While Kenji and Kanae were living their life after the chaos that the 3 Monarchs ensued, inside a throne room, a red haired man, was sitting on the throne while a man was in front of him, kneeling respectfully.

"Antares-sama, those idiots had get themselves killed. What's our next move?"

Meanwhile, Antares, the man sitting on the throne while his fist was on the left side of his chin, while the elbow was leaning on the armrest, just yawned and said.

"Don't worry, the Shadow Monarch hasn't appeared yet, once he appeared, gather everyone including all the other Monarchs, we'll finish the both of them in one swift, before the Rulers could react."

After saying this, Antares's eyes glowed in red, while also revealing 5 Dragon heads behind his throne.

While the kneeling man, gulped his saliva in fear and nodded.

"I understand my lord, I'll inform the other Monarchs about this."

The kneeling man stood up and bowed once more before leaving the throne room in a flash.

Leaving Antares, who was grinning in excitement and delight.

"You never fail to amuse me, Star Monarch."

While Antares was plotting something in the future, Kenji and Kanae tested her new powers in the training room.

They first sparred with each other, and Kenji can't help but feel the difference of the past Kanae who hasn't been infested with the radiation of the platinum kryptonite, to Kanae who has been infested with the radiation.

If the before Kanae could hardly touch him, now Kanae could even punch him now, although it doesn't hurt even one bit, after all, she hasn't been exposed to the sun for her whole life like Kenji.

Aside from that, Kanae could still use her mana, which in turn, gave her a resistance to magics, which made Kenji jealous a bit, as he has to rely to his suit at first, though it's different now, since he awakened the Absolute Being's power.

Not only that, but Kanae also managed to get hopd of her flight ability, she said that the moment she was exposed to the sun, she already knew that she can fly, as she always wanted to fly like a bird.

After sparring and learning more about her powers, it was then revealed that the only weakness she had is the red sun and the kryptonite.

As for why he knew? Well, he created green kryptonite, and voila, he doesn't have a weakness to it, but Kanae has.

Though Kanae wasn't saddened by this, as Kenji told her that kryptonite doesn't exist in this world.

Once they're done, Kenji was called by his father about his promotion.

Since a few S-rank hunters and Thomas Andre, testified that the enemies that time was probably much more stronger than Kamish, add the fact that they killed Christopher Reed, the world council decided to create another new rank just for Kenji.

World Rank.

Kenji was the only hunter who has a rank for this, as in order to reach this rank was to get a recognition from a National Hunter, and you must defeat at least 1 Beyond S-rank monsters.

That's right, the world decided to categorize the Monarchs as Beyond S-rank Monsters, as not only they look like a human being, but the main reason was their destructive strengths that almost wiped out the entirety of Tokyo, and also for their massacre of Christopher Reed and countless S-ranks.

Meanwhile, Kenji who heard his father about this, wasn't excited at all, after all, he knew that this rank presents nothing but a huge target on his back.

And besides, Monarchs exists, so the title is pretty much useless if the world is destroyed.

It was decided that the promoting ceremony would be scheduled till next week, so Kenji would he on vacation in a week.

Kenji decided to use this week to practice his powers, although at first, he thought of having a date with Kanae, but decided to date again once the Monarchs and Rulers are solved.

While walking out of the training room, and towards the bathroom, Kenji remembered his guild the he created, that only he and Kanae are the members.

He hasn't seen anyone with potential to his guild, hence why it was empty. Though he would like to invite his parents, but they're already retired, and it's time for them to rest.

'Maybe I can recruit hunters from other countries.' While thinking of this, Kenji finally arrived at the bathroom. Before going in here, he grabbed his phone since he needed to make a call.

Pressing a few numbers, the phone rang, and was immediately answered by a familiar voice.

"Hey Kenji, how are you doing? Is Kanae fine? I heard about what happened, I hope you're okay."

"Hi Shina-san, Kanae's fine, and I'm also the same. I just called you since I needed to break something to you."

"What is it? Is it something bad?"

"Well, I don't know how to say this to you. But, someone wanted to meet you, and he's someone you know." Kenji said.

"S-someone I know? Kenji, who is it?" This time, there was nervousness in Shina's voice.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen to you. Just trust me on this one, okay? And besides, Kanae has already met him."

"Really? But why didn't Kanae tell me? And by the way, 'him'? As in a guy?"

"Yeah. I don't know about Kanae, but yes, it is a guy. So, are you gonna meet him?"

"O-okay then, when will it be?"

"Tomorrow, and I'll send you the place where you'll meet. Anyway, that's all, take care, Shina-san, I'm hanging up."

"Okay."

Hitting the decline button, Kenji then tapped a few more numbers before it rang again.

"Gun-Hee speaking." Gun-Hee, who was on the other side of the phone, answered.

"This is Kenji, she agreed on meeting you, but it'll be on tomorrow, I'll send you where you guys will meet."

"S-she agreed? Really? Thank you very much, Kenji-dono!" Excitement filled Gun-Hee's voice, as he kept thanking Kenji.

"Yeah, you're welcome. Anyway, I'll hang up now. I'll send you the place later."

Once he hang up, he lean on the bathtub, and silently think about the things he have done since coming here.

All the fights, drama, and some shits. Kenji felt like he needed a drink.

"*Sigh* how can life be so cruel."
