Chapter 1: Prologue: A brige, a connection

World: Earth

Monday, just another start of a busy time for students. Under the burning sensation of the sun, in the road that feels like an alley by how narrow it is, with the engine sounds roaring in everyone's ears, and hassle traffic caused by the lines of cars. Adding those traffic enforcers who can't do any better other than waving their hands, anyone would be frustrated.

"Hey, what time is it?" Asked by a white haired boy wearing a school uniform, age seemed to be 14-15, and has the strong aura presenting laziness. His name is Alex Cruz.

Beside him, is someone the same age as him, who is his best friend Josh Garcia. Outfit is the same uniform, appearance is handsome that has enough qualifications to become popular, hair is blond and eyes are green. He checks his wrist with a silver watch and answers "Hmmm, it's only 5:21 am. We still have plenty of time."

"Ok, thanks, Mr. Heroic stick."

Hearing that weird nickname Alex called him, Josh looked embarassed "Argh, don't make me remember that scene, please. I want to forget it."

After the road becomes clear, they crossed the street. 5:30 am, the two finally arrived at their classroom. 6:10 am, the first subject just started because the adviser was late. Then, as Alex is boringly staring at the window...

*Sigh*

He averted his attention back to the class, but suddenly, everyone except for him seemed to be wearing an oval mask that conceals their whole face. The masks can be described as similar to the designs of the 8 planets of the solar system. There was one that looks like the Moon, Saturn, and many more. 

Everything was ongoing normally a second ago, and Alex didn't heard anything about an event happening, so this made him bewildered.

'...the hell?'

He scratches his eyes in confusion, but when he opened it again, no one was wearing any kinds of masks anymore. '...why am I hallucinating?'

"Hey hey, are you ok?" Josh, who noticed Alex's expression, asked worryingly as a friend.

"...it's nothing..."

And so, he didn't really cared about it that much. However, never did he know, that it was a foreshadowing of his bright future.

World: Alestra

The throne room of the well known Holy empire of Leraya, where the place reeks the words extravagancy and holiness. Nobles of different ranks standing on the side as the audience, and from behind, with stone statues holding a sword.

In the red carpet, there is a man with black hair kneeling elegantly, waiting for the ruler's announcement. The young and handsome king with blond hair, said to the man gracefully "Oh our savior, hero, please ask anything as thanks for defeating the demon king."

The hero, responded with full of seriousness "Then, your majesty, I would like to request for equality. Where slavery will be banned, nobles and commoners are treated the same, and other races would be welcomed like us."

The king, just smiled from this, while some nobles frowning can't be avoided because of their pride. The hero doesn't really care though, since if it'll be approved, then it is one step closer to his hidden intentions.
