Chapter 1224: Payback

“He’s the number one genius of the human race, will he be able to beat the immemorial demons?” A few rising stars discussed in secrecy and could sense Feiyun’s power.

“The immemorial demons want to suppress the human this time, they will not hesitate to team up against him.” A demoness around twenty years or so hid in the water while being as small as an ant. She stood on the leaf of a water plant, only communicating with her divine intent.

“I heard a human rising star was killed by them recently, the corpse is hanging on a tree to be pecked by crow, they want to intimidate the humans.”

“Aquamoon Saintess was nearly captured by Prince Moonbreak and was saved by a different human genius.”

“He wants to take her in as a cultivation cauldron, it won’t end there.”

“The humans will be humiliated in that case and won’t reach the immemorial level. Wait, who is that next to Feng Feiyun?”

“Firebird Saintess.”

“She’s the successor of Firebird Immortal Palace, why is she with him?”

Many of these rising stars were friends but their conversations were still heard by Feiyun.

They made it to a thick wutong tree and saw seventy or so corpses hanging on the branches. Among them was a familiar face - Lu Shanren from the undying tribe.

They had just drank with him not long ago but now, he became food for the devil crows. Half of his flesh was eaten so the bones were exposed.

“Only immemorial demons and beasts are eligible to enter the ruins for the conference. If anyone else dares to enter, look above for the consequences.”

Three figures landed on the bridge - two males and one female with powerful demonic auras.

One of the two men was a golden crow while the other was a triumph-fish. Both were at the peak sixth level. Feiyun had met them when they first came to this dimension since they stood behind Prince Tyrant and Pricne Moonbreak.

They found fortunes in this place and grew stronger in a short time.

The woman had a noble fiery aura and looked around eighteen. She was at the sixth level, looking surprised to see Firebird Saintess.

“Tian Kunhai, Jin Sanyi, Firebird Princess, you three dare to block my path?” Firebird Saintess released her pseudo-saint aura; her eyes glowed blue intimidatingly.

Tian Kunhai was the son of a boundary lord from the triumph-fish. He knew about the powerful figure behind Firebird Saintess and answered respectfully: “Saintess, you are an immemorial demon so you can enter, but not this half-demon.”

“He is my fiance so if I can enter, he can as well. If you insist on being foolish, I will eat you.” She threatened, preparing to turn into a firebird to eat them.

“Saintess, you are a member of the firebirds, you should be standing with us against the humans. And this half-demon is your fiance? You couldn’t come up with a better excuse?” Firebird Princess said.

No one believed she would be the fiancee of a lowly half-demon.

They were from the same race but Firebird Saintess’ status was higher to the princess’ chagrin. She wanted the saintess to side with the human so she could use Prince Moonbreak against her, turning her into a cultivation cauldron.

“Honey, tell them that I’m your fiancee.” She told Feiyun.

“Well, let’s participate in the conference first and I’ll talk to Grandpa Liu later.” Feiyun stepped forward and his aura changed.

“Who killed Lu Shanren? Step forward and I will not destroy your soul.” Feiyun said.

Firebird Princess sensed his mighty power but didn’t think he could deal with all the immemorial demons alone.

“Feng Feiyun, don’t think you can act haughty just because you have Firebird Saintess as your backer.” She said.

“Tell me who the killer is and I shall forgive your transgression.” Feiyun said.

“Who the hell do you think you are, lowly half-demon?” She wasn’t afraid of him doing anything because a single half-demon wouldn’t dare to provoke her royal clan.

The saintess was livid. Insulting her fiance was the same as insulting her.

“Firebird Saintess, you have forgotten your nobility and pride, you must have been defeated by him and succumbed to the thing in his crotch.” The princess said.

Her allies agreed with this - she must have been raped by Feng Feiyun. Otherwise, why would she be standing there on his side?

The saintess’ eyes blazed with rage but Feiyun pressed down gently on her shoulder.

“I’ll have you all know that she is indeed my fiancee. You’re Firebird Princess, right? You are qualified to become my slave.” Feiyun sneered.

“Whoosh!” After a bright flash, Nefarious pinned her to the tree.

Feiyun turned his attention toward Tian Kunhai and Jin Sanyi: “I killed Prince Tyrant already so if you two don’t want to die, tell me who the killer is.”

“Ridiculous, Prince Tyrant is ten times stronger than you, as if you can kill him.” Jin Sanyi laughed and a fiery spear shot out from his eyes, aiming for Feiyun’s heart.

Feiyun grabbed the spear and added the power of tribulation to it. He tossed it back, piercing Jin Sanyi’s head and pinning him to the tree.

He has always been ruthless and didn’t mind killing after removing his demon and evil affinity. This was the time to make a point so killing a few demons was more than warranted. Blood for blood.

Spectators thought Feiyun was at the peak sixth level but now, this was not the case since he dealt with Jin Sanyi in just one move.

Tian Kunhai became afraid since he was about as strong as Jin Sanyi. If Feiyun could kill the guy in one move, the same could happen again.

“You... you’re a pseudo-saint.” He sent ten talismans in different directions to inform the immemorial demons.

Feiyun didn’t bother stopping him since he wanted to break the arrogance of these demons. This would be a bloody lesson to treat their racial discrimination.

For example, the hiding spectators came from weaker races and didn’t dare to cross the bridge. They didn’t wish to be hung on the tree.

If the immemorial demons were allowed to act with impunity, the racial divide would only worsen. How could they ever team up together to deal with the incoming calamity?

“Tell Prince Moonbreak to come so that we can settle the score today.” Feiyun uttered coldly.

Tian Kunhai didn’t dare to speak what was on his mind - damn you half-demon, they’ll come and today will be your last.

Feiyun couldn’t read his mind and ignored him. He raised his hand and Nefarious flew back into his sleeve.

Firebird Princess’ wound healed at a visible rate. She came over and kneeled before Feiyun: “Greetings, Master.”

The beauty looked like a shy kitten happy to be near its master.
