Chapter 55: Ch. 55

Sunlight passed through the gaps of the curtains, directly hitting the faces of Kenji and Kanae, who were sleeping peacefully.

Yesterday has been chaotic for Kenji. First, he just fought with two Monarchs who came to kill him.

Second, his furry friend, Caesar, turns out to be alive, or to say, reincarnated and became an untouchable existence. Then, he confronts a Ruler and even forced him out of the mortal world.

Kenji soon, woke up and stretched his limbs, and yawned deeply.

So far, this has been the best sleep of his life. Just after a long battle than going to sleep while cuddling with his lover is probably the reason why it was the best.

After yawning, he turned to his side and saw that Kanae was still asleep, so he quietly and slowly floated out of the bed and went to the bathroom.

While he was brushing his teeth, Kenji was thinking about the power of the Absolute Being that he just received.

So far, he hasn't noticed anything new about him, his powers, or his mind.

It's like the meeting with Caesar was just his dream and it never happened.

 He doesn't know what kind of power does the Absolute Being has but since he was the said Creator of everything then he should at least have the strength to back up his name, but thinking about the Absolute Being who was killed by his own creation, Kenji can't help but think that he is weak.

'Wait. Creator?' When Kenji thought of this, he realized the power of the Absolute Being.

'Since he was said to be a creator then he could probably create anything right? And I have at least a portion of his power so I could possibly create something inorganic?' 

At first, Kenji thought it was ridiculous, but the more he thought about the more he wanted to try it.

So, after brushing his teeth, he went out of the bathroom and saw that Kanae was still sleeping.

Shaking his head, he thought, 'Let's not do it here.'

After that, he went out of the house and flew away, looking for an abandoned warehouse somewhere.

Although his house has a training room, he's not gonna risk his house to do something he doesn't know, so it's why he's searching for an abandoned warehouse that is derived from life.

Soon, after looking for a minute, he finally found what he was looking for.

When he entered, he saw that it was just a normal empty warehouse.

"This should be enough." Nodding his head, Kenji then proceeded to finally try the power he inherited from the Absolute Being.

First, he would try his strength, speed, durability, and all his current abilities, to see if something changed to him.

Since he can't just casually test his strength lest he wanted to destroy the whole of Tokyo.

He then looked at his arm and got a good idea.

'Well, since I can't test my strength here, then why not just try it on my body? Not only will I test my strength, but I'll also be able to test my durability. Two birds with one stone.'

Kenji felt his idea was good enough, so he proceeded to try it.

Using his left hand to pinch his other hand, Kenji could feel no pain, while at the same time, he could feel how tough his skin was.

He doesn't know how tough he is but he knows that he could withstand hundreds of nukes at the same time just from his body alone.

Then, his strength must have increased since there's a red spot on his arm, where he pinched himself.

"I guess my strength also improved. I'll try my speed too." Having said that, everything around Kenji seems to come to a halt.

Kenji could even see a bunch of flies on the corner of the warehouse.

Kenji felt like he stopped the time because the flies weren't moving.

He then proceeded to try his speed, by going outside the warehouse.

When he came into the road, everything was not moving, like the cars, people, and Kenji could even see a girl who was about to fall to the ground with her drink in her hand.

Deciding to help her, he walked toward the girl and grabbed her drink, and carried the girl until she was standing on her own.

But before he gave her drink back, he took a sip first.

"This is pretty cool," Kenji mutters while looking around him with fascination in his eyes 

Kenji couldn't help but feel like he was a God watching over his creations.

"Let's stop here."

He went back to the warehouse and everything resumed to its current speed.

After having a taste of his speed, it was finally time for the last pie. Which is the new power he inherited.

Now, Kenji doesn't know how to control it, but he'll just use his imagination.

He closed his eyes and tried to imagine a pen appearing in his hand.

At first, nothing seems to happen, however, a few seconds later, Kenji felt his stamina decreasing for a bit before it stops.

Now, Kenji could feel a weight on his hand. So, he opened his eyes and saw a normal-looking pen resting in his hand.

"This?" Kenji was shocked when he saw what was in his hand.

It turns out, he was right. His new power now is Creation. He could now create anything he imagines.

However, the only limit is his imagination.

Kenji played with his new power for an hour before he stopped.

Now, Kenji noted everything about his new power inside his mind.

First of all, he can't create something that has life. Second, he needed to focus to create something. Lastly, he could even create all the elements. Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, and their variants, like lightning, and ice.

There don't seem to be any problems regarding his new power.

Now, there's still one remaining test that will decide his future fights.

And that is his resistance against magic. Caesar said that he'll receive some kind of resistance or immunity against it once he acquired the Absolute Being's power.

So, he left the warehouse and flew back to his home.
