Calmly travelling through the bustling streets of Coruscant, I pass by the many different species of citizens that varied greatly from each other. The early mornings cool temperature brushed against my skin while the clear skies gave me a break from the previous near constant rain.

Walking down the path lined with large sky scraping buildings on either side, I marvelled in the temporary freedom I've been given.

Not long ago we returned from Escander, and were given leave for a period of time. Nothing definitive but it should be at least a couple days.

We spent an extra few days on Escander after getting orders to see if we can salvage anything useful from the wreckage of the facility. Which gave everyone something to do that wasn't killing or destroying things, still boring as hell but the clones make for good company.

Sadly we had to part ways with them after the Venator was parked in orbit. Clones still aren't given any free time on world yet so they've all been shipped to an outpost around some other battle zones in the galaxy, in case other armies need reinforcements.

Unlucky for them but I'm sure it won't be long till whatever senator it was passes the bill that lets them fuck around on allied worlds.

Aayla on the other hand went to meditate back in her quarters after we finished our report. Nothing unusual there but we did make plans to go out somewhere after training one day so that'll be nice.

Right now though I've arrived at a large rectangular elevator that travels into the depths of Coruscant, floating behind me are a few cargo carriers filled with the stuff I picked up while we looked through the debris.

Under the black covers, hiding the goods from any onlookers, is piles of battle droid parts and weapons from the droid army that was stationed on Escander. Along with some other things such as oil, fuel and maintenance tools just to keep stocked up.

Lining the carriers neatly in the elevator I moved over to the control panel, pressing a few keys I began to descend to the entertainment district along with my cargo carriers.

Ringing Wires from my wrist panel I tap my feet to the beat to the music playing in my headphones while the lift begins to quicken its descent.

Moments later the call goes through giving way for the participant on the other side to say "What a surprise, back already Master?, it seems like your mission was completed ahead of schedule".

"Just got back today, I'm heading down to the bar with some cargo just now. Want to do me a solid and clear some space up in the back room" I asked the droid.

"I get it done right thi... Give me a moment Master." he said stepping away from the communications device.

A few blaster shots were heard followed shortly by a scream of pain.

Moments later Wires was back on call "Sorry about that, I had an unexpected guest arrive. No worries though I'll clear the room out for your arrival" Wires said as if nothing out of the ordinary occurred.

Sighing at the droids obviously well practised actions I said "Make sure to check if he has anything good on him. I'll be over shortly." and disengaged the call.

A chime went off and the turbo lift came to a stop, the doors screeched as they slid open revealing the entertainment district's floor, which was surprisingly well lit for how deep it was.

What followed was a relaxed walk through the mostly empty streets. The only people around at this time were either the one's fighting a hangover or people transporting things around, the latter mostly done by droids which gave the place a pretty quiet and empty feel.

Turning the corner I saw the holy ground, a shining beacon of goodness that illuminated this shitty place, my own bar and it's filled to the brim with drink.

Closing in on the building the sunlight hitting it brought the dimmed and discoloured walls into view, making it look less holy and more shitty. Damn the place looked much better in the dark, I'll need to paint as well... who am I kidding I just make a droid to do it. Why else would I have brought  back all these parts.

Arriving at the main entrance, the large oval shaped doorway was already open and Wire was standing prim and proper at the centre waiting for my arrival. His plating shining from the sunlight as he welcomed me, "Glad to have you back"

"Same here, missed this place, and you of course. Here I've got something for you mate."

Undoing the covers slightly I reach for something on the levitating carriers, a few clanks later I pulled out a large vat of oil while Wires stood to the side in jubilation, well hopefully, his stoic unmoving face doesn't really give much away.

"Just what I needed, I could feel my joints getting stiff protecting this place" he said as we stepped into the building.

The inside was just as I left it, only the shelves behind the bar were stocked full of drink, along with sparkling clean glasses just waiting to be filled.

Oh and some Rodian thug tied up in the corner.

"How many times did this happen since I was away" I asked looking at the unconscious green alien.

"This would be the third time. But no worries I took care of them appropriately." Wires replied as he began to pour me a drink.

Taking a seat at the bar Wires slid me the pint glass full of cold beer. "Thanks" I said and took a gulp of low alcoholic goodness.

"So, were the people you deal with worth anything" I questioned the droid while wiping the excess froth from my lips.

"Some of them were, not much though. They only had bounties for small petty crimes. The moneys in the usual spot." he told me

"Doesn't matter moneys still money. I'm thinking about hiring some people today, you want to come?" I inquired.

Putting down the weirdly shaped glass he was cleaning Wires replied "If you will allow it I'd love to, It does get a little bland staying here for so long".

"No problem, I'll reprogram a few droid to keep watch while we're away. In fact I could get a few to paint the walls outside as well, those B1's could finally do something useful" I said

I'll need to paint all the droids too or I'll end up with the fuzz knocking at the door, and that'll be a weird one to explain. Should probably make a couple modifications to them as well, give them a different look. People would still be a bit freaked out seeing Separatist battle droids on Coruscant. Fuck it, it shouldn't take long anyway.

Tanning the rest my the pint I ask the bartender "Wires come give me a hand moving these off the carriers".

With his help we quickly transferred all the materials into the back room that I've been using to make and fix up things.

Right now it looks like a bombshell struck the place. Tools everywhere, random spare parts along with weapons lying around and now a massive junk heap of Separatist droid parts at the back of the room.

Taking a seat at the workbench I look around the room with lazy eyes.

"This place's a mess..." I sighed aloud wondering if I should tidy it up before making the droids.

"I couldn't agree more sir" Wire concurred causing me to sigh even more.

I'll clean up later... maybe? First things first, make some droids.

"Before I start, can you take that Rodian in" I asked.

"Was already going to, I'll be back soon then. Do enjoy yourself" Wires replied as I waved him off.

The next few hours consisted of varying amounts of building, destroying, reconstructing and modifying. Ideas came and went as I began to create the droids that would guard the bar for the foreseeable future... and paint the walls.

Parts were tossed around the room, some were faulty, some didn't fit and some were just outright broken. Sparks flew as I took the tools to the different pieces, changing them to my needs before setting them to the side and working on another part of the droid.

The designs I came up with had minor elements taken from the EG-5 template I got from the techno union guy. The most parts were too tech heavy for me currently and there was no way to make the same thing with the parts I had on hand, but some small details that I thought were nifty and do-able were added onto the droids.

Slowly but surely the Droid began coming into fruition. The first part to be complete was the main frame, it was lithe, thin but had more body in important areas. Most of it was made from the commando droids frame, the rest were parts from other models, tweaked to the right size.

The wiring was the easiest part most of them could be kept the same and the adjustments weren't difficult to make, which saved me a lot of time and hassle.

Next I put all the core components onto the frame, this was the hardest part as I had to fix up most of these since basically every one of them I had were damaged. But what do you expect when they're being make out of war scrap.

I had to code in new software from the droid brains to reach the desire outcome. I took parts from the different droid brains that were lying around, although most of the code came from Wires. I recycled the combat parts from Wires's droid brain and modified it slightly to suit the droid better. I also added in a small part of the EG-5 code, most of it was too complex for me to understand in the limited time I've studied it but I done enough to add a miniature hive mind into each droid.

The hive mind would only work for 3 droids maximum, any more would take up too much power and compromise the other systems. Still its good enough for just now.

After fitting the droid brains in all I had left to do was add the armour plating an give it a coat of fresh paint.

Taking a seat I admired my new creations 3 dark grey droids with a sleek design, just under my own height.

(Image Here)

They looked good from what I could tell, but only through testing would I be able to make sure of it.

Pressing a button on my wrist guard, the 3 droids activated. Their blue eyes flashing on as they began to test out their systems. In sync they began to move around, it started with just basic movement but they quickly began more complex actions. From the readings on my computer it could tell the hive mind worked from the way they sent each other information the got from the world around them.

Done with the motions the trio moves onto weapons, the wrist mounted blasters on their left hands began heating up, taking aim they fired on some battle droid parts I hung up as targets. All shots hit their mark, pausing their shots I used the force to more around the same targets, moving them at typical running speed while the droid began firing again.

By the time I finished the test barely any shots were missed, so i could confidently say that from close range these droids would be lethal, which is basically all I want for now since gunfights on Coruscant are mostly close range shootouts.

Lastly I picked up a blaster pistol from a desk and aimed it at the droids, synchronised the raised their right arms in front of them as the blue shield formed from their wrists. I modified the droideka shields to created a smaller wrist mounted one that would work on less power, so that the droids could have more defence by using their fast reflexes to block shots.

Pulling the trigger I unloaded a barrage of shots at them, starting off just aimed at the shields before aiming at different body parts. The hive mind came into play here as when a single droid got overwhelmed another would cover.

The shooting never lasted looks as the shields couldn't take too many shots before running low on power.

"I must say, these droids are quite impressive Master" Wires chimed in when I finished shooting.

"I think so as well, they still need more thorough testing but we can do that another day. I think it's about time we got a move on." I said.

"Finally" Wires cried with emotion in his voice "I was terribly bored painting that wall outside, I thought it would never end".

"It's your own fault, all you were doing was standing around doing nothing, your better of being useful" I told him before remembering something.

"Did you box those weapons?" I asked him. Earlier while I was working I told Wires to box some of the battle droid's weapons so we could sell them and make some extra money. I had loads of them, too many to use right now so I might as well sell them instead to letting them collect dust.

"Yes the container is packed and ready" Wires replied.

Turning to the newcomers I said "You guys finish up outside, lock up when you're done and wait for us to return".

"Yes sir" They said in a robotic voice.

Pulling a plain black mask and a hooded cloak out a cupboard, I put them on before turning to wires and telling him to use a holo cloak while we're out.

Instantly he changes into a random masked man with basic dark clothing and asks "It this one alright?".

Nodding Wires, we head for the door and  start our descent into the depths of Coruscant.

Leaving the bar me and Wires walked over to the nearby ship dock. Awaiting for us was the Coruscant Freighter that I inherited from one of smugglers I offed a couple months ago.

As we closed in on our ride, I pinged it a signal to drop the landing ramps. Wires dragged the goods onto the ship while I headed for the cockpit.

There was nothing special about the ship, the interior was plain as the previous owner didn't make many modifications to it. Good enough for a smuggler though, it has a decent amount of cargo space and blends in with the other ships around it.

Taking I seat I start up the systems one by one making sure everything still works. It's been a while since I flew this thing and I'm not wanting any problems from it. All is good though everything was working fine so chances are there'll be no chances of having a crash landing.

Moments later the doors behind me slide open, revealing Wires in his disguised form. He takes a seat as I begin flying the ship over to one of the many abyss like holes that reach down go the lowest levels of the city.

It didn't take long for us to reach the large vertical passages, getting in position for descent I lowered the thrusters which caused the ship to begin sinking downwards.

Curiously I looked out the window in the scenery, although I've been up this passage once before, the sheer scale of the planet wide city. The different levels passed by the window, each one having their own variety of activities and places to go.

Although there's a clear downward trend in cleanliness and overall livability. The spotlights and flashing billboards dotted around the levels give those who pass by a peak into the shadier parts of Coruscant.

Unlike the surface, it's rare for anyone to catch a cleaning droids doing the rounds down here. My guess is the governments just choosing to save some cash since they wont hear anything about it from the citizens anyway. The super rich on the surface feel as if those who dwell underground are beneath them, while the peasantry in the underground grow used to the conditions after living in them for so long.

Growing tired of the scenery, I turn to my droid companion and said "Want to do something productive and set up a sentry in front of the ramp".

No chance I'm leaving the ship unguarded while we trek around looking for a black market. The people around these parts would steal the salt of your meal if you gave them a chance. That's why I'm not, anyone that's climbs up that ramp unauthorised is getting plugged full of laser bolts. I'll have it hooked up to my wrist guard so I know when someone's tried their luck.

Grumbling he gets off his seat "You know since you came back it feels like I've constantly been productive, where's the droid rights?".

"Listen, I'm just trying to give you a bit of exercise, you know get the joints loosened up a bit after staying indoors from so long" I said as a data card was plugged into one of the ships available slots.

The trips going to be a while so instead of listening to the clanks of Wires things together I decided to stick some tunes on.

While we were doing the clean up operation on Escander, to make it less boring I decided to play some music through a speaker so all the clones could listen in. As I watched the clones jam away while they powered through with their work, an idea struck me.

I should get a frequency on the holonet, if you don't know what that is, it's basically the star wars equivalent of a radio station.

All I'd need to do is play a couple of tunes, then slap the adverts on for a few minute and watch the cash roll in. I can see it already, clones on battlefields all over the galaxy listening in to alleviate their boredom. Could even give shout outs to the boys in the field like a certain GBX once done back in the motherland.

So with some stead cash flow on the horizon I get to work bootlegged songs from earth for the remainder of the trip down the underworld portal.

----------------------------------------------------------------

{Level 1313}

Docking the ship in a run down area, I make sure to have Wires check the sentry before we leave. Seeing the connection between the sentry my my wrist guard, meant we're good to go. Lowering the ramp, me and the droid exit the ship with the cargo of E-5 blasters trailing behind us.

Normally you'd have to pay a toll to park your ship on a new level, but where there were no droids taking tolls and all the machines were busted. Therefore we just passed through into the gloomy city ahead.

Coruscant level 1313, famous in the underworld for its high crime rates and low police presence. This makes it the ideal place for scum and villainy to gather and make whatever deals they need to before laying low till the next one.

The permanent darkness that encapsulates the entire floor, along with the various tall shadow buildings gave the place a dangerous feel compared to the bright vibrant colours you'd see on the surface.

The time of the day doesn't matter down here when it's dark all year round, so the streets were as busy as they will ever be - not very. The streets are relatively quiet, a few people walking around here and there but that's about it.

To find a place where we could sell the good, we walked over to a nearby food and drink establishment. Above the entrance was a crooked billboard on it's last legs, it flickered on and off as the door creaked open underneath it.

The inside was rundown and unkempt, the entire room had a musky stench from all the alcohol drank over the years, but not letting the smell bothered me I sat down at the bar and ordered a drink. Nothing to heavy, just a double of jet juice to keep me ticking over.

The Jillsarian bartender was speedy about it, guess having four arms helps with pouring drinks. Seconds later a large muscular hand places a drink down on the table in front of me.

Looking left and right, everyone was minding there own business so I called out to the bartender before he left "You will give me information about nearby black markets" making a small gesture with my hand as I talk.

The Large man froze up for a moment before replying "I will give you information about nearby black markets" in his deep baritone voice.

Doing the same action I said "You will write down the information on paper".

"I will write down the information on paper" he reached under the bar with one of his arm putting the paper on the table and taking out a pen from his pocket.

Seeing the mind trick worked just fine I tilted the bottom of my mask up, giving me enough room to drink the liquor I was just given.

Not long after I finished, the Jillsarian was finished leaving us to go and attend other customers as if nothing happens. Mind tricks are a terrifying, they make you do something at the will of another and while you feel as if your actions are completely normal and justified, and that's not even going into the more extreme versions of the technique.

Getting what I came for, we left for one of the addresses on the paper. Of course before that I left the credits for the drink on the counter, need to help out the small businesses.

It never took us long to arrive at the first location, we end up at a large plaza surrounded by plain looking building. There was many stalls around, the layout made it look like a typical market you'd find on many planets off world.

Walking through past the stalls I could see a variety of legal and illegal items, varying form completely normal items that were only being sold here so they don't get taxed, to unlicensed ship part and blaster carbines.

The people here all looked hardened, the majority wore masks or some other kind of facial clothing to hide their face, while to ones that didn't were from a species where it wouldn't matter if they wore one or not.

After making our way past several shop and a variety of people, I spotted a stall that had a variety of different grenades and small fire arms. Stepping past the people looking at the stock, I see a dark green trandoshan with his feet up looking at something on his holo pad.

"Are you the owner here?" I questioned.

"You interested?" he said before he noticed the floating cargo I had behind me.

"No but I think you'll be interested in what I've got" I told him.

He signals to one of the others watching the shop before pointing behind him and saying "Follow me".

Stepping through the curtain I quickly examine the room we were brought into, not seeing anything suspicious I continue the conversation.

"I've got some blasters here that could be yours, for the right price of course" I said signalling wires to move pass me the cargo.

"What are we dealing with then, If they're worth it I'm sure we can come to an agreement" The reptile hissed.

Sliding the top of the box slightly I take out one of the blasters, " E-5 blaster rifle's, 50 of them, all in good condition" as I spoke I could see the big lizards eyes light up.

"I'm looking to get rid of all these at the one time for...say 1200 each" I offered already knowing I was asking for too much.

The Trandoshan raised his voice at this "1200 each that's robbery! I wouldn't even be able to make any money selling them. 950 each sounds fair."

"tsk, that's barely over retail price. No way, I can do 1050 each if you buy all of them."

He thought for a moment and said "You drive a hard bargain but fine. I can do that".

Before we closed the deal I asked "I'll be need a bit of information as well though, I'm looking for something sensitive"

Closing the distance I quietly tell him what I was looking for. He thought for a moment and wrote something down and told me "Go to this place, they're not part of a bigger organisation. Say Cressc sent you."

"It's a pleasure doing business with you Cressc. I hope we can stay in touch for other deals similar to this one" I said as we finished the exchange.

After making the exchange and getting the credits from Cressc, me and Wires passed through the black market's stalls with an briefcase filled to the brim with credits. Of course he kept it hidden under his disguise, who knows what the characters here would do once they get a sniff of cash.

Eventually we got to one of the exits and began to head for our next destination.

As we moved my dog-like nose caught a whiff of something magnificent. What? Travelling around like this burns through calories not to mention my its been a couple of hours since I had some food. Making my decision, Wires was dragged over to a food stall where a human was selling some sort of meaty burger. To be honest I don't want to know what its made of, it would probably put me off it. Shit, nearly had flashback to my stay on Dathomir, the things I ate there have scarred me for life.

Quickly paying for the food and a drink, we continue our excursion.

Between bites I asked Wires "How far away is this place".

Checking a hologram Wires replies "It should be about 20 minutes in... this direction." before powering off the device.

"Master are you sure about this, wouldn't it be easier to hire people the normal way" the droid questioned.

"Definitely, plus it's not as if it's going to be hard. These guys aren't part of a bigger network, and even if they were it wouldn't make a difference. People disappear all the time, especially down here"

-----------------------------------------------------------

In front of us is a 2 story building, it's run down just like the rest of the houses around here. But unlike the rest, I could hear faint sound coming from this one, indicating that someone is inside.

Not wasting anymore time I dib the cigarette out on the side of the residence and pressed the door bell.

Not long after a TT-8L gatekeeper droid popped out from a slot in the wall, it's orange sensor probing us with small movements as if waiting for us to speak.

"We came here for your new product" nothing happened, "Cressc sent us here" the droid moved from side to side inspecting the two of us before falling back into the wall slot.

Not long after the doors slid open, revealing 3 Quarren thugs with their blasters at the ready. The one at the front grumbled "Follow us, the product's through the back" and they parted to the sides, allowing us to walk through the middle.

As we passed through the two that we're giving directions flanked us from the back, probably in case we try something funny. As if it's going to make a difference.

The go through the empty halls till we reach a large room near the back of the house. The place had a couple leaks and a deep musty smell, letting everyone know that it's been uncleaned for quite some time. Within the room were another 9 Quarren which most of were sitting down drinking and eating. Seeing no other species apart from the squid men led me to believe that this was solely a band of Quarren pirates.

But the main thing that drew my eyes were the people chained to the wall. All Twi'lek woman, 12 with a variety of skin tone shackled down and barely clothed with rags. Their facial expression's  looking varying from downtrodden and defeated to ones filled with malice.

The main Quarren led me over to the girls, "As you can see we've got a diverse selection of female Twi slaves for sale. All of them are in good condition fresh from the slavers, no mutilations or bodily scars either. You can have your pick for the right price".

Taking my time, I look at the slaves one by one, they all have varying reactions as I do so. Some looked scared, while the tougher ones looked me dead in the eye with vicious expressions. The Quarren allowed me to do so, as it was normal for potential buyers to inspect their slaves.

Stepping back from the Twi, I look towards the Quarren boss and asked "How much do they cost?" I only had to buy a bit more time, Wires was almost done scanning for any extra lifeforms in the building.

Touching his tentacles he replied "Well, we don't have any special colours here so... 10000 credits for one, I can do 25000 if you buy three".

Pretending to ponder other the price for a moment, I get the signal from Wires that informed me it was only these guys we need to deal with. "Sounds like a fair deal... but I have a counter offer".

The Quarren closed the distance slightly in anticipation of my offer, when suddenly I pulled a blaster pistol out and strung him full of plasma.

This was the cue for Wires to star plating, his arms moved in normally impossible angles as he fired shots towards the slow reacting Quarren. While he unloaded his ammunition on, Wires moved in front of the girls using his newly installed shield to block stray shots heading for them.

After killing their boss I proceed to fire at the others, taking them out one by one. One through the head and one through the heart, at least I think I'm not sure where the hearts are on Quarrens. A couple of times an enemy shot flew at me, but in the end they never caused any trouble. With small practiced movements I narrowly avoided them, returning my own fire back at the senders.

In no, time the pirates were all dead, sprawled over the floor and table tops. The charred smell spread throughout the room, breaking the twi'leks out of their reverie, bringing their attention to my self and the incognito droid.

Watching a few people die, won't be near the worst thing these girls have seen if they were caught by pirates, so not wasting any time I tell them what I wanted.

"Listen up, I'm in need of some workers for the new business I'm starting up. An people of your appearance, would make the job easier. Therefore I'm offering you work, not slavery or indentured servitude. But a job where you'll get fair pay and protection."

As I spoke, the chains attaching them to the walls were being undone by Wires, hopefully showing the girls I'm serious about the proposal and not just trying to scam them.

Once they were all free, they nervously looked between me the two of us, as if pleading of permission to do something.

"You can speak to each other. I'm not forcing you into anything, you know" I said.

After I said that it only took a few moments for some of the Twi's to drop down on their knees and accept my offer. Although some of the stronger willed individuals, got in a huddle and began discussing what they should do.

For the ones that already accepted I told the to stand up and wait to see what the others were going to do.

It didn't take long for the rest to come t o an agreement, they realised that staying down here wasn't a great idea for survival. Having no weapons or money is a sure fire way to end up in the same situation as before, so it was better to go with me, even if it seemed a bit risky.

"Now, that's all decided I've got a question for all of you. Can you remember where the ship that these guys used to bring you here is?" I asked the ladies.

A green skinned Twi'lek stepped forwards as she told me "I can bring you to it, if that's what you want".

"Lead the way- wait." Looking towards Wires I tell him "Go and fetch them some clothes, it'll be problematic if they leave like this".

You are reading story Star Wars: Blurred Lines at novel35.com

All of them were barely clothed and I can't be arsed killing everyone idiot in the streets that want a piece of them.

While Wires was away I started to get to know my new employees. Getting their names, ages and other information about their back grounds. I found out that they were all stolen from a Zygerrian slaver ship before being took here to be sold off for a high price.

Soon enough, Wires came back with baggy cloaks for the Twi'leks and we were taken to the Quarrens ship by Aola, the green twi'lek that spoke up before.

At the location was an ALC-9 Aurore-class Freighter with a few minor weapon mods applied. Although the girls didn't like it, I told them to get back into the cargo compartment of the ship so we could get a move on.

Piloting the ALC over to where we docked the coruscant freighter, I typed in some commands onto my wrist panel and got the ship to follow behind us so we could begin our ascent.

-------------------------------------------------------

Sitting on one of the bar stool with an icy glass of beer, I was going into more depth about what their jobs will entail, when an unexpected guest arrived at the door.

"I heard someone here was looking for me" said a mature feminine voice, which sounded strangely familiar.

Turning to the door, one hand hovering over my blaster, prepared to take it out a moment's notice. At least it was, until I realised who it was speaking.

"Ros Lai, nice seeing you again".

After I said those words Ros Lai took a good look at my now uncloaked figure. Her eyes drifted over me serveral times, if this was a random person staring the face off me I'd tell them to fuck off but I knew the she was just trying to remember who I was.

After a while the crimson haired woman spoke unsurely, "Lycan?"

Smiling at the answer I replied "In the flesh"

She looked at me incredulously after my reply, probably wondering why I was here along with several other things.

"Why do you take a seat first and we can catch up" I offered, clapping the bar stood next to me.

Turning to the Twi'lek girls I tell them "You can all go pick your rooms, the stairs are through those doors. The rooms are all at the top".

All the girls leave at my words, probably understanding I wanted a bit of privacy from with Ros.

As they flood out the room Ros takes a seat on the barstool next to me, moving her legs to face me she questions me by saying.

"How are you even here?. I thought you'd be up at the temple doing... whatever jedi does, or at some planet scrapping droids."

"I'm on leave for a while just got back from a mission so they gave me some free time, and if your wondering why I'm here. Let's just say your sitting in my very on watering hole" I explained while gesturing for Wires to come over.

The droid was back at the glass cleaning again, he must enjoy it or something. Makes me wonder if that's all he did while I was away, apart from bringing in bounties. Maybe I should get him a holo pad to keep him entertained, can't have my droid being depressed, it'll lower his work efficiency.

"Seriously this place is yours?!" she said while looking around the place. "I'll tell you, it's got some style compared to most of the places around here".

"You want a drink for our reunion?" I asked as Wires arrived in front of us.

"You paying?"

"Depends on your answer to my offer" I said with a slight smile.

"Ah, I'll take a drink either way" she looks at the alcoholic beverages behind he bar before turning back to face Wires, "I'll have a glass of Jawa juice, on the rocks" she asked.

Wires nodded and turned to face me, "I'll take a pint mate, just the usual one" and he walked off to go pour the drinks.

"That's a nice looking service droid you've got here" Ros said as she watched Wires pour the drinks in rapid succession.

This must have tickled the wrong bolt because Wires span round and dropped the hologram that made him look like any other bartender droid.

"I'll have you know that I am not, just a service droid. I'll efficient I many different form of combat, from melee weapons to blasters. Isn't that right Master?" Wires declared while looking like he wanted some head pats or something.

But I had to agree with him there. With the amount of time I spent on Wires I'd be disappointed in myself if he wasn't that badass.

"He's not wrong there, I spent ages building him. It'd be a waste of time if I never made him that good" I commented before reaching for my beer and taking a swig.

Man, this beers good I thought while wiping the froth from my lips.

"Right, right, relax droid my mistake" Ros remark raising her hands into the air. After taking a sip from her glass, she gets the conversation back on track".

"So what had you scouring all of Coruscant for information on me then. Must be something worth all that hassle".

Putting my serious face back on I begin explaining "While I have bought this place and intend to use it as a bar. I wanted it to double down as an information dealership. The girls that were here when came in, Wires right here's going to put them through the wringer so they learn to handle themselves but they still need some practice getting information out of customers"

"This is where you come in, from what I've heard you've done a few different job since we parted. A bounty hunter and someone spy's for sensitive information for the right price."

"Damn, you've really dug deep for all of that. I take it you want me to teach those sexy looking Twi's how to make a guy run his mouth, is that it?"

"Nope I want you to run the whole place, with Wires of course. I'll be dragged away on missions most of the time, so I won't be able to run this place myself. Of course if you accept, I'll make sure you get a down payment, along with a cut of the money we'll make in the future".

Ros sipped her drink in silence for a while, I gave her time to think everything over while powering through my pint and telling Wires to get me another.

By the time I was on my fourth pint, which wasn't very long to be brutally honest, Ros gave her answer.

"I think I'll take the job, but I'll need to settle a few things here, it shouldn't take more than a couple of days though".

"Good stuff, you needing a hand with whatever that is? I'm not up to much now anyway" I asked.

Ros finished the rest of her jawa juice and replies "No, I'm just tracking down a few people nothing that would require the help of a Jedi, if you can even call yourself that"

"Listen it's not my fault the geezers that run the place make it boring for everyone else, I'd rather run a place like this than sit on my arse meditating"

After she accepted my offer, the two of us spent the rest of the day binge drinking with Wires and the Twi'leks. Eventually causing me to black out for the first ever since coming to this galaxy.

The next day I awakened slouched over the bar. Wires was calmly cleaning glasses behind the bar as I began getting my bearings.

Fuck me that must've been a wild night, last thing I can remember is taking shots with one of the twi'leks before everything became a blur.

On a good note though, I'm feeling the same as normal. No hangover which is always a blessing, I'm not even sure if i could get one if I tried, only time will unravel that mystery.

Still I was expecting the Bar to be in worse shape than this, everything's sparkly clean the only things out of place are the passed out bodies strewn around the different seats.

Turning the my trusty bar man I ask "Did you clean this up?".

At my words Wires took his attention of the cups and replied "Why yes, you told me to keep the place clean once my time on that programming was out"

"Really? Can't remember it. Wait what programming?" I further questioned.

"So you can't remember that either. Would you like me to inform you about the program you wrote?" Wires asked

"Aye mate that would be helpful" I replied trying to think back on the blur that was last night.

"Well it started off when you asked me if I wanted a drink, then you realised that droids can drink. For the next few hours you tried disappeared into the back room trying to find a solution to the problem. Eventually you came back with a new bit of code"

"You said that if I run it in my programming, it would simulate what it's like when drunk. Luckily for me you had it on a time limit or I wouldn't have been able to clean up. I must say it was a enlightening experience" as I just marvelled at my creation.

"So you said I made a program to get droids drunk..."

"Yes"

"While I was drunk..."

"That is correct"

Silence ensued for a few moments, while I let everything sink in.

"Fucking hell, I need to stop drinking... who am I kidding, that'll never happen"

Well with that conversation at its end I started to move the Twi'leks into the rooms upstairs. I'd ask how they managed to fall asleep in those positions but I can't say much after waking up on the bar.

After putting a few of the Twi's to bed, and was ready to tuck the last one in I walked in on something I definitely wasn't expecting. Ros and Dia a pale grey Twi'lek were tangled in the sheets, items of clothing scattered over the room along with the smell of pure r18 pleasure.

Resisting the urge to whistle, I shut the door and put the Twi'lek in another room before going downstairs.

So Ros Lai likes getting frisky with women, interesting.

"Wires pour me a pint, my throats feeling a bit dry" I said to the steamer droid.

While he filled me a glass I thought about my plans for today... literally nothing. Maybe I'll make some more lackeys for Wires with all the scraps, can get the ladies kitted out as well, if they even wake up.

I've been thinking about sending some probe droids out to look for unmapped planets but you  need completely different parts to make them, so that's shelved for now. Oh I could give R2-K5 some upgrades, and by that I mean turning him into a walking armoury.

Contacting the astromech I told him to meet me at the bar for a couple upgrades, he normally stays at the temple doing who knows what but as long as he's not getting into trouble, he can do what he wants.

From then on the rest of the day was just me going full gearhead with the scrap materials I had on hand. First thing I done was make a few of my own model of droid, since I was going to be back in the field soon and the bar will be officially open for business I wanted as much protection as possible for it. Although Wires and Ros should be able to handle most things, being cautious is never a bad thing.

Since I already had the schematics for the model, I could make them at a much faster rate than before, by the time the first people started to wake up, 12 more droids had been created and were powering up.

Since a few of my twi'lek employees were up I began taking measurements for armour and custom weapons. Whilst I don't expect them to be in the line of fire much, I still want to make sure they've got the right kit too power through when shit eventually does it the fan. I'm an avid believer of Murphy's law so when that fateful day arrives when the girls have to suit up, they'll be prepared for it.

When R2-K5 appeared in my workshop, it could barely see what was going on from all the smoke in the room, so I ended up taking a break and having the green skinned Aola fix me something to eat. But from that I ended up having another idea of what to install on K5, a heat sensor so it could see in all conditions and could unleash his hidden weaponry accurately even in low visibility conditions.

By the time I was done pimping out my R2 unit it had a new high power laser, a miniature retractable hover pad with small blasters on all sides, a flame thrower, an ascension cable and an upgraded electric pike made from the remains of an electro staff.

That's it ladies and gents I've officially turned K5 into a murder bot. At this point you could probably place him on the front lines and he'd be more effective that those B1s .

That was when I got a call from someone whom I hadn't spoken to since I left for Geonosis. The figure that appeared on the projection was none other than Laila, who had her padawan braid in signifying that she completed her trials successfully.

"Lycan I'm glad your alright, I heard from some of the older knights at the temple that the battle of Geonosis was extremely deadly for the Jedi, and that only 15% of the Jedi that went survived" she said sounding relieved.

"Aye it was quite bad, but me and my master got through it relatively unharmed." I replied while telling the girls to give me some space.

"The only reason I never called earlier, was because my new Master assured me that you were fine, and that we had a mission to go on. Not that I didn't care about you or anything." Laila explained with a guilty look on her face.

"It's alright, you master did have a point. The war just started so the council probably wanted every available member to be in the field." I told her but she still seemed a little guilty.

"So that's you a padawan now then" I said with an approving smile.

Pushing her hair back to highlight the new braid Laila replied "Yep, the trails weren't that hard. We just had to show our knowledge about the jedi code and then show the instructors our proficiency in our lightsaber forms and meditation. So it was basically just a normal day of training but we were being scored on it."

"What about the tournament did they go ahead with it?" I asked

"Yes, me and Ahsoka fought in the finals but she ended up beating me. Knox came 7th, he was matched up against Ahsoka early on and was put out" Laila mentioned.

"Still, getting to the finals is a good accomplishment, your new master probably noticed you because of it" I pointed out.

Shaking her head she explained "Actually she said that wasn't the case. She was going to take me as a padawan because I trained in multiple support techniques since that's what she specialised in"

Curiously I asked "Who is your Master anyway?"

"Master Shaak Ti was the one who picked me, she already helping me better me force barriers" Laila exclaimed happily.

Shaak Ti huh, that reminds me she still owes me something for the whole Geonosis stunt. Although she does seem like a good fit as Laila's Master.

"Sorry Lycan I've not got much time left. Speak to you soon." Laila said quickly before waving and cutting the transmission.

So that's everyone became a Padawan, I wonder what Ahsoka's up to and if she still got Anakin as her Master.

With these thoughts in my head I went back to having a good time with everyone at the bar.

After the call from Laila, the next few days passed peacefully, well if you can call it that. Once everyone recovered from that session when Ros turned up, me and Wires got to work training them. It's going to take some time but atleast their making progress.

They we currently going throught the basics for close combat, and blaster combat for the ones who never knew how to shoot a blaster properly. The ones that all ready knew just done extra close combat drills for now.

Wires is a great teacher for them, since he has all the basics programmed into him he was able to show them how to perform both subjects perfectly, while also fixing any problems he noticed. With an instructor like him, I barely had to do anything, so you can bet I spent my time productively.

A.K.A drinking while messing around with some force abilities.

Eventually though the day finally came for my meeting with Aayla.

I'm meeting her at a food and drinks place on the upper levels. It was only to two of us going since everyone else was on a mission or something similar.

Putting in some half decent clothes, I get ready to leave. I even got one of the girls to give my horns a deep clean, so they're looking brand spanking new.

I've already sent Aayla the bar location, it's mean to be quite nice compared to the shite down here anyway.

Buttoning up my long sleeve shirt, I put my wrist guard on underneath the sleeves. Just in case I need to diffuse a situation without showing everyone the lightsaber.

Going downstairs to the bar, the girls were sitting at the table eating something, while Wires was covering his joints in oil.

Walking up to Wires I say "That's me leaving, you can do whatever tonight, just don't destroy the place"

"I'll try my best, maybe I should get that program another try. I'm starting to understand why you like drinking so much" The droid said, well on his way to alcoholism.

"Right mate you do that, I'll see you later" on the way to the exit I pass the girls, "Later ladies" getting goodbyes from the twi's I made my way to the specified location.

It took at least 45 minutes to walk there, which isn't that bad considering the size of Coruscant. No way I was flying here, first I'd have to explain to Aayla where I got the ship, and that's a conversation I'd rather not have. Secondly fuck drink driving, or would it be drink flying. I don't trust myself enough to fly around the busy streets without crashing.

Right now I'm standing outside an upper class bar/restaurant, it looks already. No as good as mine but it'll do.

Entering I took a look around, there's tables set out around the place with all different species eating and drinking. That's one of the reasons that I chose this place, the owners a non-human so you get lots of different species as customers. Unlike the other bars around here that are mostly human dominant.

That's the only shite thing about Coruscant and plenty other places. Humans always end up thinking their the superior race and look down on all the other sentient lifeforms in the galaxy. Although it's mostly just the rich and snobby, the ones that are poorer and grow up around other species apart from humans normally don't have these traits.

Anyways I took a seat a one of the tables and ordered a drink, nothing too heavy just a beer to get my liver working.

By the time I was on my second, the person I was waiting for walked inside.

She looked utterly stunning, unlike her usual attire Aayla was wearing a two piece white outfit. A strapless top which cut off just above her hip that showed her toned abdomen, along with a mini skirt that hugged her captivating figure...

And that kid's, is how I met your mother.

Just kidding, I couldn't have babies with her even if I wanted to, I can only produce offspring with the night sisters and maybe iridonian zabraks. That means sex with other species can be totally protection free, fuckin ye haw####

Fuck having brats away, they just take the fun out of everything. Suddenly you have to be responsible and shit. Fuck that noise, being responsible's boring.

Waving Aayla over to the table, she struts through the place, catching the eyes of many male customers along the way.

Taking a seat Aayla says "Nice place you picked, I was expecting to be dragged some where you and Rael normally hang around"

"Just cause I never go to places like this doesn't mean I can't pick one. I made sure to pick a place that wasn't filled with humans." I explained to her.

"I can see why, the people of Coruscant aren't the most diverse when it comes to other species, and you being all tattooed and scary looking probably doesn't help either" she laughed.

"Here give this a try" I said passing the rest of my beer over to her "This stuffs quality, almost as good as the beer Wires orders".

Looking down the glass Aayla gives it a little swirl before finishing what was left.

Using her thumb to wipe the residue from her lip she states, " I don't drink much beer, or alcohol for that matter, but I'm with you on this one. This stuff is quality" as she tried to copy my voice and way of speaking at the end.

Ignoring how turned on I was at watching her drink beer, we ordered another round of the same stuff.

Once they came I asked her "What's got you in a good mood?, you seem quite happy considering what's been going on."

Putting her beer down she states "It's just been a good day, I had a nice meditation session, got a good workout in and you got me out of the temple for the first time in ages for something that wasn't jedi work. So in my opinion it's the best day I've had in a long time"####

"Damn, you must've had a boring life at the temple if that's all it takes for you to be so happy. I mean when was the last time you went out before this?" I questioned, thinking about how fucking bored the jedi must be cooped up in the temple all day.

"Honestly I can't even remember, my master took me out for something to eat a few years ago if that counts?"

I almost spat my beer out hearing that nonsense... but I never. You never waste a drink that's my golden rule.

"That's unbelievably dull" I told her

"Hey, I'll have you know that I've been out more that most of the other knight at the temple" She weakly tried to put up a defence.

Deadpanning at her I said "That's not really an achievement" which made her slouch in her seat.

"Cheer up a bit will you, there's plenty more time to go out. Espically with me, I'm always up for something like this".

We continued to have a laugh making some random chatter and as the night went on, I was progressively ordering stronger and stronger drinks for myself.

Eventually Aayla got curious about what I was drinking.

"What's that stuff your drinking Lycan?" Said wondered pointing at the machination I was drinking.

"Not sure really, a lot of hard liquor mixed with some meiloorun juice" I replied while taking another sip.

With a confused look on her face she asks "I thought you were a Carnivore?"

"That I am but I can still eat fruit and the like, it's just I won't get any nutrients from it" I explained my inner biology to my tipsy master.

With a mischievous look on her face that I failed to catch, Aayla had a quick peek around before dragging the glass out my hand using the force.

Seeing Aayla grasp my drink, I was sure to give her a warning "That stuffs no joke, better off passing it back to someone who can handle it"

No heeding my warning Aayla says "Yea right, I'm the Master here, you just sit back and watch"

Tipping the glass back, the highly alcoholic substance ran down her throat. After first gulp she put the drink back on the table and struggled to hold back her coughs.

With a hilarious dawned on her face she remarked "How can you drink that, it's disgusting"

Sticking her lounge out to emphasise her point, I just laughed it her. It was nice seeing her like this, don't get me wrong she's a cool lass most of the time but this is just a side to her I've never seen before.

A few hours later Aayla was thoroughly drunk and I was getting there, but being the responsible adult I am, I decided to call it a night and drag Aayla back to her room in the temple.

Now, you might be wondering how I'm going to managed that without causing a scene. Well that's where Rael's super secret passageways come in.

Half way up a steep wall Aayla who was tied to my back decided it was a good idea to start swinging her arms around.

"Lycan... Where we going... why are we so high?" She slurred as her body leaned back threatening to plunge both of us to the ground beneath.

"Fuck me, stop swinging around everywhere before we fall" I told her, while using me free hand to bring her back into place.

By the time we reached the vents, I never took long to get near Aayla's quarters. The only problem was the amount of jedi walking around the halls.

On the way up I taught Aayla the mission impossible theme song, so we were playing a dodgy rendition of it as we snuck through the halls.

As soon as there was an opening, dragged Aayla into her room and quick shut the door. Now that the cargo had been delivered I could breathe a sigh of relief. Would've been some scandal if we were caught trespassing on the holy grounds fucking slobbered, but I was successful in avoiding detection.

Placing Aayla on her bed I wrapped her up in covers before taking my place on the couch looking thing. Barely after I put my head down I fell asleep, man was this couch comfy.

------------------------------------------------------------

The next morning I was woke up by the painful cries of my master.

"Lycannnn, heal my head. " Aayla whined as she slowly dragged herself over to me.
