Sorrow of The Dark God takes place during Quest 164.
This short series is closer to what I had originally planned for the main series but opted out of it due to me really liking Ai.

In this alternative Erebus convinced Alfia and Zald to go after Ai. Alfia ignored the Astraea Familia and went after Ai directly.
Stuck between the Nightmare and Alfia, Ai fought as hard as she can.
Nox fought as best as she could but if she fought with everything it would put Cirrus’ life in danger. Between her contractor and his lover she chose him over her.
