot?”
Gu Nian looked up slowly like a dazed sloth, “Huh….?”
Luo Xiu lifted up his hand and it seemed like he was about to touch her cheek. His cold, fair, and slender fingers stopped short a few millimeters from the girl’s cheek and returned back to his side with restraint.
“I apologize.” Luo Xiu smiled apologetically. He gestured at Gu Nian’s cheek. “Your cheeks are very red, like you are having a heat stroke.”
Gu Nian, “…………”
Gu Nian, That’s not true!!
Gu Nian, I’m just an useless old mother who couldn’t resist the temptation and was struggling desperately on the edge of her conscience. QAQ
