Chapter 3: Revival of Old Rivals

After the 6 girls entered their own house, they noticed the paper with the first mission on the floor. It said, 'If you want to go to the mountain you need the revival, of the already dead and gone 1980's rivals'. 

"What is this? It even rhymes! Who do you think has written this letter, and how do we revive the dead anyway?" Solar's face instantly scrunched up at this unfunny rhyme. 

"Well, we don't know what to do but if we look at our miracle pods the harmony energy is already filled up! Maybe this will give us the answer?" Nanami exclaimed while looking at the harmony energy filled up like liquid inside the pods. 

"So do we use this energy to revive them or what?" Chino seemed to notice the usage of the harmony energy. 

"You're right. This energy is only used to revive the dead, fight giant monsters, and purify the evil. If we use this power too much, we won't be able to sustain our transformations when we fight." Liiri explained to the other members. Just then, they found some small, colorful puppy-like dolls on the bed. 

"What are these dolls? Are they for us to play? Weird........ we're way past the age of playing dolls." Nanami wondered before touching the pink one. Just then, the dolls all sprang to life as if they were waiting for the girls to notice them.

"Hello! We are your new best friends, the Rhythms. My name is Poppun, and the other ones are called Rocky, Kuranosuke, Alm, and Sopra. We will guide you on our journey." said the pink one as the girls all stared in awe. 

"To gather their souls, you must go to Hades. It will require a lot of harmony energy to open up the portal, but it will be refilled anyway. And there are 4 rules - One, do not eat the food of the un derworld. Two, do not be defeated by monsters. Three, please answer the questions correctly. Four, do not look back on your way out." said Alm (the yellow one). 

"We understand. Let us go in then!" Nanami answered, and the puppies all said yes, thus creating a magic portal to the underworld. But after they went in, angry monsters started to attack them. 

"We should fight back, not run away!" Milk said, and the atmosphere turns into a Deltarune-like battle system while Rude Buster plays in the background. The girls moved their hearts around to avoid monster attacks and gather TP so they can use their special skills. 

(Nanami's Union Burst - Fresh Peach Heart Shower, Chino's Union Burst - The Ice-Creamer, Sumire's Union Burst - Fragrance Blast, Solar's Union Burst - Daybreaker, Milk's Union Burst - Healing Rain) 

After they defeated the monsters, they became very hungry, but had to hold in their hunger due to the rules. Instead, Milk made fresh milk using the bottle that she held, and it was enough to fill their hunger and thirst. 

As they ventured deep into the Hadean realms, suddenly they found a quiz sign that said "When is the birthday of Candara?". 

"What is this? I don't know anyone like Candara. Is there like, a time limit for this or something?" Nanami asked. 

"I think there is..........." says Liiri. 

"Ugh, whatever, I hope this is all a joke to prank us!" said Solar. Just then, she found some worms crawling on the wall, forming some numbers...... 

"Look at that! The worms kinda look like 112......... 112....... 1/12? Is that the answer?" Nanami said, resulting in the correct answer. Just then, the door to the Star Seed storage opened, revealing a room filled with tiny, colorfull gemstones.

"Where are we?" Chino asked, and the Hadean System Keeper answered that this is the Star Seed storage, the place where they store Star Seeds of the dead and return it back to their souls. The colors were all different and labeled with names so the girls could tell which seed is whose. They retrieved the seeds and kept walking untill they found the old rivals (Moeko, Honami, Sumiko, Ritsuko, Ai). 

Nanami opened the lids to return the Star Seeds to their original owners and they came back to life, leaving the rivals in pure confusion. 

"Uh...... Hey, where are we, and why are we alive again? Can somebody please tell me how?" said Moeko. 

"Lemme tell you something, you girls were all dead by a Yandere and then brought back to life by us!" said Solar, and explained all the details that Ryoba Aishi used to exterminate the rivals one by one. 

The rivals were very shocked to hear the details, but they were also happy to hear that their saviors were here. 

"Come with us and then you will be having a new life, a cool life. Just follow us into the light, and most importantly do not look back!" Nanami warned them, and the rivals followed the MiracleTunes into the light, but they were shocked to see their aged up appearances. 

"Omigosh, what the juice, we look honking hideous!" Ritsuko exclaimed in shock.

"Uhh........ Don't worry ladies. You must have been aged up when you got back into living form. I'll find a way to make you look younger!" Nanami assured the women, and just then she found a pony doll lying on the ground that looked just like Twilight Sparkle, and there was a message called "Go to Ponyville to find the answer." 

"Ponyvile? And I have to visit this pony to get the youth potions?" Nanami could not believe that a pony could help her, but she opened the portal and got to Twilight anyway. 

"Hello, Twilight, excuse me but can I get some youth potions, it's for the 80s YanSim rivals that we revived.......?" 

"Ah, it's simple. Just bring me 5 rats and 5 raspberries. That will be the missing parts for the potion I am creating." 

After receiving the quest from Twillight and running around to catch rats and pick berries, Nanami delivered the ingredients to Twilight and waited until the potion was done. 

"I'm done with the potions, and here are some magic necklaces that they can wear to stay young. Good luck on your mission, and don't forget there are more YanSim 80's rival girls that you can save from their awful lives and turn young again before going to Mt. Emza!" said Twilight as she handed over the potions and necklaces to Nanami. 

"I'm back, and here are the youth potions and necklaces to turn you back to your younger selves!" Nanami exclaimed as she came back with the items in store, and the women instantly drank them to become into their teenage selves. 

"We feel all better now!" Ai marveled as she looked into the mirror. 

"Yeah, that's great. Tomorrow we have to save the ghost girl named Sumire Saitozaki, and the other rivals that are alive but did not end well thanks to Ryoba's sabotaging, and the other two that had a happy ending......." Solar said as she looked into the list of missions to solve, her face scrunching up as she saw a shape of a demon and a cute but creepy bunny doll on the list........
