"… And we lived happily ever after." A child's voice rang out.
It was a male's voice, but the childish tone almost made him sound like a girl.
"The end." This time, a girl spoke.
Her voice was a little more mature than the boy's. Perhaps because she was three years older than him.
Still, they were only five and eight years old respectively.
In their hand was a storybook they were reading. It was apparently a novel that had been written by their father, and it was called "Reincarnation Of A Magic Scholar."
This book had easily become their favorite over the years, and they couldn't count how many times they had read it already.
Their father was good at many things, and writing a very interesting book was one of those things.
"Should we read it again?" The boy turned to his sister with a bright smile.
His pure white hair gently swayed as his golden eyes gleamed with excitement.
"Sadly, we can't. We have to prepare…"
The girl had blonde yellow hair and blue eyes that shone like gems.
Both of these kids were incredibly adorable, and the fact that they perfectly understood each other made them get along a little too well.
"Yeah… you're right. Guess we'll do it later."
As the boy finished his sentence, the door to the massive parlor flung open, and two people entered the house.
Their parents!
"Mum! Dad!" The two children jumped from their position and flung away the book they were just reading as if it was garbage.
The couple who stood close to their home's entrance smiled as they watched their adorable kids run towards them.
Though… the expression of the father seemed a bit distraught as he looked at the book he spent so much time writing.
"Nero. Emilia. You two should take it easy!" The mother shouted lovingly as her two kids giggled and embraced her.
They didn't take long before jumping on the exit father and climbing his body like the little critters they are.
"Maria, help! Get them off me! Arghh!" Jared yelled as his son jumped on his face and began to yank his hair.
His beautiful yellow blond hair.
"Haha! I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about… Jared."
Maria gazed lovingly as her husband was being tortured by their two wonderful children.
It was a warm scene for her.

"Seth, Aria, and Marie are coming over soon, so you guys can have as much fun with them as possible."
Once Jared said this to his kids, they were finally able to leave him alone and jump around in excitement instead.
He could finally heave a sigh of relief.
"I can't believe it takes Kuzon's kids for you two to behave…"
Kuzon and Ana had a son and two twin daughters, and at times like this they were his lifesavers.
"Uncle Kuzon and Aunty Ana are gonna bring some alien delicacy again, aren't they?" Nero was especially excited about the food.
"Of course… yes. Yes, they will."
Jared and Maria exchanged frantic expressions, but they couldn't share their concerns in front of the kids.
What was so wrong with their regular delicacies?
Jared didn't want to start this conversation again, so he decided to simply let it go.
"A-anyway, all our friends… Edward, Aloe, Lemi, and everyone who saved the world with us are also coming for the reunion."
"Yayy! Aunty Lemi is fun! Aunty Aloe is so cool! I want to see them!"
"Uncle Edward is so strong and huge! I can't wait to see him!"
These kids were so hyperactive that it scared their parents sometimes.
However, beyond that, Jared and Maria were happy that the two children got along really well with their friends.
However, of all the people Jared and Maria mentioned, they were missing one person.
The kids did not forget, though.
"What about…"
"You didn't mention…"
They both looked at each other, as if conspiring to say his name at the same time.
"UNCLE NERON!"
Yep! That's right!

These kids were most excited to see their godfather Neron and his awesome wife.
Their daughter was three years older than Emilia, but the two girls were practically best friends.
"Well… let's prepare to receive our guests, shall we?" Jared rose to his feet as he addressed his family with a big smile on his face.
Eleven years had passed since his big wedding, and it only seemed like yesterday.
"This should be fun."

"The world has changed so much! You know the Skarlor's continent is finally developing after so long?"
"You don't say. I thought it was a dark zone."
"Well, Ana developed a new fuel that fertilized the entire area."
"Hehehe! Damn straight!"
Right now, the gang was engaged in multifarious discussions about various things.
However, as usual, Kuzon was bragging about his wife's achievements.
Everyone had been up to a lot of things in the 11 years since this annual reunion was developed, and every year, the group would share their exploits.
And they did just that.
Everyone mentioned what they had been up to, and it was an overall fun experience.
For example, Aloe and Asa were now a couple. They finally came together just a year ago, after Aloe got her fill of traveling the world alone.
"Being King of the Beastfolk and having only one mate… isn't it rough?" Despite constantly being asked this question, Asa always said the same thing.
"My dear Aloe Vida is worth more than a million mates."
It was the perfect answer he could give—both as a man, and as a King
"The most surprising one is still Ivan. Can't believe you got together with Freya, my man!"
Ivan and Jerry gave each other a high-five and laughed like the bearded men that they were.
Freya had become the Elf Queen just a few years ago, and everyone here had also been present for her coronation.
Aurora finally decided to join her sister, and there was an elaborate sendoff for her.
"My regards to Freya. Ivan."
"Send mine too."
"Here as well."
Freya wasn't present for the reunion, since she was too busy being Queen and raising the many kids that she and Ivan had.
One would think they were rabbits with the way they reproduced.
"How about you, Beruel? How's the Fairy Republic going?" The topic was soon shifted to the sole Fairy in the group.
After Jane left, the Fairies unanimously chose Beruel as their ruler, and he had since been leading them.
Not as a tyrannical king, but as their faithful leader.
"It's fine. We're developing well with the technology that's being produced thanks to the alliance between us and the Dwarves."
"Didn't Maro and his wife relocate there a few years back?"
"Yeah. Apparently he's now the Head Of Forgery and Production over there."
The group laughed, and they once again enjoyed one another's company.
"If you need some otherworldly Tech to up your game a little, just say the word." Ana smirked.
"No need. We're going to catch up to you guys with our own two hands."
Beruel and Ana flashed a competitive glare to each other, but it all soon broke down into the same burst of laughter.
And everyone joined them.
