The forest, once ripe with prey, was silent. There were no roars and cries of nearby beasts, only the annoyingly persistent groan of my own belly. It bugged me, irked me, because it was all that I could hear in a forest that should be brimming with life. Full of delectable, if a bit small, meals for me to feast on and ferocious beasts for me to hunt. Yet, it wasn't.

The only thing I could smell was essence off in the distance, and the sent of all the green surrounding me. So rather than having the banquet that I envisioned upon leaving the tree, I found myself slithering through a forest two sizes small. My wide hips and serpentine lower body bumped into trees and caused them to lean out of my way. A belly big enough to fit a couple of deer inside it led the way. And breasts bigger than most men's torsos blocked most of my view of the ground. It would have been annoying, almost maddening, if I didn't so thoroughly enjoy being so big. Instead it was just a minor inconvenience along the way to all the essence I smelt off in the distance.

Egging me on as I slithered towards it, hissing all the while. Which was another thing that was new. I hissed now and had a snake like tongue and eyes to go along with the change. It was odd and would definitely take some getting used to.

I ignored it for now though, and solely focused on my slithering. On the way that my body bounced and wobbled and jumped with every one of my movements. From the way my coils, my entire length shook, to the way my belly furiously jiggled causing my breasts to bounce up and down like a pair of oversized beach balls. It was almost intoxicating being so large. Like I was a giant and the world around me was made of fragile toys.

A handful of berries found their way into my mouth as I made the observation. The way they squished and easily disappeared down my throat only serving to make me hungrier, more eager to hunt.

At the same time, I came across a river and stopped. Drinking from the water was a wolf three times bigger than it should have been. Beside the wolf was a tiny woman no bigger than I had once been. Both I and the woman stared for a moment, similar thoughts no doubt running through our heads.

Was she an enemy, or just another passerby?

I decided that she was not before she could become one and stretched out a hand in greeting.

"HI, I'm Anita steel. A pleasure to meet you." I hissed, pleasantly aware of my own nudity, the way it made people feel, and how little it bothered me.

Hesitantly, the woman rose up and shook my hand. The entire she made sure to keep a hand close to the dagger sheathed at her hip. "Hello... Anita. What might your intentions be, hmm? Most cultivators wouldn't dare be so polite without a reason."

"I'd just rather not have to eat you or your wolf." I said, jokingly. Casually. Perhaps a bit too casually.

Despite that the woman made no reaction. She just stared in silence for a bit. It was awkward and made me feel as if I had just ruined any chance at making a new friend in this world.

But then, right as I thought to apologize, the woman poked one of my boobs. "You're new here aren't you? One of those randoms plucked from somewhere in the universe and dropped here without a clue on what cultivating is. Right?"

"Yes." I admitted.

"Good. That means you're probably the most trustworthy person I'll ever meet. Still got those forgotten values wrapped around your noggin, eh."

"Umm, yes?" I answered, unsure on whether she was asking me a question or not.

"Name's Loretta." The woman - Loretta - said. Then she took a step back and pointed at the wolf behind her. "And this here is Spick."

For a second, I briefly pondered what sort of name was Spick. It didn't seem like something you'd name a wolf the size of the one behind her. Half as large as my gut and big enough to ride like a small horse. Which, for a wolf, made Spick absolutely massive. I had no doubt that could fight and kill a bear on its own. And considering that it was the companion of a cultivator it could probably do more than that.

But, as I stared and examined her pet wolf, Loretta stared and examined me. Her eyes traveled along my length, going from my seat destroying rump and hips all the way down to the tip of my tail. Then, as sudden as a gun shot, her gaze turned to my belly and breasts. Which I couldn't blame her for staring at.

Even without my serpentine lower half I would still be an eye catching anomaly. So I didn't make mention of her staring and shifted my own gaze towards the essence in the distance. It had a strange taste to it, like something old and rotten.

"So you smell that too, do ya?" Loretta suddenly asked, her gaze breaking away from my chest as if she hadn't stared at it at all. "Essence, tainted by corruption. Twisted by a twisted cultivator. If I were you I'd stay far away.... And get some clothes."

"Alright," I said. Still staring in the corrupted essence's direction. "And where would I even find clothes in my size?"

"If you give me a bit I could you make Ya' something. Maybe even teach you how to make something yourself."

"I think I'd like that. Thank you."

"Don't mention it." She said.

... And then she set to work. From a bag hidden behind her wolf, Loretta pulled out a collection of fabrics. They ranged wildly in color from dark reds to dirty whites. With them in hand and a sewing needle she quickly made me both a bra and a dress.

It was like watching a master at work. She cut and sewed, pulled and combined fabric and needle in a beautiful display. Then she tried teaching me to do it, starting with what she called the basics. Which, in truth, they were anything but basic. And despite having a portable table attached to my waist, I failed miserably at making anything. Sleeves ended up misplaced, scarfs didn't come out quite right, and bras were missing entire cups.

But after some time, patience, and a lot of Faith, I made one thing of worth. A simple wrap for my belly. It was warm, comfy, and hidden by my tarp of a dress.

Swaddled in these new clothes, I thanked Loretta and again set off into the forest. Alone and hungry. Too eager for another meal. My hunger leading me straight towards the corrupted essence I felt in the distance. Every slither bringing me that much closer to the source.

And then, still a mile away, I saw it. Greenish smoke climbing out of a crater and into the sky, choking everything in the nearby area with an impossible to avoid Taint. It was like poison on my tongue, a disease writhing in the very air, an infection looking for a victim.

At its center was a strange man, who suddenly looked up and stared in my direction. Three words on his tongue.

"Coming for you."
