Harvey, together with Able Units, stayed behind to decide whether to rebuild Arksonville and potentially make it into a FOB ( Forward Operating Base ) so that he can have a large range of operations.

Inside a small abandoned hut, Harvey with Able 1-1 is studying what they are gonna do with the certain village. A map of the village is projected into Harvey’s hud and they pick up points and locations on what they should change or adjust.

“ ...yeah so I’m planning like, we could reinforce all of these fences for better protection and closure. Also while we’re at it, I’m planning to add some watchtowers for additional security,” said Harvey while making hand gestures on the hud map.

[ Able 1-1 ] : “Hm. We could. But, depending on the materials we used, we might stand out when someone or some people suddenly come to this village.”

“Hm yeah. You got a point. But when we checked and studied some official documents we got here last night, we learned that the kingdom doesn’t really heed too much attention to this village. Little to no financial support, high taxes, unequal treatment, discrimination, and other stuff like that. Strange, but that’s what it said. So I’m thinking that we can use that to our advantage to build a FOB here. What do you think?“

[ Able 1-1 ] : “I don’t know, sir. This village is part of the kingdom. When they learned that “people” from another world reside over here and had a high-technological and mechanical advantage, not only the kingdom, but the rest of the kingdoms and country, they will surely want to get a hands on one of your things and firepower.”

Harvey lets out a sigh and looks at the window.

“I’ve already thought and considered that. Everything has its risks and consequences. We just have to be adaptable and mindful. I know it’s earlier to build a FOB, considering that I just got here and am not familiar with this world. So, I’m using this opportunity to help me know more and familiarize myself.”

Short silence.

Harvey looks at Able 1-1 and smiles.

“So, with that, I’m going to build a FOB here whatever may come.”

…

Able 1-1 lets out a chuckle and salutes.

[ Able 1-1 ] : “Sir, yes sir!”

The two then continue to discuss their construction plan on building the new FOB.

After an hour worth of planning, the two come up with a finished construction plan. They would reconstruct each of the buildings into new and fortified ones. And due to the weak materials being used at the buildings and houses such as clays, woods, and leaves, it would just take them:

• half-day straight worth of demolition

• a day straight worth of construction

• And a day straight worth of reinforcement

Harvey spawns two utility vehicles used for demolition - a bulldozer and an excavator. He and Able 1-1 would use them to demolish buildings and houses.

“WE’RE UP! HAHA!” Harvey screamed at Able 1-1 as he climbed on the excavator.

While Able 1-1 also followed and climbed up on the bulldozer.

But before they start their engines, Harvey checks his radar map to ensure if some unknown people are near in the vicinity.

It’s just the two of them and the other four Able Units that were guarding the perimeter of the village. He then turns off his radar map and starts the engine.

*bbbrrrrrrrroooooonnnggggh!*

“*radio* Haha! Let’s a-go!”

[ Able 1-1 ] : “*radio* Roger that, sir!”

The two then demolish houses and buildings with ease. Each of them is being crumbled down to pieces like pebbles and twigs.

“*radio* Whoa! This is really fun! Hahaha!”

[ Able 1-1 ] : “*radio* Good to know that you’re having fun, sir. Just don’t forget to compile most of the pieces in a single place. I’ll bring them all into a single dumpsite. ”

After intense hours of demolishing piles, the area is now clear of rubbles.

Harvey and Able 1-1 get out of the vehicles. Once the demolitions were done, they went on to a wide clean field.

There, Harvey prepares his Military Development System.

“ Hm. 25, 25. Yeah, 100 seems to be good enough.”

*click!*

 

The robotic female voice appears again.

"Spawn Function Detected..."

"Confirm "100 Infantry Units for: 10 Soul?"..."

 

*click!*

A big glowing magic circle emerges from the wide field which spawns a hundred infantry saluting Harvey.

Harvey salutes back as the magic circle disappears.

“Now, Able 1-1, I want you to supervise the entire operation while I go back to check with the girls. You go and command these fellas out to accomplish the constructions and renovations. Can I entrust you with that?”

[ Able 1-1 ] : “Understood sir!”

“Alright. I will spawn all materials, power sources, and extra weaponry for all of you. You can also pick someone to help you oversee the operation just in case you need sleep.”

[ Able 1-1 ] : “Understood sir. But we spawns don’t really need sleep and food.”

Harvey’s eyes widened with shock.

“Wait WHAT? You kidding me right?”

[ Able 1-1 ] : “No sir. We are just spawns that came from your powers. Like, we are just materialized holograms. Sorta like “NPC”s, or if that’s what is called.”

“Really? What the fuck? That’s really rad and a very great convenience for me then! Haha, I should’ve just spawned these hundred guys in the first place to do all the work. But well, at least it’s fun to wreck some buildings for once in a while.”

Harvey opens his Inventory Space System.

“Ok. First, I will equip these guys out like one of yours.”

*click!*

The hundred newly spawned infantry units now have the same weapon loadout and attires as the Able Units.

“Now, going to these other large areas, I will spawn huge amounts of building materials so that you don’t have to work yourselves hard on getting those.”

*click!*

Huge amounts of cement, metal, plastic, wood, cables, and other building and electrical materials spawn in front of Harvey. He then also spawn a big-sized generator for their main power source and electricity.

“Alright. This should do it. I’m trusting this construction project to you, Able 1-1. Radio me in case something comes off. Ok? Before I go, is there anything else that I’m missing?

[ Able 1-1 ] : “None sir. We should be able to finish this construction project from about - tomorrow evening to early morning. ”

“Nice. Just be careful and designate more men to help to provide security and scouts at the perimeter so that no one can get to this place. Alright? Dismissed.”

[ Able 1-1 ] : “Sir, yes sir! *salutes* ”

Harvey then spawns a motorcycle for his transportation back.

“Oop. Before I forgot.”

He picks a pair of chickens and puts them inside a cage, and hangs the cage on the back of the motorcycle.

“There. Saves me time from hunting. Alright! See ya when I see ya guys.”

[ Able 1-1 ] : “Have a safe trip, sir.”

Harvey rides the motorcycle and goes back to the house.

It's already evening.

Harvey came back with his brought chickens and was greeted by the two patrolling HOTEL Operators. He then parks by the side of the house and heads inside.

Inside, he is greeted again by Rosie, who is on the way to the kitchen to eat dinner.

“Sir Harvey! Welcome back! Hm? Chickens?”

“Thanks, Rosie. Yeah, I got them back at the village. Saves me time from hunting one.”

“Ohh I see. Then maybe you should give them to big sister Olivia! She knows how to raise farm animals!”

“Oh really? Thank you! I will surely do. Where is she by the way?”

“She is in the kitchen, preparing dinner. I think she cooked one of your deer that you hunted yesterday.”

“I see. Then we should go and eat then!”

“Yipee! Let’s go!”

They walk to the kitchen where Olivia is working. Harvey then realizes that some of the areas were now clean.

“Let me guess, you girls also did some cleaning?”

“Hehe. Of course! Big sister Olivia also said that this is at least what we can do to help and repay you for what you did to us.”

“What? Aw, you girls don’t have to. But, thanks anyway. Just don’t overextend yourselves, ok?”

“Ok!”

The two then went inside the kitchen and greeted Olivia by the counter preparing a deer steak.

“Oh welcome back, Sir Harvey! Hm? Where are some of your friends?”

“Ah them? Nah, don’t worry. They went back to their homes hehe.”

“I see. Then let’s go and eat dinner, sir! You can also invite your other friends outside to join us.”

“Uhm I think they are good for now. They said that they already ate dinner.”

“Oh is that so? Ok then. Let’s just enjoy ourselves then.”

As they were eating dinner, Harvey asked Olivia about animal farming.

"Oh yeah, Olivia. Rosie mentioned that you have knowledge on raising an animal farm?"

"Yes. I do. Our father had one back then. I also helped him raise it."

"Wow. That's cool. Hmm. Then I have a request for you."

"What is it?"

"Can you build and raise an animal farm for us? It’s not to be exactly as big as the ones you knew back there. Just a small makeshift would do."

"Ehmm. Okay. I just need to have a place for the farm."

"Don't worry. We'll take care of that. I also already have some animals that can be farmed, outside."

"Nice. Notify me when the place is done."

"Alrighty."

Meanwhile, inside the castle of Almeda Kingdom...

A messenger is running towards the king’s throne.

"Your highness. I have something to report. It is urgent." as the messenger kneels in front of the king.

King Galian, reading a book, asked the messenger.

"Hmm. What is it? Make it quick. I'm still reading here."

"Ye-yes your highness. Apparently, we still haven't heard any news from Arksonville. They are supposed to pay the taxes two days prior, but still no news. We've already sent some soldiers out there, but unfortunately, we've also lost contact with them. And on this morning, our stationed troops near the Arksonville heard a loud, continuous thumping roar on the far distance inside the Gargan Forest. Then, according to the reports, it came out of nowhere - there were strange-looking vehicles, flying around up in the heavens."

The strange and flying vehicles pique the interest of the king.

"Did you say ”flying”?" as King Galian closes his book.

"Yes, your highness."

"What does it look like?"

"A-according to the reports, it seems to be a mechanical vehicle that is made out of metal, and has some rotating things on its topside. " the messenger replied.

"Impossible! How can a metal fly? Does it have humans in it?"

"The reports indicate that it's far away that the troops didn't have a clear vision to know whether it had humans riding or using it or not."

In deep thought, King Galian then orders to investigate the said flying vehicles and Arksonville.

"Go send some soldiers to investigate the area. Make sure that no civilians will know about this!"

"As your wish, your highness." the messenger stood up and walked away.

Back at Harvey's house.

Harvey, Olivia, and Rosie, finished eating dinner. Harvey then went outside for some fresh air.

He noticed that the place is kind of improved. They've now got a few lightings all over the place, three temporary helipads for the helicopters, and parking lots.

Harvey then thought of a name for this place. The place where it all started.

He named the place - Harvey's Quarters ( A.N.: hehe cause you know? HQ means "Headquarters"?.hehehe........I'm sorry )

One operator then walks by to Harvey.

[ HOTEL 01 ] : "What is it, sir? Something on your mind? "

"No no. I'm fine. Just need some fresh air."

Harvey then looked around and saw HOTEL Operators guarding the area.

That made Harvey think. He then asked HOTEL 01.

“Hey, where are the pilots and their crews?”

[ HOTEL 01 ] : "The pilots and the crews, sir? They are inside a cabin near the helipads. They said that they are gonna make that cabin into some sort of hangout place. "

“Oh, I see. Tell them that to prepare for a major renovation and overhaul tomorrow, alright? And make sure to change shifts, so that you guys won’t be bored or something.”

[ HOTEL 01 ] : "Understood, sir. "

After a couple of minutes, Harvey went inside the house while HOTEL 01 went to resume his guard duty.

He checks the two girls in his room. They are watching cartoons on the TV.

Harvey went inside and advised the two to sleep early.

"Oi you two. Since I taught you guys how to use the TV, make sure that it doesn't hinder your sleep okay?"

"Okaaayy." Rosie said while watching.

"Don't worry Sir Harvey. It's Rosie that wants to watch non-stop. Hehehe." Olivia said.

"Hahaha. Alright. Goodnight you two. Make sure to turn off this light switch and turn that lamp shade before you girls go to bed, okay?"

"Okay!" the two girls said in sync.

“Goodnight you two.”

Harvey closes the door and prepares to sleep on a couch upstairs.

"Ughh. Why does this house doesn't have any decent bed foam or sheet?"

Harvey then checks his Inventory Space System to find a bed, foam, or anything that can be comfortably slept at.

"Oh yeah great. I'm such a genius. This is an armory inventory type. Not a fucking furniture one." as Harvey facepalmed himself while chuckling."

He then checks his Military Development System hud.

There he finds sorts of sleeping bags and barracks beds.

"Wooo! There we go! Time to do some little renovating! "

He spawned the barracks bed. Took some drawers, chairs, a clock, etc., and arranged it.

( Kind of looks like this )

"There. Finished!"

Harvey lays down on the bed. He is very exhausted from all the work these past hours and gets to sleep.
