“Do you want me to move in with you?” Aron shows a lot of surprises.

 

"Yes, that's why I came today." Drake pats Aron on the back, and smiles a little: “I feel really lonely now that my parents are gone. As you know, they are not from Brazil, their family is all in England, but even on the day of the funeral, they did not attend. My parents never talked about their families, and apparently, the reason was that they didn’t get along.”

 

“Why did you come to Brazil?” Aron asked rhetorically.

 

“Mmm, maybe.” Drake was as much in the dark as Aron.

 

“By the way, when was the funeral? Why didn't you tell me before?” Aaron asked.

 

“It was all so fast, I didn’t even have time to cool down.” Drake sighed, “To be honest, it's still hard to believe they're gone. I... I... Sigh~”

“Calm down, have some coffee.” Aron wasn't good at comforting someone, he patted Drake twice on the back and handed over the coffee cup.

 

Aron's clumsy way of trying to cheer him up made Drake laugh a little. Accepting the cup of coffee and barely touching his lips and already took it out after drinking just a little, however, soon after he went and took it all in one gulp.

 

"I'm back from the cemetery now." Drake looked at the ceiling, and a long, big sigh came out of his mouth: “It was all too fast, my parents had already bought a grave too. "I see..." Aron took a deep breath.

 

As for the proposal to live together, he saw no reason to refuse.

 

“Your house is a little far from my job, but…” Aron thought for a while, then replied: “Yes, even if you have to take two buses, it's still better that you keep paying rent. By the way, what exactly am I going to have to help around the house?”

But soon a doubt arose in Aron's mind. 'Should I tell you what is happening to me?'

 

Honestly, he was scared to talk about it with anyone. Even though Drake is his best friend, it was hard to say he was turning into some kind of monster. 'But, would I be counted as a monster? I mean, I don't feel like killing people or anything, although, I won't deny that I can end up killing someone if I don't control my growing strength...'

 

Perhaps he regretted a little that he had agreed to move in together. However, it would be strange if he went back on his words.

 

“But, it's going to take a while, actually, I just paid the rent...” Aron contemplated and said, “Mm, what do you think about it, I'm moving out after a week? Or can you come and stay here this week?”

 

Drake looked thoughtful. The truth was, it would be hard for him to go home without his parents present. Staying for a week in Aron's rented apartment might be a good idea after all.

 

"Okay, I think it's good too." Drake agreed.

 

'Now… How do I tell him that I like meat very rarely? Tsk, why to think too much, I just have to say that I started to like it after trying it and that's it!'
