Chapter 33: Long awaited date~2!

"Yuu, I have noticed quite some time that you don't eat much outside. Why is that?"

While sipping on her boba tea, Mio asked with a slight raise of her brows as she realized that throughout the breakfast, Yuuta only had a single sandwich, completely incomparable to the amount which Mio just gulped.

She was embarrassed slightly upon realizing how shamelessly she ate but the person she was sitting with, had a complete awareness about her minute things, so being moderate felt meaningless.

Yuuta upon hearing th cheery tone of Mio smiled slightly before he wiped the whipped creams from the side of Mio's lips.

"Mm."

Mio frowned playfully but didn't reject his advances, moreover, she brought her face forward to let him do his stuff.

"Umm, you can say I am overly cautious about my health. Don't take it rudely since I am a weird exception at my age which my mother also agrees with."

Hearing such a statement, Mio separated the straw from her lips, before she said something that Yuuta never thought of hearing this early in their date.

"Well, it's okay if you get chubby. I won't dislike you."

With a sweet smile, Mio innocently spoke her honest thoughts. But she completely missed realizing what she said at the end of her words.

However the devil in front wasnt kind enough to let things go as casually as it was spoken.

"You won't dislike me even if I become overweight, that means you like me now too?"

With a cheeky smile, which eventually brought a lot of gaze from the other customers, Yuuta saw Mio almost choking on her boba milk as she found it difficult to say any word as a response.

But Yuuta was Yuuta.

When he becomes stubborn about something, he doesn't leave it until he doesn't obtain it.

Converting his grin into a dry laugh he started fiddling with the cup he had as with a grieving look, he spoke in an extremely innocent and pained emotion clouding his tone.

"It's okay, don't trouble yourself. I know that you don't like me. And sorry for, badly cornering you every time."

Anyone who would have looked at the current Yuuta might have felt their heart-melting in an instant. And coupled with the fact that the all-time cold Yuuta was making such a face, made the sight even more precious.

Mio looked at him with her heart clenching in pain as she moved her hand slowly on top of Yuuta's, before in a very soft sound she whispered her plea.

"Yuu... won't you let me do this properly...?"

**BANG** 

Witnessing such an extremely adorable requesting face of his girl, Yuuta felt an ammo of 5.5mm pierced through his heart as he subconsciously brought his hand on his chest, much to Mio's surprise.

The one who tried to dominate the situation was pushed into a corner without mercy at all, as Yuuta accepted his defeat in the end and nodded wordlessly.

Mio even being surprised because of the sudden gesture Yuuta, smiled contently as she nodded in return before she finished all the food.

After the couple left the cafè, they started walking toward the fun park which was about eight hundred meters away from the cafè.

Since Mio stuffed herself more than her limit, she plainly rejected the idea of a taxi that Yuuta was about to book.

Walking side by side on the street, the couple naturally attracted a lot of attention from the passers-by.

And it was to be expected. A tall handsome young man and an adorable girl walking together would obviously make every eye from the surrounding, fall on them at least once.

On the way, as Mio and Yuuta chatted casually about school and stuff, mainly focused on the upcoming event, Yuuta noticed the slight trouble that Mio was having due to the sandal she wasn't used to wear.

A small frown formed on his brows as Yuuta finally halted Mio on the side pavement, much to the latter one's confusion.

"Wait here. I will come back in a sec."

Without letting her say anything, Yuuta went inside the store in front of which they were standing. 

Mio saw him entering th shop and she instantly regretted being not be able to hide the slight bites she was feeling around her ankle.

'I am such an idiot....'

Thinking that she was troubling Yuuta one after another since the time they met today, she bit her lips before she walked toward the streetlight and watched the passing vehicles, in embarrassment.

Suddenly her train of thoughts which was mainly focused on the boy she has been fallen for, halted as she heard a voice from her right.

"Mio?"

Mio slowly turned toward the voice, before she saw a boy not older than her standing there with his finger pointed at her.

"Mio Nanami right?"

Mio slightly frowned before her eyes widened a little as she also seemed to identify the person in front.

"Kyouya Nakamura?".

"Yeah, it's me. Oh how long it's been."

The person smiled sweetly as he got confirmation that the girl he called out for was indeed his middle school friend.

"Look at you, Mio. You have become extremely gorgeous unlike in the past when you only loved to act like a tomboy."

Mio with a slight smile was about to reply something which might have made the atmosphere awkward, when she felt a big hand covering her bare shoulder.

"Who is this?"

Asked in a heavy tone was the silver-haired boy who previously went inside to buy sneakers for Mio, and after coming back saw an unknown man talking to his girl.

Yes, he was indeed pissed.

The raven-haired boy glanced at the hand which Yuuta put on Mio's shoulder so fluently, before he smiled at Yuuta and introduced himself.

"Hey. I am Kyouya Nakamura. Mio's friend and who you could be?"

The smile on the boy's face didn't vanish as he asked politely about the other person, only to get shocked in the end.

"I am Yuuta, Mio's one-sided lover."

Said in the utmost confident tone was the ex-militant trainee who had his priority straight and didn't hesitate to fight for it.

"Pfftt!!"

The smile on Kyouya's face broke into two as suddenly Mio burst into laughter as she heard the remark of the boy who clearly was getting jealous for nothing.

Both of them, stared at Mio in perplexion as she finally halted her stream of laughter.  

 

Wiping the tears from the corner of her eyes she held the hand that Yuuta had on her shoulder before she stared directly at Kyouya as she concluded the awkward talk mercilessly.

"Yeah, as you heard he is my one-sided-lover and a very precious person to me. So Kyouya, let's catch up some other time since I and my adorable lover, have a date planned for today~"
