Chapter 13: An Explanation And An Apology

People have been very kind-heartedly asking about the next chapter, and have been very encouraging about the story start. I want to apologize for the ongoing delay. To explain, I want to simply briefly say that I have had a death in my family and it has affected both my desire to write and when I do sit down to write I can't seem to find the words to put down. I've tried to sit down and put out chapter 12 about three times now, but I'm never able to get it down the way I want. On the one hand, I don't want to drop a half-assed chapter that makes people lose interest, but I also know that not posting any chapters is just as bad for a story that's just getting started. 

This is a story that I intended to write to just feel good and enjoy the process of writing for the first time. I can't write it the way things are now. I fully intend to write more, because there's something exciting about taking a story, my story, and putting it out there for other people instead of just reading what others make. I honestly suggest that people who have an interest check back after some time, as I feel bad about the idea of people checking regularly for chapters that I'm not providing. 

Thanks for the compliments on the start, and I'm sorry for the timing of saying that there's going to be longer before I write more.
