Chapter 67: Why do you love me?!

"*Huff* Yo-you are ruthless, you know that right*hah*?"

While panting like she has ran a marathon, Mio complained with slight moisture still remaining in her oceanic eyes.

Her face was flushed all over, giving a different charm to her usual cool beauty side. Thankfully, she was sitting in Yuuta's lap since currently, there was no energy remaining in her legs to even walk a step.

His kissing methods are so engaging and enthralling that Mio was never able to reject even though she ran out of her breath many times. She was at his mercy but she never said that his intense love makes her uncomfortable.

She likes when he shows his desire for her and touches her body in passion. It was the first time she was letting someone be so intimate with her and fortunately, she got Yuuta as her partner who never does anything which could hurt her.

"Blame that expression of yours for me being ruthless. I just can't get enough whenever I see you like that."

Mio was uncertain what Yuuta was talking about as she lay helplessly in his embrace while allowing her body to be completely dependent on him.

Yuuta gently tucked her beautiful hair which got disheveled in the wild action which might have led to a different end.

But Yuuta had enough sanity left to not take things to that stage, since he knew it might hurt her feelings.

Yuuta snapped out of his distracting thoughts, before he got up from the bed while still carrying Mio in his embrace.

He was just not wanting to separate from her and Mio can see it evidently from his actions.

She couldn't help but grin and rub her face on his neck to show her delight.

Yuuta chuckled slightly upon seeing the adorable cat as he took a box from her cupboard with a (+) sign over it.

Landing slowly back on the bed, Yuuta sat in his previous position before he took out an ointment out of the first aid box.

Wordlessly, he twisted the cap and took Mio's hand in on top of his palm. Squeezing the tube, Yuuta poured some gel on top of her reddened wrist.

Putting the tube back, Yuuta started rubbing the gel over her skin gently.

Mio tilted her head with a sigh filled with awe as she saw her favorite person being so concerned about her. She have lost how many times he had made her fall for him, all over again.

"Why do you love me so much?"

Out of curiosity or it might be her overflowing love for him, Mio asked something which has been making her wonder for quite a long time.

The new version of Yuuta could have enchanted any girl he could have desired with those looks and such demeanor. Why he chose Mio, she never concluded upon the answer.

Yuuta raised his brows upon hearing her unexpected question as he turned her wrist and started applying the gel on the other side.

It didn't take him long to reply since he didn't have to think much about it.

"First tell me, whether you would like a gentlemanly answer or a reason which only a bastard can think to pursue a girl?"

Mio was surprised to hear that even Yuuta had such a side. But she wanted something sweet before the spicy.

"The safe one first."

Yuuta smiled with a light shake of his head before he started to expose the very reason how he came to understand this feeling of love.

"Despite having feelings for the same guy, you decided to support your friend. That shows how sacrificing and kind you are, Mio. And I respect that part of you."

"I didn't have feelings for him. I just wanted to protect him."

Mio protested but Yuuta didn't bat an eye and moved with his reasoning.

"I like your cool side who plays basketball and remains competitive with whoever walks in as your opponent. From your caring behavior toward others to your clumsiness, I adore them all. From your beautiful eyes to those supple fluffy lips, makes my heart race. From your hair to your small gestures, I think they need to be protected the most. Not to talk about that dangerous smile which makes me wonder whether I really deserve such a girl. I don't know-"

"Stop! That's enough for today. My heart hasn't received enough training yet!"

It was too much for Mio for being complimented about almost everything. Even in her whole sixteen years of life never received so many praises as Yuuta worded altogether.

She was happy to be loved so much, but still, it was too much to handle!

Yuuta wanted to go for another half an hour or so but looking at her embarrassed enticing expression he held back.

Taking her other hand, Yuuta nodded and started his massage on her other wrist.

Mio took a long pause before she somehow stuttered something that she was incredibly curious to know.

"And that bastard part?"

Yuuta's hand halted for a moment since he didn't expect Mio to be able to ask him further. But since he was the one who decided to be honest, Yuuta won't go back on his words now.

After a heavy sigh, Yuuta disclosed those facts which he came to realize after his rebirth about Mio and which made him realize that her nature isn't the only thing he loves about her.
