Corruption, sick and tainted, writhed beneath my scales. Adding its own power to the poison in my thorns. Turning an already deadly and potent weapon into an even deadlier one. Further mixing and increasing in quantity as I slithered through the forest. Eyes in search of prey, flicking from target to target as I caught and ate. My breakfast a gluttonous meal of carnage that lasted until my stomach was full.

Once it was, I stopped by one of the nearby rivers for a drink. The water felt refreshing, invigorating even, on my tongue. Quenching a thirst that has been building up for the last few hours. Then after having my share of nature's bounty I set off in search of adventure. My eyes again on the hunt, only now they searched for things of interest.

And in this bizarre forest it didn't take long to find something.

Off in the distance, sitting atop a cliff in between some trees, there was a strange stone formation. It shone with a blue light that drew the eye. Incandescent lines crisscrossing its shape creating an image of raging rivers forever twisting amongst themselves. I slithered up to it, my bigger than a Boulder belly leading the charge. Rocks large and small were shoved aside or crushed. Sticks, logs, and even small trees were demolished by me as I slithered upward.

The entire time my eyes never left the small structure, except for when my breasts bounced high enough to blind me. An experience I had long since gotten used to. Even my extra set of arms had become normal in the past day since I fought the old man. Another change that had become as natural to me as having arms in the first place.

Cautiously, I touched the stone structure. Rising up and laying my upper body atop my belly as I reached down to touch it. My ever softening middle warming me as a current of essence ran up my arm. The structure then began to hum, growing louder and louder.

Then my vision went white as a flash of light pulsed out of the stone. Blue lines scored themselves into my memory, only to fade away. The white went away a second after, and I opened my eyes to discover I wasn't in the same location as before.

Trees were replaced with pillars of smooth stone. Grass and dirt replaced with a marvelous golden floor. And above it all was a single star burning bright in the sky, its rays warming my scales. The essence in the air completing the visual and sensory picture of a long abandoned palace.

A palace that was not lacking in guards. Two bronze skinned swordsmen flanked me as soon as I appeared. Their size in comparison to mine highlighted to me just how much bigger I had gotten then when I was still human. The old me would look like an ant to my new form: fat, scaly, and armed with nothing but an oversized tail.

Uncaring of my inner reflections, the two palace guards charged at me. Their silver blades flashing with the light of the sun.

I swung my tail towards them, forcing the two to scramble out of the way. One went left, while the other opted to jump over me. Targeting the one who jumped, I dashed in and grabbed him before he could even touch the ground. There was surprise in his metallic eyes as I held him up by an arm. It was clear to me that he expected me to be as slow as I looked. Which he honestly couldn't be blamed for.

At this point I was half as big as a house and would only be getting larger. Still his assumption had left him wide open. With an ease reserved for giants and monsters, I crushed his arm and sat him on my tail, then went after the other guard.

Who was lost in a maze of shifting scales.

While I had "fought" the first guard, I used my tail to trap the second guard. Thanks to the height that my serpentine lower half rose to and it's length, I was more than capable of making a tiny labyrinth. One that was more than sufficient the guard trapped. He had tried climbing over only to knocked down or land amongst more of my scales. Then after enough times of that he tried cutting his way through to no avail.

In the past few days since my most recent vision, my scales had hardened and grown to a ridiculous degree. Becoming sharp as knives in the process.

They poked and cut at the bronze skinned guard as I continued to shift about, slowly constricting around him. The space he had to move around in my self made maze shrunk until he had no space to move at all. It was then that I actually confronted him.

Startled, the guard jumped back - into me - as I lowered myself towards him. He stared up at me for a fraction of a moment before attempting to stab me. His sword snaked through the air, directly towards my breasts. Only to strike nothing but air as I swiftly lifted my upper half out of range. As he struggled to come to grips with the fact that he missed a target so large, I again lowered myself. This time doing so with a smile.

"If you don't wanna die then hand over your sword please." I asked in as polite a tone I could manage.

To my surprise the guard made a mechanical grunt and tried to stab me, again.

Again, I dodged just as easily as before. Though, when I lowered myself this time I didn't give him the option to surrender. The guard was crushed to death between my scales. He bled black oil and made one final mechanical growl in the last moments of his false life.

Realizing that he was a robot, I decided to eat his remains. Partly to hide them, and partly because I was peckish - My hunger was never truly sated after all. Then once it had been safely devoured, I slithered over to the other robotic guard and ate it as well.

They tasted about as good as one would expect a robot to: Oily and very crunchy.

Well they would have been crunchy if I chewed that is. Instead my throat was just coated in a bizarrely oily - slash - metallic aftertaste that just wouldn't go away. It bothered me as I further explored the palace. Slithering from room to room, my length enough to occupy several at once.

Then after a bit of searching and eating robots, I came across a room that was very different from the rest. Whereas every other room I'd explored thus far clearly belonged in a palace, this one didn't. The walls were red with dried blood and made of uniform stone blocks. Cracks spreading throughout. Even stranger were the bones that covered the floor, cracking and shattering as I slithered inside.

At least I tried to slither in. But, as it turned out, the room wasn't made for anyone in my size. The doorway was incredibly average sized. Which was several times too small for not only my hips, but also for my belly. The stone frame bit into my middles sides as I tried to force my way in, cracks spider-webbing out even further.

Still, I stubbornly refused to give up and after some time I managed to get my upper body inside. Only to come to complete stop at my hips, the widest part of my body. As the transitioning section between my human half and serpent half, my hips were incredibly broad. Far moreso than even my belly. It made getting into things, particularly anything not big enough for a polar bear, a difficult endeavor. Despite that I had no problem with being so large.

No my problem lied with how small the door was. It was the smallest door in the palace. Further marking it as an anomaly. Worst, I'd have to break it in order to get in. And I was quite certain that bringing down a stone wall, even just part of it, would draw plenty of unwanted attention.

Unfortunately, I was right. The sound of falling stone filled the palace, like a cannon being fired indoors. Already I could hear the metallic clinking of the bronze guards as they rushed this way. Making matters worse was that the actual room itself was too small for me to properly maneuver in. I was essentially crammed in there with only enough room to turn my upper body. Most, almost all really, of my tail stuck out into the hall. A collection of heavy stone debris on my scaly hindquarters.

Which I only now realized was plumper than I thought. Rising up higher than the doorway I just brought down and jiggling far more than something so scaly should have.

However, my admiring of my rear was cut short as the first guard appeared. Like every other guard he was bronze and armed with only a curved sword. He was crushed before he could even get inside. As were the next three guards. The fourth one, though, actually managed to get in.

He ran up my length to my human half and quickly tried to strike my belly. Again, I moved with more speed than my size implied and grabbed him. His metallic form joining many others in the depths of my serpentine stomach. Depths that started filling faster than I'd have liked. More and more of the bronze guards made it past my tail up to me. Soon I was fighting two at a time with my bare hands.

Dodge here, strike there, and repeat. It was like a dance than gradually grew more complex as time went on. The pace of both sides increasing until the entire room was filled with bronze guards. They buried my serpent half beneath them and forced my human one up to the ceiling.

Yet, they never stopped coming and even started climbing over one another. Which is where I drew the line.

With a sound like popcorn popping in the microwave, my thorns were unleashed. They were sharper than before, jagged and twisted. More importantly, when they were unleashed my tail swelled in size. An experience that was like letting out a breath after holding it in for too long: instant relief.

Stone cracked further, and a few of the bronze guards fell into one another. Then before they could reasonably react in time, I started shaking the entirety of my length. Rather wildly.

Flinging around such mass led to some very disastrous outcomes, I had discovered.

Guards were thrown up into the air, and some to the side. Most were crushed between me and the wall. Or the floor in some cases. Those that weren't were torn apart by my thorns and scales. The poison within them both ripping the guards up from within, corrupted vines stealing away whatever gave them life.

I let myself sink into that corruption for a second. And suddenly my stones began to age. They grew larger and larger, until they eventually started to painfully push into each other. Then after enough time they flew off my body like razor sharp sandwich sized bullets. As they flew off they were replaced by even more quickly growing scales.

The results were quite destructive.

Guards were torn and shattered by flying scales or the gyrations of my tail. Bolts, gears, and black oil spread all across the room. Stone crumbled and fell, turning to dust in the chaos.

And then, once it had all settled, I hid my thorns and moved on; slithering further into the room and down a hall. It was, thankfully, much larger than the doorway and I was capable of squeezing my way through. Twisting and turning down several hall ways until I eventually reached another room.

The room had one sole occupant. And I was pretty sure he was a dwarf.
