-From the perspective of Nizzal-

After I showered off that eye watering smell from my skin, I decided to pull up some of my new clothes that I bought from my first payment here.

I was not only slacking around in the past few days; you know... I had already spoken with the Immortal Council through deep meditation, and shared my knowledge surrounding the disturbance in the force they felt. By which I mean the event when the clones turned on the jedi.

I also asked them to send a ship to pick me up. Maybe send Ahsoka with it, only to be informed that she left Unity in the company of Rika and a few trainees with the intention of visiting some of our outposts and cities through the gates. Sightseeing while making new friends. Good for her, eh…

I guess she was pretty bored from everyone leaving her behind so suddenly, I could understand that... I will have to apologize later… Or maybe Anakin should apologize, since he was the one who dragged me here without even saying goodbye… Fool got himself kicked out of the order. Not surprising though. At least he still has his force abilities, but his lightsaber was taken away.

Not like that would necessarily mean he can’t have a lightsaber. Just not legally, he could craft one. The Jedi clearly know that too… The bastards probably hope that he will do exactly that, and turn a blind eye on the whole thing. He is still one of their Generals after all.

Anyway, one of our "Force Meditation Droid Fighter Carrier” in short FMDFC is on its way to Coruscant. I should probably warn the jedi before it appears out of the blue. I bet when they see the “Force Carrier” type mother ship that is coming to pick me up, they will stop doubting in me being a grandmaster.

After all, we only have a few of these kinds of ships.

I can’t wait to see their faces... haha!

I kicked out my legs with a wide grin appearing on my face as I sat on the side of my bed cheerfully.

To be honest, I never saw this ship with my own eyes. I only have memories of it from the archive. This was one of the most powerful and unique ships we ever created. It is made with the knowledge and technologies we gathered through the past, from ancient ruins of all kinds.

We have harnessed the energies of the same type of crystal which the gates used to function. This is also the same crystal that Unity, the floating city, uses as a source of energy. The crystal I am talking about is somewhat similar to light saber crystals, except that it grows on its own, albeit very slowly.

This is why we could only create two of these types of ships. Our sole source of crystal is Unity’s crystal garden, which is its reactor. From where we prune the excess crystals, then wait until it grows again. It takes centuries...

It is kind of out of place, but since the Jedi asked me about the zerg it kind of came to my mind that the first time we encountered this type of alien lifeform was when we were searching for outside crystal sources. It turns out those buggers eat these sorts of things... probably that is the reason why they grow so ridiculously large.

But... it also means that it is very unlikely for them to invade territories that don’t have natural sources of these crystals. That means we are safe from the swarm of space locusts.

By the way, the crystal also has a slight boosting effect on all force abilities used in its vicinity. I always have one on me. It’s inside the wristband that we use to teleport while in Unity. It also looks like a nice accessory.

It creates an invisible aura that covers the wearer’s body and makes it possible to warp from any location… until you are close to a main energy line. The one that is created by the Grey Temple pyramid itself.

Otherwise, you can only teleport from one gate to another gate or to a predetermined location covered in crystal energy which only serves as a one way exit. So free style teleportation is limited to Unity... It’s one of the features that makes it a great and unique home.

Well, that... and the fact that the city sized ship in itself can move three times faster than standard hyperspace travel and it’s also cloaked, so you wouldn’t find it if you don’t know where to look for it.

That’s why I said that there is no safer place than the city of Unity. Even if it is discovered, it will simply change its location, never to be seen again. In fact, after a few centuries of research about two thousand years ago, we managed to figure out how to use its main computer. It was a very hard nut to crack... since the computer was a huge crystal. I bet you can see the problems now. How do you give instructions to a crystal?

Well, it turns out that you have to do it through the use of the force.

That wouldn’t take a long time to figure out naturally. What took much longer was that... that you have to hold a certain type of crystal in your hand while doing so. It was plain and stupid luck that we figured it out, honestly. I won’t even try to cover it up.

So after we could communicate with it, and instruct it a lot of things became easier. First of all, the city wasn’t cloaked when we found it. We wouldn’t really find it if it was. But we figured that it could do such a thing, as well... we programmed it to travel between ten predetermined locations throughout a year, then repeat it, while being cloaked...

Sigh...

Yes, I know, we have a pretty strong persecution complex.

In our defense, if you were the one who found a lost city of a still functioning ancient alien civilization, you probably wouldn’t want to share it either. Especially not the second time, I mean come on... My heart still bleeds from even thinking about the Rakatan Star Forge... Fucking hell! I... I mean Revan had to destroy it to keep the jedi from taking it for themselves. No way we could let that happen once more.

I huffed to myself angrily... But well... where was I again?

Ah, yes... it was the ship that was coming for me. Yes, yes... Now I remember. I was about to describe it... The ship has a cylinder like form, naturally it’s not a perfect cylinder, that would look ridiculous... its only the general form. And epic and... It has five hundred droid controlled fighter ships, and another one hundred heavy bombers.

Yes, since we don’t really have that many people to spare, we like to use droids as much as possible. I mean, yeah... it is not as impressive as a droid control ship... with over one thousand and five hundred vulture class fighter ships, but it only takes up one third of the size of that.

Anyway... the efficiency of this ship is in that, that it’s controlled by a single person. Yeah, you heard it right. This person who must be a specially trained force sensitive is using battle meditation to fine tune and direct the swarm of starfighters otherwise controlled by the droids. And since the fighters are droids, you can freely sacrifice them to create traps for enemy fighters. It’s like a game of chess, but better.

Also, the ship has a synthesizer factory on board, which can be used to build new fighters, in place of the lost ones even in the midst of a battle. Almost everything on the ship happens automatically until there is enough material, and it will create new fighters to fill the maximum number that can be stored.

That is just terrifying, in my opinion.

The ship also has an unusually powerful shield, thanks to the crystals used in its creation, that naturally create a relatively strong energy absorbing barrier around the ship, boosting the effectiveness of the shield generators.

The entire ship is created with the concept of creating a carrier ship used by a single powerful force wielder. The control panel and every order you give to the ship are managed through the force and aided by hundreds of pre-installed automatization procedures.

There is one downside though… It is impossible to control it without a connection to the force, and takes years to master how to properly drive it. Since you control everything through the force, and that means through your very thoughts and will.

I, of course, have the knowledge inherited from a previous master who took part in the creation of the first one. Master Ari, often called by his nickname: The Unlucky One. Yeah, he was the cerean guy who was snatched and locked into a loony bin from speaking his mind out loud in public... The first victim of the legacy left by Bell Plaha. Apparently, he was also a ship maniac at heart, with an obsession to detail.

I might be a bit rusty with the controls, but with the memories of this ship fanatic, I am pretty sure that I would rank above average for the first try in controlling a “Force Carrier”.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that it has a continuous beam cannon as its chief weapon. About ten of these ships could burn up the surface of a standard sized planet in an hour, not that we ever tried, but you can make rough estimations by melting through asteroid fields. Unfortunately, we only have two of the monster ships ever made.

I was already giddy from the very thought of seeing it for real, not just in a memory... a bit unbecoming of a Grandmaster but, I am also a kid now, and kids don’t care. I couldn’t stop grinning from the excitement. I don’t know who will drive it on the way here, but I hope she or he will let me have a bit of a test drive.

I am the Grandmaster... of course I will be allowed. Hehe!

But, now it is probably time to call up Obi’Wan and tell him to expect a ship twice the size of a Venator-class Star Destroyer... to appear from hyperspace near Coruscant tomorrow in the early afternoon hours.

I took out the communicator and called him right away. It took him quite some time to answer it, but he eventually managed to do so.

The familiar face of the tired-looking Jedi Master appeared in the form of a miniature hologram.

-Hello there, I didn’t expect you to call me so suddenly… We barely left the restaurant. Did you forget to tell us something?

I nodded.

-Yes, you could say that. I forgot to mention that a star destroyer class fighter carrier will arrive near Coruscant predictively in the early afternoon hours tomorrow. You don’t need to be antsy about it. The ship is affiliated with the Order of the Grey. They are coming to pick me up and maybe say hi.

There was a long silence coming from the other end of the communicator. It was eventually broken by a heavy sigh.

-Haa… why I am not surprised that you forgot to mention something like this?

I smirked.

-Master, you know me so well…

Oh, what the… did he just roll his eyes at me? My wondering moments were cruelly disrupted by Obi’Wan’s voice.

-Don’t even start that, from our earlier discussion, I have finally realized, without a doubt, that you are no more a child than master Windu.

Oh, boy… you are not even close.

I laughed. Then I looked at him with a straightened and emotionless expression, which was my normal look.

-You did take your sweet time to reach this conclusion.

-… I am not absolutely sure, if I truly believe it just yet… Your childish antics didn’t help either…

I gave him a nasty look. Which he shrugged off quite easily.

-Fine, I will alert the council and the system defense forces. We don’t need another battle here. The last one barely ended.

-Thank you… I was meaning to ask, why were you so interested in zerg-…

-I am afraid that I need to go now. We shall speak again later. Bye.

-… Whatever…
