Chapter 79: Chapter 71 Post “disaster” Discussion

Lucy's POV

I didn't sleep well... definitely... the news is just too shocking... sure I have met a god, but it's because of the reincarnation. I thought it would be a one-time thingy. Not to mention, this is another god other than the one reincarnating me... and she even helped Bel evolve into something rare... not to mention, the commotion she caused yesterday... I still even have to think of a way to give her a suitable punishment that will make everyone happy... 

You know what? Let's stick to the way Earth does things, good old civil services.

" Freaking hell... what time is it now... the sky is still so dark... if I had to guess, 7 am or something like that... urgh... 

I sit up from the bed and tried to get out of it and stand up, then I realized. 

" Oh yeah, I'm missing a leg... still haven't accustomed to it..." I said to myself... at the very least, I wouldn't be like this forever. Bel would help me get back my leg.

As I went out of my room, I instantly smell something good. Cooking this early? Cant be Mikael since he isn't really an early person. Plus, this doesn't really smell like his cooking. This means, it has to be Bel... how much sleep did she even have?

" Ah, calm down kids, I will get them ready as soon as possible, you guys want good food, right? Then you all have to wait." Bel said as she is cooking four pots of stew, using all of the stoves in the house. Damn, I saw Mikael multitasking between four stoves with a helper, yet Bel here is just doing it all by herself... hmmm, I got an idea for the punishment~

" You sure woke up quite early Bel, did you have a good sleep?" I said to her.

" Well yeah, I realized that after evolving I need less sleep than before, or should I say I get tired less? Or maybe I recover faster? Doesn't matter, if only I have this ability back on Earth, I would definitely binge-watch anime and also farm those gacha games hard." Bel said as she continues to multitask between various stuff.

" Anyways, since you are awake and is cooking stuff, give me some of it too. Also, I have decided on what punishment I would give you." I said to her.

" I hope you aren't thinking of something like prostitution or shaming me right?" Bel said... you aren't thinking about dirty things aren't you? Bad!

" Nah, I thought you could go to the town orphanage to cook lunch and also have a food kitchen in the town center. Just like how people do when back on Earth, you know public services." I said to her as she start to pour out the stew to everyone myself included of course.

" Hmm, tasted so good... what are the ingredients?" I asked her while enjoying it. The kids are also having fun drinking delicious stews. Man, imagine if Bel just somehow replaced Mikael's role in this place, he would definitely be devastated.

" Hmm, just some carrot stuff, something called surato to replace potato and also some pork. I must say, having gamey meat definitely tasted better when you hunt it on your own~" Bel said as she finally distributed all of the stew and got some for herself.

" So you said food kitchen, huh, I don't mind, where should I get the materials though? Meat isn't a problem as I think a short hunt would be more than enough. The other stuff such as the veggies and carbs are stuff that I don't know how to get other than buying it. And you know how it went when I last use the human coins." she said as she started drinking the stew. 

" I can supply you some, not to mention, it would be unreasonable to tell you to start a food kitchen without providing you ingredients right? I will write to some of the orphanages in this town to tell you about the plan and also the mayor about the food kitchen stuff, so you just have to go there and cook. Alright?" I said.

" Sure thing, but er, maybe help guide me? I am still new to the town." Bel said.

" Later ask Amy, May, or Christine if they're interested in guiding you. Judging by them, I think May and Amy would be a better answer. don't ask me though, I am still tired of what happened today. Not to mention I have plans later." I replied. Truthfully, it's not really a lot of stuff, just making sure that I prepped enough to go back to Heartforge. There is some stuff that is hard to buy there after all.

" Alright then, also, in case the stew I made is not enough for you guys, I made some extra and put it at that table there. I know there is a lot of people in here so I hope these are enough." Bel said as she pointed to the pots at the side... how early did you woke up to make so many of those...

Damn, yesterday is such a roller coaster... though I must say, having this kind of life is definitely way better than back at home... at the very least I don't have to face piles and piles of paperwork and can just do whatever I wanted... some things that I wanted. Or maybe ask Bel to help me a bit with the paperwork... she is good at them back on earth after all. Speaking of which... what time it is... 

*knock knock*

" It is me, Lucy, are you finally awake? I have something to talk about with  you Petry, can I come in?" Lucy said. Urgh so early in the morning... cant I have a better vacation...

" Just come in, quick I wanna take another nap..." I replied groggily.

" I don't think you will want to take a nap after this though... didn't you have to go and check the stuff that Bel got? I told her to leave it at the storeroom since I had her to do something today." Lucy said... there goes my rest time... is this what they call a corporate slave? Doing work all day and night...

" Whatever... be quick..." I said as I start to tidy myself.

" It is about Bel, what should we do after we brought her back to Heartforge? Clearly letting her stay at your house is not a good idea... her race alone will attract a lot of people, not to mention her evolutions too. That will definitely make her a target in everyone's eyes." Lucy said. Well, she is right, but where else should we put her.

" It is not like we could just put her into the lava. Nobody could live in the lava except the fire elementals." I said while I start to brush my teeth using a leaf. Well, clean would be a better term. The toothbrush isn't that widespread yet and I forgot to bring mine.

" Wait... that is actually a good idea... Bel could cool down a patch of lava in the center which would form a moat! With that nobody would interrupt her right?" Lucy said.

" How are we supposed to go there then. You can't expect her to fly us all there every time. Plus, if she cools down in the middle only, the thing would just float away or just melt back down." I said. Lucy should be the clever one, but she also gives quite dumb ideas.

" Just tell her to cool the lava that is near some of those rock pillars then it's fine. Just tell her to come to pick us up. I am sure she wouldn't mind." I told her as I start to choose an outfit for today. It's probably going to be a smith outfit as I would probably be tinkering with the ores.

" But you just said that she wouldn't carry us all the time," Lucy said.

" Just don't visit all the time, now anything else? If there is turn around, I want to change, if not go out." I said as I took out the smith outfit and a t-shirt.

" Is that really alright with you? Leaving her on a random island in a huge lava lake? Considering what she has gone through?" Lucy said while turning over. I never thought you're such a brave girl huh, didn't you have a girlfriend already? If you are going the harem route, I am definitely kicking your arse.

" Precisely because she passed through that. Heck, she might even want to do that herself. Judging by how she was when playing games with us, she would definitely want to make her own little base somewhere near us. Don't worry too much alright? There is nobody that could beat her in this continent after all of that. If anything, the only thing that could kill her is probably herself." I said lifting off my pajamas.

" You are really changing with me in here... didn't know you were this kind of person Petry... did I make a wrong decision of taking you as a little sister? Anyways, the problem still remains on how do we get there though." Lucy said. Well, isn't it your idea to stay here while I'm changing? Why are you talking as if I am the one at wrong now?

" Just ask her to teach us some teleportation skills. Some records in the grand library mentioned teleportation skills so I think she should be able to teach us that. Also, if you peek, I am sending you to listen to Christine's old records." I said as I put on my smith outfit after wearing the shirt and short pants. 

" That... is true... well I guess that is enough... plus you finished changing so I might as well go eat breakfast with you, don't you think?" Lucy said, hmmm breakfast... 

" Oh  yeah, what did you tell Bel to do?" I asked.

" Oh well, just what you would do back on Earth when you did a crime, just some social services~ plus Amy and May is with her so she definitely won't be lost. Now let's go, I am starting to feel hungry after all that talking." Lucy said as she 'stands' up and fly out of the room. Social services huh, so healing people up and helping with menial tasks huh, shouldn't really go wrong with Amy and May with her anyways~ but a house in the middle of lava huh, interesting... maybe if she really pulls it off, I could ask her to make a second one for me.

But I feel like I am forgetting something though... whatever, time to see what Bel got for me~
