On a peaceful moonlit evening night...

A group of four FOXTROT Operators was emerging from the darkness of the forest as they were on their daily routine patrol for the night.

On each step they take, they carefully check the area with their NODs and loadouts with:

Main Armament: M4 SOPMOD 2.

; Sights - Micro T-1 Aimpoint
; Laser and Light - AN/PEQ-2 / Surefire
; Suppressor - QD Suppressor
; Grip - RVG

- Ammunition:

; Light - Surefire light

; Five 7-round Magazines of .45ACP FMJ

After a couple of minutes, the four operators stumble upon an abandoned 2-story stone ruin building. They all slowly approach the ruined building and set up perimeters.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 Lead ] [ FOXTROT 03 ] : " *whispers on comms* Alright. 05 and 06, here is the spot. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 05 ] : " *whispers on comms* Roger. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 06 ] : " *whispers on comms* Moving in. "

The two designated operators moved into the stone building, while FOXTROT 03 and FOXTROT 04 watched the surrounding area.

FOXTROT 05 and FOXTROT 06 then slowly check inside of the stone building with their rifles drawn to see if there's someone inside.

Upon clearing the last room, they clear the area and declare the all-clear.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 06 ] : " *whispers on comms* Clear. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 05 ] : " *whispers on comms* Clear. FOXTROT 03, coast is clear. This will be our survey point. "

FOXTROT 06 would then get some branches and leaves to cover up the facade and the entrance of the stone building. He also then placed several wires and sounding chimes for security.

After he was done placing them, he went to the upper floor to check up with FOXTROT 05.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 05 ] : " *whispers on comms* FOXTROT 03, we're in position. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 Lead ] [ FOXTROT 03 ] : " *whispers on comms* Alright. You guys can take it from there. 04, with me. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 04 ] : " *whispers on comms* A-firm. "

FOXTROTs 03 and 04 then separate from the stone building to head on to their respective patrol routine.

Meanwhile, back at the stone building, FOXTROTs 05 and 06 are adjusting and setting up their positions.

After they are done setting up their position, they sit back and watch the surrounding area on the second floor with their NODs.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 05 ] : " *whispers* Yeah. This should be fine. What about the hallway? "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 06 ] : " *whispers* Yeah I'm also done. We should get some good views around here. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 05 ] : " *whispers* Nice. I'll call it in. "

FOXTROT 05 then contacts FOXTROT 03 on his comtac.

On their headsets, FOXTROT 03 responds.

Thus, the operators went back to their casual task routine. But, little did they know, something bound was gonna happen to the two operators at the building.

Then, after quite some time, while observing the surrounding area with the help of their night vision devices, footsteps can be heard emanating from the forest.

Quickly noticing this, the two operators then took their gazes into the source of the emanating footsteps.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 05 ] : " *whispers* Hmmm. Well well well. What do we have here? "

As they looked further, they were able to recognize the source of those footsteps -

- There are five hooded men coming out from the darkness of the forest.

The two operators draw their rifles up to the five hooded men and are ready to engage.

But as the hooded men come towards the building tens of meters away, they stop.

Hooded Man 01 : " Is this the right building? "

The Hooded Man 01 asked the other hooded men as he looked at the ruined building with thought.

Hooded Man 02 : " Yes. The boss said that after they are done with the caravan, they will group back here. But, it looks like they have still not arrived here yet. Hm. Why is that I suppose? "

Hooded Man 02 said with confusion.

Hooded Man 01 : " Hm yeah. We still haven't seen some of our men on the way here. Do you think they've gone to another rendezvous place?"

Hooded Man 02 : " I don't know. Perhaps. "

Hooded Man 01 : " Hm. Ok. We will just go inside to spend the night. Tomorrow, we will try to find them, understood? "

Hooded Man 02 : " Yes cap'tn. "

The five hooded men march towards the building. Immediately, they recognize that there are branches and leaves on the front of the building that was purposely placed by someone.

Hooded Man 01 : " Hm? Did they put up these branches and leaves here? "

The captain of the group now suspects that something must've happened and holsters his poisoned sword up. He whispers to his other men to give the order.

Hooded Man 01 : " *whispers* Boys, check if there's still someone inside. "

The other men ready their poisoned knives and swords and remove the branches and leaves at the entrance.

Upon removing the branches and leaves, they then slowly navigate inside with none other than the moonlight shining as their lighting source.

And as one hooded man walks through the entrance, he immediately triggers the wire chimes.

*kling! Kling! kling!*

This made the other hooded men surprised and they began very cautiously about their every step as they slowly moved forward..

One by one, the hooded men check each corner and room. They simply just nod and make hand gestures at each other to maintain silence as they traverse inside the ruined building.

And then, as they slowly approach the stairs leading up to the second floor, the captain goes to the front position.

By that, he signals his men to go up slowly with him as the frontman. They slowly walk upstairs with their poisoned knives and swords were drawn.

Soon, they are now on the second floor. The captain of the hooded men signals his men to check the rooms while he guards the short hallway.

...

As his men went to regroup with him to signal that there is still no one in each of the rooms, the captain then signals the group to follow him to the last room at the end of the hallway. They slowly walk towards the end of the hallway to check the last room.

As they are now at the entrance of the last room, each of them is positioned at both sides of the entrance to prepare to go inside the room.

As the captain readies to signal his men, something rolls down on them that came from inside the room. All of them looked at the strange metallic-can object on the floor.

Hooded Man 01 : *what is this?*

Confused about the strange canned object, they all prepared themselves as to what was going to happen and just looked at each other with confusion.

and then...

*BOOOM!*

Bright light and loud sound overwhelm the five hooded men.

"AARRRGGHHH!!!" as they grunt and are in a state of disorder and shock. Their eardrums rang and broke, and they felt severe dizziness because of the loud explosion of the canned object.

And while they are in disarray, two specialized men quickly rush in to take out the five hooded men. They immediately point their rifles as they walk towards the five hooded men.

While the captain, as he looks at the entrance after his disarray, his time is now.

Hooded Man 01 : " WHA-WHAT HAPPE- "

*BANG! BANG! BANG!*

The captain got shot in the head at a close distance. A part of his frontal lobe was torn into pieces and bits of his brain gushed outside of his skull.

Immediately upon killing the captain of the hooded men, the two operators point to the other hooded men and also begin shooting them.

Hooded Man 03 : " WHAT WAS THAT LOUD NOIS- "

*BANG! BANG! BANG!* *BANG! BANG! BANG!* *BANG! BANG! BANG!*

The hooded man lay dead on the floor with gun holes over his head and chest. But another of the hooded men uses his poisoned sword and starts aimlessly swinging in the air as he is still in disarray about the loud explosion from the canned object.

Hooded Man 04 : " ARGHH! TAKE THIS!! *swings sword aimlessly* "

The hooded man tried to get close to the two men, but he also was shot in the head and chest.

*BANG! BANG! BANG!**BANG! BANG! BANG!**BANG! BANG! BANG!**BANG! BANG! BANG!*

He lays down on the ground lifelessly.

Hooded Man 05 : " WHA-WHAT?* "

*BANG! BANG! BANG!**BANG! BANG! BANG!**BANG! BANG! BANG!*

As another hooded man lay dead on the floor with a destroyed arm and leg.

But fortunately, Hooded Man 02 escaped and went into a safe room as all of this was happening. He heard the loud gunshots resonating throughout the entire building. This made him tremble in fear and decided to stay quiet for minutes.

Minutes passed by, silence. No loud sounds and voices can be heard.

Assuring that it is safe to check the area, Hooded Man 02 peeks through the hallway -

- only to be greeted by two shining green circle eyes and a weapon pointed at him at close range.

The Hooded Man 02 gulped and widened his eyes with horror as he dropped his poisoned sword and raised both arms up in surrender.

Hooded Man 02 : " WAIT WAIT WAIT! I-I CAN EXPLAIN! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! "

As the last hooded man pleads for his life.

FOXTROT 06, while still pointing his suppressed rifle to the surviving hooded man, commands him to put his head down and lay down on the ground.

Meanwhile, FOXTROT 05 checks the area for any possible secondary targets.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 06 ] : " *whispers* Ah shit. Here we go again. "

FOXTROT 06 uttered to himself with annoyance and now contacts FOXTROT 03 through his comtac.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 06 ] : " *whispers on comms* FOXTROT 03, this is FOXTROT 06. Can you read me? Over. "

FOXTROT 03 responds on their headsets.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 Lead ] [ FOXTROT 03 ] : " *whispers on comms* FOXTROT 06, what's the problem? "

Meanwhile, in the headphones of FOXTROT 03, he can hear the loud voice of FOXTROT 06 ordering the hooded man into a secure place.

[ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 Lead ] [ FOXTROT 03 ] : " *whispers on comms* Roger. We'll notify H.Q. about this. We're on our way after that. 03 Out. "

FOXTROT 03 then radios the ongoing situation at H.Q.

Inside the Radio and Communications Building of H.Q., one of the Radio Telephone Operators has his radio received the transmission of FOXTROT 03. Taz 1-4 adjusts his headset and talks to it.

[ H.Q. ] [ Radio Telephone Operator ] [ Taz 1-4 , 4th Bn. ] : " *radio* H.Q. Taz 1-4. "

FOXTROT 03 can be heard through Taz 1-4's headset connected to the radio.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 Lead ] [ FOXTROT 03 ] : " *whispers on radio* H.Q., this is FOXTROT 03, reporting 5.3 klicks of Sector D. FOXTROTS 05 and 06 got T-I-C'd about 300 meters from where we are right now. We are now en-route to there. Requesting the nearest available unit to be on standby. How copy? Over. "

Immediately, Taz 1-4 writes down notes about the situation on his clipboard.

[ H.Q. ] [ Radio Telephone Operator ] [ Taz 1-4 , 4th Bn. ] : " *radio* FOXTROT 03, T-I-C of Two FOXTROT Operators about uhm- Five kilos of Sector D. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 Lead ] [ FOXTROT 03 ] : " *whispers on comms* Roger all, H.Q. "

[ H.Q. ] [ Radio Telephone Operator ] [ Taz 1-4 , 4th Bn. ] : " *radio* Affirmative. We're now assigning the nearest available unit for the QRF. They will contact you guys once they are in position. How copy? "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 Lead ] [ FOXTROT 03 ] : " *whispers on comms* Roger that, H.Q. We're oscar-mike. FOXTROT 03 Out."

As FOXTROT 03 hangs up the line, they move at their locations and head towards the stone ruin building.

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 04 ] : " *whispers* Nice. About time we get some action going. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 Lead ] [ FOXTROT 03 ] : " *whispers* You said it. Now stay frosty. Keep your weapons ready. "

[ H.Q. ] [ FOXTROT Recon Team 1 ] [ FOXTROT 04 ] : " *whispers* Fish-Frost aye! "

The two operators then make their way back to the other FOXTROT Operators in the darkness of the night.
