Chapter 58: Sayuri is embarrassed~

It's been almost an hour or so since the group started hiking the hill while chatting and enjoying nature.

Since the temperature was cold, the activity helped them remain heated under the faint sunlight. There were other hikers too who, just like Yuuta and co, liked to enjoy family trips surrounded by mother nature.

Back to the Kiriya and Akane families…

The maids were keeping up the pace since they actively exercised due to their job in the mansion. One of them keeps the lady of the mansion fit, and another just to look good as an assistant of Yuuta keeps her body in shape.

The same was for the two youngsters, Yuuta and Sayuri. Both of them were physically fine and able to walk without any difficulty.

Their chats varied from school to the distant past. Sayuri becomes increasingly talkative as time passes, and she gets comfortable around Yuuta. She told him about her middle school and things she liked to do but didn't have a talent for.

Even though only an hour had passed, Yuuta might have learned various things about her that he never intended to ask.

Yuuta being a good listener, just added some of his views and natural speculation. Just like with Mio, he casually, too, doesn't like to speak much; instead, he prefers to be the audience.

The last group, consisting of the older ones, kept up with the rest somehow since the lady among the three had awful stamina, especially when it came to climbing.

After what felt like a mile covered in more than an hour, Mirai finally gave up as she raised her hands and shouted for the others to listen.

"Let's get a fucking break, already! You guys high on Red Bull or what?!"

Toshio smiled wryly as he witnessed such a side of his wife after so long today. Hajime wasn't also unfamiliar with this Mirai, who gets annoyed too easily and starts shouting at others.

Yuuta shook his head with a sigh before he walked to his mother and extended a helping hand to the lady.

"Thank you, Yuu. Only you understand how I feel."

Yuuta took his dramatic yet adorable mother to a side bench before the maids came rushing down.

"We are terribly ashamed of being careless, madam."

Sana and Chigusu bowed in unison as in the enjoyment of hiking; they neglected their duty. The sense of guilt lightened up when Mirai's soothing words reached up to them.

"It's quite fine, you two. Don't feel burdened about such a thing, and enjoy the trip, okay?"

The two maids assisted Mirai as Yuuta saw Sayuri fidgeting at her place. Since the two were already with his mother, Yuuta walked back to her.

"Something wrong?"

Asking in an unsure tone, Sayuri got startled before she looked away in shyness. Yuuta didn't have to ponder for long before he uttered something which seemed plausible.

"Washroom?"

Yuuta made a blunt hunch which hit the spot.

With her face adapting a deep blush, Sayuri nodded slightly without daring to turn her gaze.

Yuuta sighed in helplessness since he didn't think such a trivial thing should be felt ashamed about.

"Sana, come here."

The little maid, upon hearing her master's call, instantly rose on her feet before she darted to Yuuta like an obedient child.

Something he whispered in her ear before she nodded with an unwavering gaze as she had been delegated a critical task.

Walking to Sayuri with slow steps, she bowed once before she spoke in a low tone.

"Please follow me, Lady Sayuri."

Sayuri glanced at Yuuta for once with gratification before she started following Sana to the nearest restroom, some meters back the path.

Yuuta went back to the group as they asked about Sayuri. Making some excuses since he knew it would make Sayuri fluster afterward, he brushed off the matter.

Well, everyone understood, even though he tried to dodge.

Chigusu gave hot coffee to everyone while Toshio and Hajime attended some of their calls when they had the time.

Mirai was getting her feet massaged, while she chatted with Chigusu as she also had some cookies for refreshments.

Strangely almost twenty minutes had passed since Sayuri left, which made Yuuta a little unsettled. The restroom wasn't far, so there wasn't any reason for them to stay this long.

Even Hajime and Mirai started to get worried as the prior mentioned was about to go and check on them.

"Hajime-san, wait. I will go look for them."

Yuuta didn't wait for his response as he dropped the bag near the other luggage and walked at a rushed pace where the two went.

Little did he expect that in mere twenty minutes, so many incidents could have taken place…
