I woke up with the rising of the sun. A blast of light hitting my eyes as soon as they opened. Golden rays bathing me in warmth all along my length, which was longer than it was the day before. My countless meals having been digested during the night and added onto my frame in the form of bountiful pounds. The near constant growth of my body from eating was something I was more than used to.
It was like the moon coming out at night, or there being too many stars to count. So natural that I hardly ever needed to think about it.
But today, today was different. My body, both human and serpent halves, had grown a bit too much based off what I had eaten yesterday. Literally growing a bit more than a third of my own size. Which was a lot for anyone and even more for me. A lot more for me, really. And while I had no qualms about being bigger and fatter, I had issues when it came right after strange dreams where I met with ancient entities with unknown plans for me.
Like last night.
A quick search and scan of both my body and essence revealed that other than being bigger I was the same as I was the day before. Only bigger, bustier, and longer; All of which were pluses in my book. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for some of the bronze guards who had stood guard over me in my sleep. They, like the sand beneath our feet, had been crushed by my expanded body. Too slow to get away from what must've been an explosive bout of growth.
"Does this normally happen when you fall asleep, or is this a first?" The bronze man asked.
I loosened my bra, untying two strings in the back and giving my breasts some much needed breathing room. "I tell you if you tell me your name."
"I'll take that as a yes."
The man got up off my tail, which he had taken to using as a seat, and pulled out a compass. Like everything else the man seemed involved with, the compass was made of bronze. He stared and tinkered with it for a moment, then pointed out a direction. Wordlessly he and his bronze entourage started to move.
I followed behind and quickly made my way to the front of the procession. My broader hips pushing more than a few of the guards over in the process. A detail the bronze man thankfully made no mention of as I took up all the space on his left side.
In silence we traversed the desert, occasionally stopping whenever something thought to attack me. Each time it happened, a beast met its end at my hands. Or was brutally slaughtered by over a hundred bronze soldiers. Regardless of how they died their remains always ended up inside my stomachs.
For a whole day we traveled in that manner before coming to a stop as the sun set. This time for the bronze man rather than me.
He needed to get repairs.

In a flurry of motion his guards set up a tent I hadn't known they were carrying. Then they carried their leader inside and began their work of repairing him in the dark.
Protectively, I slithered around the tent: Creating a wall of protective scales. One too thick and heavy for any beast to pass. Even the giant worms that swam beneath us were subject to this. If they got too close I would grab them, pull them up from beneath the sand and then kill them. The other guards, those that had remained outside to protect the tent, joined me. They pulled out bows and crossbows and climbed up on top of my coils. Where they fired on anything outside of my reach.
For over five hours we defended the bronze man's tent. By the time he finally came out, fully repaired and ready, I had eaten till I was full and then some. My stomach, a pale Boulder beyond reckoning, had been pushed to its limit. It hung from my torso and rested on my tail, actually managing to bury all beneath it in an impressive display of reckless gluttony.
"Do you need some rest?" The man asked, his eyes glued on the bloated sphere of my stomach.
My breath heavy and short, I managed a nod and stifled a moan. As he turned and walked back into his tent, I lowered myself onto my belly and used my breasts as pillows. Within seconds I was asleep. This time no dreams or visions confronted me, and I slept peacefully through the night.
When I woke up, my bra was too tight once more. Several more strings were untied in the back and then we set off. The tent was gone and my belly, empty, was scarcely any smaller than it was the night prior. Stuffed and filled to the brim with food.
A non-issue. My belly had long since reached the point that it where it should have prevented me from moving the way I did. Where my upper body should have been bound by its weight, a sitting duck in need of defending. Instead, I was just as nimble as ever and fully capable of fighting without use of my tail. Just to prove the point, mostly to my own rising doubts, I lifted my upper body up and turned upside down. Giving me a flipped view of the desert and the bronze army behind me.
They stared as I twirled and swung my upper body around. A sight so bizarrely off from anyone's expectations that the bronze man stopped to stare.
At least I thought he stopped to stare.
He hadn't, not at me at least. No, his blue eyes were locked onto a storm ahead of us. More specifically he was looking at what was in the storm, as was I. It was big, bronze, and scaly.
"Tar'naya the terrible." He said breathlessly.
