Harvey finally picked an airplane transport vessel needed for the G.I.D. operation - the C-130 Hercules.

With the Colonel by his side, Harvey asks him if what would be the appropriate variant of the Hercules before he would spawn it to use for the operation as he scrolls down on the variants option under the blueprint.

[ Harvey ] : " Hm. What do you think, Colonel? Should we use the newest variant - MC-130J Commando II? Or just the usual but neat MC-130W Combat Talon I? "

Colonel Hopkins then looks at the hud where a bunch of Hercules variants blueprints are shown.

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Col. Hopkins } : " Well, considering the high level of importance of the operation, I think we should go on the Commando. But then again, they are both special operations qualified. "

[ Harvey ] : " Yeah. I thought so. I have experience riding and jumping off the Combat Talon while training HALO jumps back then. It's also really fitted for that kind of stuff. "

Harvey then went ahead to the side of the hangar to prepare the spawning. But before that, he instructs the Colonel to gather some designated units from the General Aviation department.

The Colonel obliges and uses his radio to contact the head of the departments.

*psssh!*

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. Chief ] [ Nexon 3-11 , 3rd Bn, ] : " *on radio* Understood, Colonel. I will send Nexon 3-12 and Nexon 3-13. "

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Col. Hopkins } : " *radio* Good. I and Sir Harvey are inside Hangar 4. Tell them that this includes the G.I.D. operation and prepare to register another aircraft vessel. "

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. Chief ] [ Nexon 3-11 , 3rd Bn, ] : " *on radio* Understood, Colonel. "

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Col. Hopkins } : " *radio* Good. Dismissed. "

While waiting for the units from the General Aviations department, another incoming radio transmission is called on Harvey's radio.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " *on radio* Sir. Karma 1-1 here. We're finished with the briefing and the designated operation elements are now prepared and standing by. "

Harvey pushed the call button on his radio by his vest to reply back.

[ Harvey ] : " *radio* Rog'. I want you and the operators to come here to Hangar 4. Time for the guys to hop in. "

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " *on radio* Roger that, sir. Hangar 4. On the way. "

Harvey and Colonel Hopkins then study the layout and blueprints of the Hercules variants while waiting for the units to come.

After a few minutes, the two Nexon Units and the G.I.D. Elements are finally gathered inside Hangar 4 where Harvey and the Colonel are.

A quick salute happen and lined up at the side of the hangar. The TIER 1 Operators from G.I.D. already are donned their jump gears and parachutes. Behind them were trailers full of bags containing necessary supplies, gear, clothes, and instruments for their operation.

Harvey opens his hud again and went to its vehicle spawning system. As he scrolls through the hud again, he asks Karma 1-1 and the two Nexon Units from the General Aviation about the aircraft vessel the operators will be using.

[ Harvey ] : " So, Combat Talon? Or the Commando II? "

He asked while looking and showing them the two aircraft blueprints on his hud. The three think for a while as they look and study quick the blueprints.

After a couple of seconds, they finally chose a variant.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. ] [ Nexon 3-13 , 3rd Bn. ] : " We pick the Commando II, sir. It is much easier to maintain than the Combat Talon. "

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. ] [ Nexon 3-12 , 3rd Bn. ] : " Yes, sir. Even though the Combat Talon is enough for the operation, it still lacks Terrain Following and Avoidance features necessary to fly into unknown territories. "

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. ] [ Nexon 3-13 , 3rd Bn. ] : " The Commando II meanwhile, has all of it. Including electronic-warfare capabilities, sir. Karma 1-1 looks at the two Nexons in surprise.

Harvey laughs and immediately switches to the Commando II blueprint on his hud.

[ Harvey ] : " Hahaha! Just kidding. Alright. Stand by. "

He clicks the Hercules variant blueprint on his hud and continues with its spawning. The aircraft blueprint hologram then appears in the center of the hangar, ready to spawn. With that, the female announcer once again asks for confirmation in a monotone voice.

 

*click!*

 

" Vehicle. Function... "

" DETECTED! "

" Proceed? "

*click!*

 

 

The Hercules blueprint hologram materializes and it spawns the MC-130J Commando II Hercules, together with its five crews - the pilot, co-pilot, combat systems officer, and two loadmasters.

With that, the materialization finishes. It spawned a clean gray Hercules in the middle of the hangar facing the closed entrance.

All of the units look at the newly spawned Hercules in amusement. Karma 1-1 whistles as he inspects the aircraft.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " Ain't that neat, Sir Harvey? Hehe. "

The two Nexon Units also inspect the Hercules while walking around it.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. ] [ Nexon 3-12 , 3rd Bn. ] : " As expected. It has all the Commando II look. Now, how about inside? "

As they are about to walk to the closed ramp of the Hercules on its tail section, the ramp suddenly opens gradually and the five plane crews greet them already donning their designated uniforms. The two Nexon Units salute back at them as they saw them on the ramp.

Harvey, Karma 1-1, and Colonel Hopkins also walk toward the ramp to greet the plane crews. Quick salutations and handshakes between them ensue.

??? Pilot : " Commando II is at your service, Sir Harvey. "

As the pilot said while he and the rest of the crews are saluting Harvey. Harvey salutes back with a smile.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. ] [ Nexon 3-13 , 3rd Bn. ] : " Alright. What's gonna be your designate callsign? "

He asked the pilot. The pilot then looks at Nexon 3-13 and thinks of a callsign.

??? Pilot : " Oh. Hm. "

The pilot then turns toward the rest of the plane crew to ask for suggestions.

??? Pilot : " Any ideas? "

The crews think for a while but nothing came to their minds. Harvey then walks towards Karma 1-1 and pats his shoulder.

[ Harvey ] : " You're the first who's gonna use it. So I will give you the honors to come up with the callsign. "

Harvey said as he thumbs up. Karma 1-1 is a little surprised by it and thanks Harvey. He then walks towards the Hercules crews and the two Nexon Units to come up with the plane's designated callsign.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " I have one.. "

All of them, then look at him with intrigue.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. ] [ Nexon 3-12 , 3rd Bn. ] : " Nice. What's it gonna be? "

Karma 1-1 then looks at the aircraft while striking a confident pose.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " I will designate them as - .. "

 

 

 

 

 

" ... - NOMAD 1 "

Immediately, Karma 1-1 gives a thumbs-up to Harvey. Harvey's hud system automatically detects the designation output Karma 1-1 gives and it designates them as ordered.

The hud announces with a female monotone voice once again.

 

*beeeeep!*

"Naming.Accomplished..."

 

A quick burst of light appeared on the Hercules crews as the hud system designate them. The crews then salute them.

[[ NOMAD 1 Pilot ]] : = Roger. NOMAD 1 is now operational. =

[ H.Q. ] [ G.A. ] [ Nexon 3-12 , 3rd Bn. ] : " Roger. Registering Hercules: NOMAD 1 . Welcome to H.Q. guys."

With that, Karma 1-1 gives all of his units the green light to commence the operation. He mildly shouts at them:

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " ALL UNITS! OP ESPER IS A GO! "

The two Nexon Units then open up the hangar, while the five plane crews and TIER 1 SFODs make their way inside the Hercules to prepare for the flight.

As they walk by Harvey and Colonel Hopkins, the operators give them quick salutations once again. Harvey then talks to the Colonel with a little hint of envy to the operators while looking at them as they make their way inside the plane.

[ Harvey ] : " How lucky of them, Colonel. I also want to do HALO jumps too. "

The Colonel then chuckles while also looking at the operators.

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Col. Hopkins } : " Haha. Well I mean, you CAN, sir. But yeah. You still have much work to do. "

Harvey disappointingly scratches his head while chuckling.

[ Harvey ] : " Hehehe. *sigh* Yeah. I know. "

After a few minutes, the Hercules' engines are now starting and the last payload and operator were now inside the aircraft. Karma 1-1 walks inside to give a final inspection of the designated units of the operation. He looks at them closely and lets out a confident thumbs-up to them. The operators reply back also with a thumbs-up.

Karma 1-1 then taps the first loadmaster of the plane by the ramp entrance and shouts at him close to his ears due to the loud engine noise of the Hercules.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " YOU GUYS HAVE A NICE RIDE! "

The loadmaster shouts back at Karma 1-1 with a thumbs-up as Karma 1-1 walks out.

[[ NOMAD 1 First Loadmaster ]] : = WE'LL HAVE IT, SIR! =

He then closes the ramp gate and the Hercules gradually moves out of the hangar and towards the runway.

Meeting back with Harvey and Colonel Hopkins, Karma 1-1 and the two cross their arms as they watch the Hercules taxi down to the runway.

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Col. Hopkins } : " Be ready for the additional maintenance materials, Sir Harvey. Hehe. "

[ Harvey ] : " Tsk. Yeah yeah. You didn't need to remind me of that. Haha. "

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " Hahaha. Ever since you promoted the Colonel, Sir Harvey, he's been working hard in the maintenance department together with the logistics department. "

[ Harvey ] : " Oh yeah?... "

The word "Promotion" then suddenly intrigues Harvey. He quickly opens up his hud systems and goes to its development systems.

[ Harvey ] : " Speaking of "Promotion".... "

Harvey said with a wide grin on his face while scrolling through his hud. Karma 1-1 and Colonel Hopkins look at Harvey with a little smile, already thinking about what Harvey is about to do.

Upon selecting the Promotion Function on his hud, Harvey asks the two what rank they would want.

[ Harvey ] : " Alright. Give me guys your pick. "

But the two just look at each other and chuckles lightly.

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Col. Hopkins } : " Hehe whatever you choose, Sir Harvey. "

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " Yes, sir. We don't mind your decision. "

Harvey looks back to his bluish-hud and selects his two new chosen ranks for the two.

[ Harvey ] : " As a thank-you from me, I would give you two new rank promotions. "

He selects the Colonel first, and the hud picks up his unit that shows on his hud screen.

Harvey confirms the promotion and a quick burst of light covers the Colonel as the Colonel stays motionless, waiting for the completion of his promotion. After that, the hud asks whether Harvey will give the new promoted unit a new name or not. He asks Karma 1-1 about it.

[ Harvey ] : " So? What do you think, Karma? "

Karma 1-1 looks at the former Colonel and gives his opinion.

[ H.Q. ] [ G.I.D. Chief ] [ Karma 1-1 ] : " Hm. I think his name is already fine, sir. "

Harvey looks back at the former Colonel and confirms the previous name and his new rank through his hud.

[ Harvey ] : " Yeah. I also think that as well. "

 

 

*beeeeeeeeep!*

"Promotion.Accomplished..."

"Adjusting.Callsigns..."

*beeeeeeeeep!*

 

 

[ Harvey ] : " Alright. How did that go, Major General Hopkins? "

With a new outfit for a Major General with a green general suit and green general hat, he inspects his attire briefly and salutes back to Harvey.

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Maj. Gen. Hopkins } : " Thank you for the new promotion, Sir Harvey. "

Harvey salutes back and went on to Karma 1-1.

[ Harvey ] : " It's your turn now. "

Karma 1-1 stands firm and waits for his promotion.

"Spawn.Unit..."

"Karma 1-1..."

"DETECTED"

"Confirm: PROMOTION?"

 

 

Harvey once again confirms the promotion while the Major General watches. A bright light again covers Karma 1-1 as he is being promoted.

"Promotion.Accomplished..."

*beeeeeeeeeeep*

"PROMOTION..."

"Completed."

"Please.Enter.Name..."

 

 

After the promotion, the former Karma 1-1 change his brown coat and brown fedora hat, into a gray trenchcoat and gray officer cap.

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Maj. Gen. Hopkins } : " Huh. It must've been because I've already designated him as the chief of our intelligence department. That's neat. "

[ Harvey ] : " I know right? He kind of looks like an SS Officer. Dope outfit. Now then, for the name..."

Harvey thinks for a while and comes up with a new name for the former Karma 1-1. He inputs the name through his hud and the hud automatically designates it to the new promoted unit.

 

 

*beeeeeeeeep!*

"Naming.Accomplished..."

"Adjusting.Karma.Callsigns..."

*beeeeeeeeep!*

 

 

Harvey closes his hud after confirming the promotion has been successful and went towards the former Karma Unit.

[ Harvey ] : " You got a rad outfit there, Colonel Keith K. Kaiser? I at least gonna thank Hugo Boss for this one. Haha. "

Colonel Keith K. Kaiser salutes Harvey with a slight change of tone of voice compared to before.

{ H.Q. } { G.I.D.C. } { Col. Keith } : " I appreciate the promotion you gave to me, Sir Harvey. Pro securo ac intel. "

Harvey and the Major General are a little stunned and surprised by the outcome of the former Karma 1-1's promotion.

[ Harvey ] : " Wo-woah. Your voice got a little bit deeper than before huh. "

{ H.Q. } { C.M.O. } { Maj. Gen. Hopkins } : " Hahahaha! I'm surprised about that as well. "

Colonel Keith places his right hand behind his head as he apologizes.

{ H.Q. } { G.I.D.C. } { Col. Keith } : " Oh. I'm sorry. "

[ Harvey ] : " Haha no no it's alright. It's just the system. Not a big deal. "

{ H.Q. } { G.I.D.C. } { Col. Keith } : " Th-thank you, Sir Harvey. "

Then, as they head outside of the hangar and continue on with their tasks, the sound of the Hercules roaring on the runway resonates across the base.

Inside the MC-130J Hercules...

The pilot is now asking for departure, while the co-pilot adjusts the system, and the CWO checks his checklist for the flight configuration. The entire radio transmission is once again filled with radio chatter.

[[ NOMAD 1 Pilot ]] : = On Runway 03. Configured for flight. =

[[ NOMAD 1 Co-Pilot ]] : = Rog. Calibrating. =

[[ NOMAD 1 C.W.O. ]] : = I've been getting data maps from the Predator Drones. Might help us along the way. For now, we will just do some good ol' eyeballing. =

[[ NOMAD 1 Co-Pilot ]] : = No shit. GPS arent availale for now. =

At the back, all of the designated TIER 1 SFODs are seated at both sides of the plane, with their four trailers full of bags containing types of equipment, ammunition, and gears. The two loadmasters are finishing up attaching parachutes to the four trailers as they will also be dropped together with the respective operative group.

[ H.Q. ] [ Flight Controller ] [ Nexon 3-4 , 3rd Bn. ] : " *on radio* NOMAD 1 on Runway 03, this is H.Q. Tower. Ready for your maiden and first operation. Standing by for departure request. "

[[ NOMAD 1 Pilot ]] : = Thank you, Tower. =

The pilot looks at the co-pilot and CWO behind him to ask if all are ready.

[[ NOMAD 1 C.W.O. ]] : = We're ready. The loadmasters already finished attaching up the trailers and their parachutes down on the cargo bay. =

[[ NOMAD 1 Pilot ]] : = Alright. Tower, NOMAD 1 on Runway Zero-Three, asking for departure. =

[ H.Q. ] [ Flight Controller ] [ Nexon 3-4 , 3rd Bn. ] : " *on radio* NOMAD 1, You are clear for takeoff. Advise: CLIMB AND MAINTAIN 18000 INITIALLY EXPECT FL500 1-0 MIN AFTER DEPARTURE."
