Chapter 44: Chapter 39 – Operation Vendetta ( Part 1 )

As Fox lays down on the table the two masks he picked from his backpack, he proceeds to discuss his operation in mind.

[ Fox ] : " ....now. About my plan. I decided to name it “Operation: Vendetta”. "

Staniek and Aida are curious about Fox's plan.

[ Staniek ] : " S-so, Sir Fox, what about this “Operation: Vendetta” of yours? "

Fox then smiles as he lays out his plan for Operation Vendetta:

The procedures are as follows:

>First

- DUSTROOM will standby to provide Base of Communications and backup support between FOXTROT Elements, to Arkson Base.

>Second

- When AZULURE has been spotted, FOXTROT Elements will follow and stalk AZULURE.

>Third ( SCENARIO A )

- if AZULURE ISN'T ordered to go to another location: upon AZULURE's arrival to Site Alpha-Bravo, FOXTROT Elements will quickly █████ AZULURE A.S.A.P. ( use of lethal force is authorized ).

- upon ███████ of AZULURE, FOXTROT Elements will quickly ███████ AZULURE into Site Hotel-Alpha. or to another secured undisclosed location.

- upon ████████ AZULURE and all of its packages, FOXTROT Elements will proceed to Objective #02.

>Third ( SCENARIO B )

- if AZULURE IS ordered to go to another location: upon AZULURE's arrival to another site, FOXTROT Elements will ██████████ inside the site area/building.

- if Site Vengeance House is the AZULURE's destination, FOXTROT Elements will also ██████████ inside, to proceed with the objectives.

- if it's at another site, proceed with Objective #01 first, then Objective #02.

After Fox lays out his entire operation, Staniek and Aida are stumped.

This is their first time seeing this kind of very detailed mission planning.

- Especially Staniek. He stares at the paper where Fox wrote the operation information.

Then, he looks back at Fox.

[ Staniek ] : " This...this may be rude but, how can we initiate this kind of operation? How can we fight - "

Staniek's eyes then widened as he looked at Fox's MP5KSD.

[ Staniek ] : " ....wait. You mean. Are we're gonna use that?

As he points to Fox’s MP5KSD* "

Fox then grins as he grabs his SMG.

[ Fox ] : " Yes. But we're not using this particular thing. This is mostly used primarily on personal protection or what we could call "PDW", which means “Personal Defense Weapon". So, this kind of gun isn't fitted for assaulting, or for high-value operations. Wait a moment. "

Fox then opens his hud and selects his Inventory Space System.

*click!*

As Fox opens his hud, Staniek and Aida are bewildered.

[ Aida ] : " ..Whoa! Dad! It's shining blue! "

Staniek, while staring at Fox's hud, responds.

[ Staniek ] : " I know hon'. Still, I can't believe such a thing existed, Sir Fox. "

[ Fox ] : " Hehe. Yeah. "

Fox then puts off his MP5KSD and its magazines inside his inventory and spawns in front of him:

- an MK-18 Block 2 rifle  with four 5.56 magazines

As Fox magically spawned the rifle from his hud, Staniek, and Aida are extremely bewildered.

[ Aida ] : " Wow! "

[ Staniek ] : " I-is that the same as that weapon? Sir Fox? "

[ Fox ] : " Yes. But this...*

As Fox grabs the MK18 rifle and presents it to them.

[ Fox ] : " …..is what we called a 'rifle', but not the same type as those musket rifles. This particular type of gun is mainly used in wars, battles, and high-value operations in our modern world. "

[ Staniek ] : " O-oh! I see. "

[ Fox ] : " Now, for the summoning. Come on you two. Let's head outside. "

[ Staniek ] : " O-okay, Sir Fox. "

As the three went outside of Staniek's makeshift house, and into the hidden alleyway, Fox uses his hud again to summon other SOF’s.

 

As Fox picks his summoning of choice., the female voice announced:

"Spawn Function Detected..."
"Confirm "6 Special Forces for: 6 Souls?"..."

 

Staniek and Aida are startled by the female voice.

[ Staniek ] : " Who-who was that, Sir Fox? "

Fox then looks at Staniek.

[ Fox ] : " Haha. Don't worry, General. It's just the voice of the angel that summoned me here. I don't know why she used her voice to be used in this system. Not that I mind it though. "

 

Fox then agrees to the summoning.

*click!*

A magic circle then illuminates the ground.

 

Aida closes her eyes and hides behind his father, while Staniek stares at the magic circle with amazement.

The magic circle then summons the six SF Operators and they salute Fox.

He then proceeds to designate the six SF Operators by:

- F-12, F-13, F-14, F-15, F-16, and F-17

 

*beeeeep!*

"Naming. Accomplished..."

 

While on the other hand, Staniek and Aida are still bewildered.

Fox then loaded their gear and armor as same as him and then copied the MK-18 Block 2 rifle six more times for the six new FOXTROT Operators.

 

*beeeeep!*

*Loadout. Complete...”

 

After that, Fox proceeds to order four FOXTROT Operators to guard the hidden alleyway, while two operators provide overwatch of the Southern Entrance and Archives Building through the overwatch spot on the flat rooftop that Fox spotted before.

Staniek and Aida watch the six new FOXTROT Operators go to their designated spots with amazement.

As the six FOXTROT Operators went to their designated positions, Fox then gave his suppressed Glock 19 to Staniek.

[ Fox ] : " I know you are an expert when it comes to swordsmanship. I have faith in your skills. But, let me teach you how to use this kind of pistol. So that if ever your sword can't solve your problems, you have a backup weapon. "

Staniek then determinedly agreed.

[ Staniek ] : " U-understood, Sir Fox. "

Fox then proceeded to teach Staniek how to use a pistol.

For Fox's view, a pistol is more than enough for Staniek to use for Operation Vendetta. He chose to use a person's most skillful weapon of choice, (which is for Staniek, a sword) for greater combat effectiveness during the entire operation, and just have the Glock 19 as a backup weapon of choice.

With that, Fox picks up two pairs of earplugs inside his side pocket for the two to use during the pistol practice.

[ Fox ] : “ And while the subsonic rounds aren't that loud and with a suppressor on, it’s still better to use them for hearing protection. Here. “

He then gives the earplugs to Aida and Staniek and they wear them in their ears.

After that, Fox briefs Staniek on the pistol parts. The automatic feeding of the cartridges, the reloading, and trigger discipline.

Finished with the short briefing, Fox continues to teach Staniek how to use the pistol. The sound of the suppressed Glock 19 and its subsonic 9mm cartridges then echoes inside the hidden alleyway. While Aida hids inside their house as she watches her father outside shoot the pistol.

[ Fox ] : “ Yep that’s good! Now, try shooting those four bottles over there. After that, try to unload the pistol for safety. “

[ Staniek ] : “ U-understood! “

Staniek, still with his trigger finger off the trigger, focuses on the pistol sights and aims at the scattered bottles just a few meters from him.

And, when he is ready to shoot, he slowly puts his finger on the trigger to prepare shooting.

[ Fox ] : “ That’s good. Fire up when ready. “

Tightening his grip on the pistol and finger on the trigger, he begins to shoot.

*PHANG!* *PHANG!* *PHANG!* *PHANG!*

[ Fox ] : “ Nice! Good job, General! “

Immediately recognizing that he hits all the bottles, he lets out his finger off the trigger and looks at Fox.

[ Staniek ] : “ Wha-what is it again that I have to do, Sir Fox? “

[ Fox ] : “ Hold that little button near the grip and the magazine will slide down. But don’t let it drop. “

Staniek then sees the magazine pull and he catches the magazine of the pistol.

[ Staniek ] : “ What’s next again? “

[ Fox ] : “ Rack the slide on top of the pistol and check inside the chamber to see if it’s still loaded. You can rack it repeatedly for extra safety. Also make sure that you are not hooking on the trigger as you do it. “

Doing exactly as Fox told, Staniek, with his finger off the trigger, pulls the rack slide and a 9mm cartridge pops off. He then checks inside the chamber to see if it’s still loaded.

[ Staniek ] : “ Hm. It’s now clear. “

He then again racks it two more times and no cartridge pops off.

[ Staniek ] : “ Is it clear, Sir Fox? “

Fox then checks the racked-off pistol.

[ Fox ] : “ Yep. It is now clear! You can keep the pistol now, General. I’m gonna give it to you. “

[ Staniek ] : “ Wa-wait. Really? “

[ Fox ] : “ Yes. And here is the holster and belt for the extra two pistol mags. Hold it with safety alright, General? “

[ Staniek ] : “ Understood, Sir Fox. “

Staniek grabs the pistol holster attached to a belt with attached pistol magazine pouches that contain the two extra Glock 19 magazines. He also places the used magazine inside one of the mag pouches.

After the pistol training, the three head back inside Staniek's makeshift house, to rest and wait for the AZULURE to come. The three holstered their weapons.

Aida joins them and prepares some bread and biscuits, and sends it to the two men as Fox and Staniek continue to discuss the operation while there is still time.

But then, just after a couple of minutes, Fox’s radio receives a transmission from FOXTROT 17.

*psssh*

[ FOXTROT 17 ] : “ *radio* FOXTROT Actual, FOXTROT 17. Over. “

Staniek and Fox stop discussing the operation as Fox turns on his radio and sets it on loudspeaker.

[ Fox ] : “ *on radio* Go ahead. “

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

[ FOXTROT 17 ] : “ *radio* AZULURE has been spotted! I say again. AZULURE has been spotted! “
