While Shiyu was negotiating with the Queen Bee, Jin Ming’s attendant had safely arrived at the capital of Profound Sky Empire.

The attendant had been ordered by the young master to investigate a certain shop assistant.

Upon arriving at the Trading House, he immediately set his eyes upon the face of a young man with a perfectly ordinary face sorting through a collection of herbs behind the crystal counter.

The young man was not very old [a]. He had no idea how this person had been brought into the Trading House as a shop assistant in the first place.

The man came over to the manager to ask after the ordinary-looking young man.

The manager said, “Someone introduced him to me so I thought to try him out. He has a little Cultivation and seemed very honest, therefore I let him stay.”

“When did he come? Not too long ago, just a month or two. Although he’s not very talkative, he has a talent for selling things.

“From Eastern Martial Empire, I believe he has a friend… lives in the city…”

The manager told the attendant everything he knew his new shop assistant. After the attendant had finished his line of questions, he did not speak to the shop assistant but left immediately.

The manager touched his head a little confusedly. Then, he walked up to his shop assistant and could not help but say, “Ah Jin, you seemed to be doing quite well. Even the top people are starting to pay attention to you.”

The young man smiled a little embarrassedly, “It’s all thanks to your support.”

“Whether it’s through my support or not, the Trading House knows best. If you keep up with the good work, you could one day become a manager like me.”

That evening, when his replacement came, the young man left the Trading House and made his way home.

“But, Ah Jin, you shouldn’t give up. When there’s a will there’s a way. I’m sure we’ll find it one day,” Xiao Shu encouraged. “Come on, let’s eat first!”

“En, en,”

In front of Xiao Shu, Shi Jin was not quite as un-talkative.

When Shi Jin returned to the Trading House to replace his fellow shop assistant, the manager came over again.

However, before he could even reach Shi Jin, someone stopped him to say, “Get someone to help me prepare some precious herbs.”

It was the attendant from yesterday.

The manager could not help but ask, “Is it for yourself or the young master?”

“Of course, it’s for the young master. Right now, the young master is at Grand Martial Empire. Since there’s nothing good there, he bade me come and gather some things to be sent.” The attendant’s eyes flashed unconsciously over to Shi Jin, “The young master wishes to befriend a young girl named Shiyu. The manager excitedly said, “I shall have someone prepare it right away.”

Xiao Shu pondered for a moment, “It’s possible… however, Grand Martial Empire is quite a distance from Eastern Martial Empire. Even if it’s her, I believe she would soon come to Profound Sky Empire.”

“En, you’re right. Then, we should just continue waiting as usual.”

While they were speaking about this matter, someone stood on top of their roof. Their gaze flashing…
